BrainFogBud First time growing autos hoping for a good run with no pests 😂
Held off on going straight into another grow due to local temps being over 30 the last 3 months.
Tray2grow added to the setup from last grow.
Had added dolomite to the mix to hopefully prevent the need of liquid calmag.

BrainFogBud Trying out pine needles that I collected as a mulch to keep the top of the soil from drying out.
Two of the plants are slightly slow on the rebound from when they got put into their 7gal pots but are showing movement, whilst the other two had no issues with it at all.
Oscillating fan no longer oscillating due to disturbing clicking noise on rotation.

BrainFogBud Had a good week of growth.
Happy with the top of the soils moisture with the addition of the pine needles on top, expecting a mess when it comes to removing them for top dressing though.
Considering topping and training this week will decide in the next coming days if I'll even bother.
Lights still on 25%
Edit: Decided to LST 2/4 plants and will maybe do the other two later this week.
Editx2: Had to remove the Pine needles from the top of the pots today due to one of the pots showing pests growing on the needles. No issues shown on plants as of yet but as a precaution all plants and top of soil was sprayed with a hydrogen peroxide solution.

BrainFogBud Still away at this point but returning the next week, second week of flower.
3 of the 4 plants stretched and bushed out well however the front left plant which was initially ahead stunted out and is beginning to yellow.
Nutrients wise nothing has been added to help these plants as of yet since the last top dressing. Was hoping the dolomite would have covered me but its either too much or just not breaking down.

BrainFogBud First couple of days back and realized how dire everything actually was 😅
Started defoliating all the plants gradually due to excessive leaves went slightly too hard on the biggest plant.
Cut down the cover crop that was attempted and will probably stick to doing a cover crop during no grow periods and using straw whilst plants are growing. Rechecked ph of reservoir and trays to find Reservoir ph at 6.2 and tray ph at 7.3 so ended up cleaning the copper mat and trays.
Refilled reservoir and re-ph'd to 6.5 --- Tray ph reads at 6.7 after cleaning and low on water in tray re-buffers down as it refills.
Attempted a foliage spray with a Nettle extract from Vebi Bio it is premixed so just drenched the plants down with it measurement not required. Smelt wayyy better than Neem oil for spraying indoors!
Was still trying to figure out what exactly was the issue when I returned as I wasn't keeping on top of the plants.
Current conditions in tent returning to 26-27 temps and 55-65% humidity in the day.

BrainFogBud Photos taken today nearing the end of week 8 - 16/10/25.
As photos show all 4 plants are showing a loss of green and rust spots and blotches some worse than others. Lost a number of leaves but hoping that they will recover or atleast make it to the end of flower however I might be too late.
Figured out what exactly was going on a couple of days ago after re-looking over everything i missed whilst away.
Added 2ml/l of Advanced nutrients calmag to around 30-40l of remaining reservoir water around 2 days ago.
Considering going a bit harder on the calmag next tank refill but will see how the plants react first.
17-10-25 Refilled tank, added further calmag from advanced nutrients at a 3ml/1l ratio and re-ph'd to 6.2 a bit lower this time.
I believe I nuked the soil with the top dress by adding more dolomite unnecessarily which bumped the soil into an alkaline ph making the plant have issues up taking the calcium and magnesium and also breaking down the added dolomite in top dressing.
Will try Epsom salts and Gypsum solely as solid amendments next grow once soil ph is back on track.

BrainFogBud Week 10 - The plants seem to be reacting well to the Calmag, leaves have stopped yellowing out at the rate they were before and the stunted plant seems to be the first plant to turn back a shade of green.
Noticed that there is a branch or two that seemed unaffected on the biggest plant by the deficiency and have the nicest flower development. The could of been for the rest of the plant/s 😅
The plant at the bottom right of the tent is showing the smallest bud development out of the bunch and am attempting to top water them all more often to get this to change. So far the Tray2grow's has been awesome for keeping the plants watered.
Smells are slowly starting to come out on the plants, will wait a few more weeks for that to properly come through.
