NitroCat what's good good
for this season we got 3 Wurlz F1 and 1 Pineapple Express F1, both by Zamnesia, both autos, and we also got 2 Gorilla Cookies by Fast Buds covered in a parallel diary.
all the seeds were germinated on the 12th of April, so all the plants are on day 28 from seed.
so far all these have been fed the same bioHeaven/activera/great white mix at very little doses from the start, with a little bit of biogrow as needed (the Pineapple Express seems to be stocked on nitrogen, so we keeping it very light for her until she asks for more). all 3 Wurlz have been developing very similar and everyone seems happy :D
updates a few days from now...
NitroCat quack quack today we bring a double update. some pictures are from almost a week ago (16 May, day 34 from seed), and the others are fresh out the tent (22 May, 40 days from seed).
of course they overgrew the smaller tent so we setup a bigger one (1 square metter). the 2 gorilla cookies are taking over the smaller one (check the other diary for the update on them!).
for this tent we are using some mad homemade COBs. the spectrum is 3500k and they bright as fuck. the magnifying lenses help a lot with coverage and light penetration deeper into the canopy, however we will set up one or two more COBs to better distribute the light intensity around the canopy for rest of bloom.
besides that not much to say. we are about 1 week and a half into bloom and they have been super happy overall. all of them had a really nice initial stretch into bloom (specially Wurlz 2!! she is the queen on this tent). the pineapple is literally a bush lmao really beautiful plant. the slight nitrogen excess seems to be gone and hopefully she will strecth a bit more into bloom still! she could def use some more space between nodes.
feeding has been very light (about .5 - 1ml per liter of most nutrients on most waterings), and we flushed once before starting with the bloom nutrients (bio bloom & top max). remember to keep feeding biogrow into flowering too if you use biobizz!
very excited to see what these girls have to show for the next 7 weeks or so!
update in about a week..
NitroCat saturday update for the end of week 7!
the girls are absolutely happy, and they are about to be even happier! we have just installed 2 more COBs to cover the canopy more evenly and provide an extra spectrum. these new COBs are running a bit more intense than the other 3: they are 200w for 2 COBs, aka 100w each. the white ones are 200w for 3, aka ~66w each), and they are more yellow than the others. im not sure exactly what color temp, but id assume something between 2500k and 3000k, since the white ones are 3500k and these new ones look slightly less yellow than an HPS bulb (2000k). we had these COBs laying around the whole time, we were just missing the fans to keep them cool so we decided to wait a bit to install them.
now the ladies are getting 650 - 750ppfd all around, with a more complete spectrum. and it feels absolutely awesome.
