Comfrey Es gibt nicht viel zu berichten. Ich habe sie einmal gegossen und ein Blatt abgezwickt.
Der Duft im Garten ist sehr angenehm. Sie hat einen betörenden Duft, der im Gesamtbouquet der Gartenkräuter deutlich hervorsticht, sich aber so einfügt, dass es nicht auffällt. Ich liebe den Duft.

Comfrey Leider musste ich auf einer unteren Blüte Kot von irgend einem Tier entfernen. Ich vermute dass es eine Weinbergschnecke war. Oder hat von euch jemand eine Idee? Nicht das am Ende jemand Rattengift darauf verteilt hat. Ich bin mir nicht sicher was das sein könnte.
Ansonsten entwickelt sie sich sehr schön weiter. Der Duft ist wirklich sehr angenehm.

What is it?
I spottet something strange on one of a lower flower branch. Does anyone have an idea what it might be? Shit from burgundy snales or mice? Rat poison on it? I took away all of the visible dirt but I‘m not sure if it‘s a good idea to use these flowers later.

That's weird, isn't it? Looks a bit like caterpillar poo. In two pics out of three, I can find leaves eaten by what looks like a caterpillar. Just shake it off, then use tweezers to remove any more. Don't let it rain on it before you clean it off... that's when I wouldn't want to smoke it. Now is fine if you remove it all. You can even dunk your branches in a large bucket of water and shake off any remaining undesirables at harvest. Then shake off excess water, hang in a fan or breeze out of direct light to dry the water off. Then dry, cure and smoke as normal. It should be fine. Good luck and well done getting your plants to this stage.

Das könnte Raupenkot eines Kohlweißlings sein.
Wenn du alles Sichtbare entfernt hast, sind die sauberen Blüten vielleicht noch verwendbar, aber ich wäre vorsichtig :)

@Kush_Kalle, danke für deinen Tip. Wir haben viel Kohl und viele Kohlweißlinge im Gemüsegarten. Jetzt nachdem du es geschrieben hast, erinnere ich mich daran, dass die Art von Kötteln immer auf den Kohlblättern rumliegt.

Da is der Wurm drin! Gestern noch eine schöne Doku auf 3Sat gesehen bezüglich Erde bzw Living Soil sah auch so aus. Was nimmst du zum Mulchen? Hatte mir zum Anfang der Saison das mal gegönnt aber die Körnung bzw größe des Gehächsels ist doch sehr Grob.

@Kushycat, in einer Handvoll Kompost sind mehr Organismen, als es Menschen auf der Erde gibt. Pilze und Mikroben regieren die Welt. 🤫🤭😅
Dein Mulch ist ok und füttert das Bodenleben eher nicht ausreichend, aber wenn du dir das Material möglichst divers selbst zusammen sammelst und gut angefeuchtet im Ofen bei 150 Grad eine halbe Stunde dämpfst (miese Tierchen im Zelt…), dann haben alle was zu Futtern in deiner Livingsoil. Wenn du draußen anbaust, ist das Dämpfen überflüssig.

@Kushycat, alle möglichen frisch geschnittenen Kräuter von Minze, Lavendel, Eibisch, etc. Rinde zerkleinert (Eiche, Birke), ausreichend braunes Material, Kleiner Astbruch/ -Häcksel, Laub, Biostroh,…
