RatmanJR Seeds planted February 14th. All seeds Sprouted around February 28th Getting started on my pheno hunt journey. Figured why not try with the hardest I could do. Currently have 5 Durban poisons sprouted. Once large enough I will be taking cuttings and moving those cuttings into a larger tent to grow. I will than select the females remaining and grow those to the finish line. Whichever strain I like the best will ultimately make it too it’s own tent as it’s forever home. Currently growing in 18x18 with some small leds

RatmanJR They were growing really slowly but nicely and than kylo got ahold of them. He ate them up pretty bad. Out of the 5 phenos, it looks like 4 will survive. Kylo did tell me the one that won’t make it tasted like a male anyway. We will consider this high stress training. God bless!

RatmanJR Still growing in the small tent. Luckily the 4 that weren’t too beaten up made a full recovery. Crazy how well these bounced back. So far super happy with these seeds. 5 for 6 on germination and 4 major massive recovery’s from my mean cat.

RatmanJR Clone day. Finally labeled my 4 phenos. Took 4 top cuttings from each plant, dipped in rooting hormone and put in rockwool cubes I had soaking in real growers recharge. Hopefully in 1-3 weeks these will be ready to go in some soil

RatmanJR Not any huge updates. Plants that got cloned are growing back strong. First clone popped some super healthy roots around 14 days post clone. Hoping next ones are done by the weekend. God bless!

RatmanJR All 4 finally showed roots out of the bottom of the wool and were moved into their new fabric pots for the time being where they can develop their roots before being transplanted. The 4 clones were moved to the 3x3 with larger LED. They will remain in small pots where they will be moved into their larger pots once ready. The mothers/fathers will remain in the small tent. I will constantly prune them to keep them small. The fabric pots should air prune them so roots don’t rot. I will give them nutrients once they start needing it but with the smaller light they don’t use a lot. I plant of cutting them tmmr down as they have grown back quite strong and are getting vigorous. The clones in order from back left to right and front left to right are. Number 1,4,3,2. Really looking forward to seeing how these clones grow and testing my ability’s as a grower to keep these mothers/fathers pruned and alive in their small tent Update 05/19: I violently topped and removed about 80% foliage from the mothers/fathers. This is too keep them small from outgrowing their little tent. I need to get the 4 clones to the finish line before I can discard any of these 4 parents. These violent prunings will stunt them. They will recover they are weeds after all

RatmanJR Another week. At the time being just letting the clones fill out their small pots before I transplant them into their grow boxes. I expect a week or two. All 4 are doing really well and are rooting into the soil I placed their cubes in. At the same time just keeping the 4 mothers/fathers as small as possible so they don’t outgrow their little tent. I keep topping them violently and it’s been working really well. It stunts them for a few weeks giving me time to grow out these 4 clones. Hopping all 4 will be females but will see, the one mother/father and it’s clone is vigorous so if that’s a male it might still be worth keeping. God bless

RatmanJR May 31st update Clone 1: 9 inches tall. Distinct sativa leaves. Already has 7 pointers and looks like it’s trying to push 9s. Close node spacing Clone 2: 11 inches tall. This one has been growing with the most vigor. Largest node spacing out of all of them. Sturdy stalk. Really happy with this one so far. Clone 3: 5 inches tall. This one has been growing the slowest and least vigor. Doesn’t mean much at this point but going to keep an eye on it Clone 4: 10 inches tall. Close node spacing. Widest out of all the plants. Have a feeling this one will be bushier and squatter All 4 clones: Added red wigglers to both grow boxes, this will help with aeration and compaction. Also transplanted all 4 clones out of their small fabric pots into grow boxes. Top watered boxes but from here on out will only be doing bottom watering. Just wanted to make sure soil was moist as I have been neglecting watering the boxes Parents: I haven’t done anything with the 4 parents this week except water. They are bouncing back from their last topping. I will likely top again in a week or two once they start to take off again Looking forward to this small Pheno hunt. Hoping all 4 are females but we will see! God bless!

RatmanJR June 7th update. Clone#1 Plant was growing phenomenal but now that we hit a high enough node starting to see pre flowers. Is a male. Chopped it but kept the plant I took the clone from in case I end up wanting this male Clone#2 15 inches. Smallest base by far. Really interesting staggered growth. So far pre flowering looks like female fingers crossed Clone#3 9 inches, Short and stout(on a real note 2 inches is a LOT) might be desirable for indoor growing. Interested to see. So far pre flowering looks like female fingers crossed Clone#4 16 inches tall, wide base short top. Might be desirable for light exposure to lower canopy. Will see in flower. So far pre flowering looks like female fingers crossed Parent plants I continue to leave the parent plants under a small led panel and on 24/0 to keep them small. Will top them in a week or two too keep them even smaller.they seem very happy at the moment Overall likely only going to veg a week or two longer, just need enough flower to determine my female. Plus these “land races” go crazy when they stretch. God bless Update June 8th. Did an aggressive defoliation on the 4 plants the clones came from. They seem healthy so figured good time to do it. Should stunt them for a few more weeks. God bless

RatmanJR June 14th update Clone#1 Got chopped last week had balls Clone#2 22 inches growing really well. Much like number 4 in terms of verticals growth but significantly less width. Might be good for people who have less square footage but taller tents Clone#3 18 inches. Short and squat. Interesting structure giving what this plant should be. I bet this one will yield small but interested to see how she progresses/smokes Clone#4 28 inches. Massive vertical growth and side branches are trying to take up the whole tent. Will see how it flowers but its body is preparing for a lot of weight. I expect this one to yield huge General Update 3 remaining females growing very nicely. I’ve never actually seen a cannabis plant that looks like this, seems straight out of the early propaganda but I guess it is a land race. Aside from flipping to 12/12 I’ve also turned on the red leds which will help once flowers start forming. I’m going to continue to give just water at this point. I expect the plants to stretch like crazy giving they are pure sativas but we will see especially with the squat one. I’m also going to be putting in some thin sticks to help support the side branching, if I don’t do this once she starts flowering it will start tipping over Mothers/father plants don’t look too happy. That defoliation I did last week did a number on them. I am seeing new growth so they will all recover. Next weekend I’m moving them into slightly larger pots with newer soil too make them happy. God bless June 19th update Put in a ton of supports before we get too deep into flower. God bless

RatmanJR June 21st update. 7 days since flip Clone#1 Had balls got chopped two weeks ago Clone#2 Last week was 22 inches. This week is 33 inches. Very similar to clone number four but not as vigorous or large. I will say based on how it’s mother has handled toppings that this one is very resilient. Clone#3 Last week was 18 inches. This week is 30 inches. I am most excited for this one. Seems like it has a tighter structure, less spacing and more indica like leaves. It looks different while 4 and 2 look very similar. Can’t wait to smoke to this thing. Clone#4 Last week was 28 inches. This week is 41 inches. This one is an absolute animal. Huge node spacing. Heavy bud sites. Needs lots of supports. I love how aggressive this grows and I know this thing can handle some high humidity. Might keep this one just for outdoor growing. All 4 Clones: Will continue to only give water. Each plant is drinking about 4 gallons a week at the moment. The soil I put them in I highly amended with build of soil products and the starting soil was already hot. Really excited to see how they grow. Going to likely super crop this week just based on how they are currently stretching Parents: The one father and 3 mothers were looking bad in their small pots after the last aggressive topping so I was going to transplant. They have since recovered and are looking much better so I will be leaving them along for now God bless!

Going to need names for the 4 plants that were cloned and the 4 clones. Anyone got any names they would like to see in the diary?
