Grow no 2. Micro grow

Enochian Welcome to my second grow. I have decided to try several strains with similar requirements to gain a little more experience. I have two small tents, a 2 by 2 by 4 for veg and a 2 by 2 by 5 for flower. I already have 1 plant in flower tent with room for a couple more. I plan to use scroG with a little LST and maybe topping if there is room. Considering using two seedlings to 12/12 from week 2 of veg as a micro grow but not sure yet. Will let the plants decide. Used shot glass and wet paper towel method of germination and am looking forward with a little more knowledge than I had with grow 1. No overwatering, and no obsessing over soil PH if things are going well. Any suggestions or comments welcome.

Enochian All seems good in the garden. Gelato is loving the blurple extension light. Will rotate daily to give everyone a turn. Alternating feeding with 1ml grow per litre of water and just balanced water for next week. Gelato has a slight head start on others so will continue with grow per watering until others catch up. Found a couple of bag seeds so giving em a chance in the spotlight. That's all for this week.

Enochian Decided I am short on both space and time so all 4 seedlings gonna be flipped today. A little experiment to free up the tents in a couple of months. Not sure how this gonna go but needs must as the devil drives. Any suggestions welcome.

Enochian All is well in the micro grow tent. Some leaves show brown spots where I have spilt nutrien water on leaves. Not much room in these 2x2's too manouver around. Will rotate plants as I see more growth in the rear two plantsas they have extra red and blue spec light. Trying to keep her in the VPD sweetspot as they are still young and forced into flower. The enviroment is a steady 25 to 28c and RH seems to settle at around 55% which seems to suit them. All in all a good week in the micro tent.

Enochian Moved to flower tent now they seem big enough to handle extra light and temp increase. VPD at around 1 to 1.2 for most of the day. Leaf temp is close to ambient temp. Heady smell in the tent now too. Needs tweaking here and there as only a small space but I have the time and patience. Happy daze in the garden this week.

Enochian The micro grow is well in flower now and all 4 strains are doing very well. The flower tent smells like a hippies dream! So far, this grow has been trouble free and according to plan. Added acouple of Temp/humidity/VPD sensors across the canopy which give me an overall picture of how well these girls transpire. Good transpiration means good roots and nutrient uptake, which in turn nmeans healthy bloom. Happy Grower.

Enochian Girls doing great! Loving this micro grow or 12/12 from seed I believe is the correct term. All loving the nutes and the light. Temp and humidity still a bit of a prob but with regular attention and creative air exchange they are at a steady 28.5 and 55 humidity with no apparent problems. VPD lingers around 1.3 to 1.5 for most of the 12 hour light cycle with a leaf temp a couple of degrees lower than air temp. All in all I am impressed with this method. Happy daze!

Enochian Another good week in the garden. Having gone back to the beginning of this diary I realised that the Green Gelato is a couple of weeks ahead of the others having germinated sooner. I added the others in after she had got established and so she will be the first to be ready I would think. She certainly seems go be ahead in bud production. I will keep a close eye on her from this week. Looking into PPM for help in diagnosing any future problems similar to the PH problems I encountered on my first grow. Seems PPM along with hints from my plants might help identify issues early on. Really happy with this grow and may do another micro grow of a single strain with more plants to optimise my space and yield. I really enjoy growing stuff.

Enochian Removed Green Gelato for drying yesterday so will add harvest next week. Otherwise all is good. Northern Lights and Critical Kush are almost done just waiting on a little amber here and there. Sundae Driver has a little longer to go I think but will keep a close eye on her. Moved from flower tent last week back into veg Tent for last couple weeks as flower tent is now populated with my auto girls. Looking forward to this harvest as the smell is wonderful.

Enochian All in all a good grow. Will do another with more plants next time. Will post harvest of other strains in tent next week after drying.

Enochian Dry weight between all 4 plants came out at about oz and a half, I think. Easy grow and happy with the result. I really do love growing stuff. 😷
