UnorthadoxDude After receiving a mail call today from Sensi Seeds, I was delighted to see four old school indica leaning strains and regular seeds to boot. Thinking about when I might get to grow these out, I figured next season is basically going to be the earliest. I just cannot wait that long to try these epic strains though, and since I have 14 of each seed, I thought I would try a little experiment.
As soon as these seeds germinate I will plant them into small pots in the poly tunnel. I expect photoperiod plants to start flowering around late August here in the UK, and it is rapidly approaching mid august now. So this is essentially going to be a 12/12 from seed type of run, but outdoor in the poly.
This strain is Hash Plant, a reportedly highly resinous strain with Afghani heritage. Beans put into moist paper towel in open sandwich bag at 16:45pm 7th Aug '25, and thrown on the floor of the tent. In three days I will check on them and hopefully they will be ready to plant.
I am very excited to run these beans - are you going to follow along for the ride? 😄
Update at 36h: Checking the beans at 36h I see that 2/4 have popped. I will leave them for another 36 hours then check again.
Thank you very much to Sensi Seeds for sponsoring this grow.
I have not yet decided on which nutrients to run, either shogun or plagron.

UnorthadoxDude Well here we are with the first week of veg for this crazy experiment with classic indica strains.
These four hash plant seedlings are a mixed bag, two look great, one looks okay, and one I have grave concerns for.
The aim here is to get one female, so I am relaxed about losing one seedling early on if it happens, although it is still early enough that I could simply plant another. However I don't think I will, these will do what they will do.
Anway, let's see what happens shall we? Regular updates to come.
Day 5: After four days in the greenhouse I have moved into the poly tunnel as these girls stretched for light. They have been in the poly tunnel for about 24h. Two of the seedlings look healthy, but two of the seedlings are behind and small... one in particular I am concerned about the most.
Day 7: End of the first week and plant's 1 and 3 are looking great. However plant 2 is quite far behind, I will leave her and give her a chance to catch up. However plant 4 is cooked.
