JVKdopegrow RQS Sweet Skunk grow from seed (paper towel 48 hours). Tap root planted in generic (MUFGA) Hydroponic growing system (w dome). Cotyledon showed within additional 48 hours. 1st serrated leaves within 2 days (light at 8"), second set of serrated leaves within 4 days (light within 6"). Transplanted from hydroponic system to Coco/Soil mix on day 11. Watered when planted (250ml RO water). Photo 3 days later after transplant.

I have 4 additional seedlings ready to be moved to grow tent (same convoluted method as above!). I have the Fox Farm Trio, as well as Cal-Mag. How much/when to add nutro?

Hey Growmie, once your seedlings have 3–4 true leaves, you can start feeding light nutes go ¼ strength on the Fox Farm Trio to start, like 2 tsp Big Bloom, ½ tsp Grow Big, and 1 tsp Cal-Mag per gallon, no Tiger Bloom yet, that’s for flower. Feed once a week, plain water in between, and always mix Cal-Mag first. Watch for tip burn or clawing, and adjust if needed

JVKdopegrow Added 4 more ladies to the tent (all autoflower/1 RQS Sweet Skunk and 3 Royal Creamatic). Added 1tsp/gal Cal-Mag 2 tsp/gal Fox Farm Grow big/ 1 Gal in total for all 5 plants. They all received 250ml water 3 days later, and seem to be doing well. As this is my 1st grow I am being careful to not go overboard with water and nutrients. I am tempted to LST on a plant or two but I think they need at least another week. Added 2nd Beelux LED light for better coverage, as this particular light seems weak once it is 12+ inches away from plants.

JVKdopegrow Solid growth for all the ladies. Small attempt at LST on a couple of plants. Minor concern of elevated Ph causing lockout (yellowing of lower leaves) will give all low dose nutrients in next watering.

JVKdopegrow Solid growth for all plants this week. Initially the RQS Sweet Skunk seemed to take off, but the RQS Royal Creamatic plants have taken charge with leaf & node growth. Tried some LST with a little success, I was reluctant to fully bend the stems and just opened up the main stem to some additional light. I determined my crappy Ph meter was junk, purchased a new digital one and have the opposite problem I had last week. Small minor adjustments are the plan. There is flowering on the main stem of 3 plants. Dealing with a fungus gnat issue, but overall a good week!

JVKdopegrow Very busy week! Very good growth for all the ladies, and flowering on multiple nodes on 4/5 plants. Had a "overheat" issue which led to some leaf mold. I quickly defoliated all leaves showing spots (needed some trimming anyways) and all seems good. I also may have finally defeated the fungus gnats (sticky's and mosquito bit tea). Ph levels are also back in line. I have complete most of the LST that I can (Autoflower plants) as they move to stretch, keeping the canopy at approximately the same level. I decided to let the plants dry out this week, and will start nutes for flowering next watering.

JVKdopegrow Excellent week for the plants. Rookie attempt on LST paying benefits as multiple nodes in flower on all the ladies (with one exception). I have been slowly defoliating lower fan leaves and very bottom nodes. Still a struggle with Ph issues, but at this point that will be a solvable issue for next grow. One plant refuses to bloom, and as they are all autoflowers germinated within a week of each other I am not sure what to do.

Plant stuck in Veg, looks healthy, but also no new growth or flower for 2 weeks (Week 7). Low Ph (4.5) soil/coco mix. Only plant in a plastic pot. Should I give up? Can I use this for cuttings for a future grow? Wait it out? Move outside for sun?

The photo isn't really showing the plant but the leaves look healthy. Next time try to provide more photos in different angles with neutral lighting please. Imho 4.5 pH is way too low. Coco plants grow fastest with a relatively acidic root zone of 5.5-6.5 pH. My suggestion: Adjust the pH and give her some time. Also the pot size seems a bit small. I hope that was helpful, good luck with your grow! 😘

JVKdopegrow Exciting week for this 1st time grower! Tent is getting crowded. Buds filling out on 3 RQS Royal Creamatic Auto. Multiple flowers on RQS Sweet Skunk Auto, which responded very well to LST. Smaller RQS Sweet Skunk moved outdoor for flush (after stalling for 2 weeks) and is showing new growth. Overnight Rh issue solved by venting outside with constant running filter/fan.

JVKdopegrow Pretty good week here. Royal Creamatic buds are slowly plumping (a test in patience?). Sweet Skunk Auto are stretching and adding pistils like crazy. Brought one Sweet Skunk Auto back to the tent from outside rehab after she was flushed, dried out and showed some new growth. She responded to LST and may still flower. This has been a learning process!

She very likely had defoliation/nutrient issues and completely stopped growing after 4 weeks of veg. I put her outside (Florida sunshine) for a week of flushing and drying out. I was rewarded with some new growth! Can an Autoflower continue growing again and still flower?

If you stunted one with stress, yes it can come back. The question will be at what cost. Autos have an internal timer. You dont tell it when to flower, it does it when its wants (internal timer). So its like a race with an auto. You only have so much time to let it do its thing before it changes on you. So every time you stunt it, it loses potential yeild. So the question is how big it gets before it changes itself to flower. Is it worth putting time and money(lights/fertilizer) on something that wont produce much if it flowers on a small plant? If I have space for it, I did, and I used it as a learning curve. How to fix the issue and what happens after. Had 1 plant produce .5oz for the whole thing. Super waste of time, but learned how I made the plant get root bound. Now I run photos. You tell them when to flip. If you make mistakes, you can veg it longer and fix it. Easier to learn on. I averaged 2-3oz per plant with autos. I average 5-6 on photos with a slightly longer veg. Its just a better end result with photos, unless you have everything dialed in (environment, fertilizer, grow media, good genetics). The other thing to watch for with stunting/stressing a plant is the chance of hermie. I've had a few plants hermie on me when they got a little too stressed. They came back looking healthy, but the damage was already done. To me it looks ok and I'd keep going with it. Just some things to think about, Best of luck! Happy Growing!

JVKdopegrow Waiting, waiting and more waiting. It seems like the buds are filling out, but I check so often it's tough to see the change! One RQS Sweet Skunk Auto seems stuck in veg (still growing though), but all others are moving along. I will likely have to chop in stages (multi strain grow) and my big concern is where/when to dry as I will still need the tent for 2 plus weeks. There are worse problems to have in life!

Hello gardening friend. I hope and wish you can get your problems under control. The Royale Crematic is a good choice. I recommend tying the entire plant slightly to the side; it gave me a super even growth pattern. Happy growing.
