Nickeluring Germination went well. I kept the seeds at 24 degrees. I put the seeds in a cup of water for the first 12 hours, and then in a paper towel until they popped tap roots.

Nickeluring At one week we have normal growth. The little seedling looks healthy and happy. She was having some problems staying erect so I gave her some support. I have given her a weak nutrient solution and slowly saturated the soil by adding a little bit every day.

Nickeluring I germinated 2 seeds and intended to keep one and give the other to a friend. Well, that friend couldn´t take it so I decided to keep it for experimenting. I will keep plant 2 on a different balcony where she will get less direct sun light compared to plant 1 on the terrace. I am manifolding plant 2, and she was topped when she was only 12 days old. I removed the shoots from node 1 and now she only has 2 shoots at node 2. I will top these shoots soon...

Nickeluring Plant 1 was topped at day 16. I topped her above node 4 and removed node 1. She will have 6 main branches. She is doing very well. All my 4 plants on the terrace look almost the same, and I take that as they all grow to the best of their abilities. Plant 2 had a little accident during the second topping. I managed to break the stem of one of the main fan leaves, and I ruined one of the 4 shoots. So, the mainlining is a bit ruined now. It has two branches on one side, and only one branch on the other.

Nickeluring The plants are doing well, but plant 1 has some unhappy leaves. They´ve started to flower so I´ll give them their first drink of bloom nutes tomorrow. Hopefully that will make Plant 1 happier. I screwed up the second topping of the mainlined plant, so it only has 3 branches instead of 4 as intended. This will not be a proper mainlining. The other plant I did at the same time is ok, though.

Nickeluring PLant 1 has a great shape with 6 main branches that spread out perfectly. SHe is 53 cm tall. Plant 2 that only has 3 main branches seem to turn out great as well. The 3 branches grow great and she is tall now at 71 cm.

Nickeluring The girls are not happy with the temperatures we have here at the moment. It is very hot! Hopefully some extra silicone will help them dealing with the heat. Otherwise both girls look great. The mainlined plant is getting some long colas. She might end up having better yield in the end...
