BOTAN1ST The second week the plants were still in the Root Riot cubes, but the cubes worked really good. Plants were still green and grew rapidly. At the end of the week we potted them into 1L containers 😎

BOTAN1ST The third week went by normally, no special abnormalities. The plants should soon start to show themselves :)
BOTAN1ST Top row, left to right: Radical Juice, Mona Lisa, Challah Cake
Bottom row, left to right: Sexbud, Blueberry Muffin, SAD Afgani
The plants are still stretching quite a bit right now, with some of them naturally more than others. So we placed something under the smaller plants to ensure they all receive the same amount of light.
Day 33:
First fertilization: EC 1.1, ~60 mg/L nitrogen.
Purpose: Mild feeding to observe plant reactions.
Day 35+:
Observation: Slight interveinal chlorosis (yellowing between leaf veins).
Response: Added 0.25g of Epsom salt per liter of water.
Change: Epsom salt now added with every watering.
Day 36:
Light fertilization again: EC 1.2, 77 mg/L nitrogen.
Adjustment reason: Increased nitrogen as lower leaves started yellowing due to small (1L) containers.
Plant Note: SexBud
Issue: Developed male pollen sacs again, as in the previous grow.
Action: Pollen sacs were removed; the plant will be monitored.
Next Step: If more male flowers appear, the plant will be removed.
BOTAN1ST Transplanting Makes a Difference
- Our little test subject, SexBud, was the first to move into a 3.5L pot — and as you can see, she bounced back beautifully! Lush, green, and full of life.
- By Day 50, the benefits of transplanting are crystal clear — she’s thriving! 🌿
- There’s just nothing like fresh soil — the plants absolutely love it. 💚
Feeding Strategy
- For the next round, we’ll start increasing EC levels and nutrient dosage a bit earlier.
- Still, we prefer to slightly underfeed rather than risk overfeeding — better safe than sorry!
Group Transplant
- In Week 6, all remaining plants were moved into 3.5L pots.
- Each one got a boost with dolomite lime, worm castings, and perlite to keep them happy and healthy.

BOTAN1ST All the plants are looking noticeably greener this week. SexBud (front, left) showed some signs of a slight calcium deficiency earlier on—we’re not sure why—but it seems to have resolved itself. Of course, the damaged leaves remain, but that’s just part of the process. We’ll see where things go from here.
On another note, the Blueberry Muffin (front, mid) is living up to its name—it’s not just a hint, but a clear and unmistakable blueberry scent. Really impressive!

BOTAN1ST The plants are still looking beautifully green and are slowly but surely ripening. The buds are getting denser and stickier by the day—just the way we like it. Radical and Challah are starting to show a hint of color now, which is super exciting. It’s like watching nature paint in slow motion. Everything’s progressing nicely... fingers crossed they keep behaving!
The plant showed a strong tendency to grow straight upwards with large internodal spacing, and then suddenly exploded into dense bud production with barely any leaves. It really stood out in this grow—rock-hard buds everywhere, and almost no foliage. The weight of the buds got so extreme that the plant could barely support itself toward the end. Definitely a top-tier strain when it comes to yield.
In terms of effects and aroma, though, nothing particularly memorable. The smell was fairly neutral and the high was average at best. Still, purely for harvest quantity and structure, this one is a winner.

Radical Juice unfortunately didn’t show the expected purple coloration in the buds,
which was a bit of a letdown. The typical juicy smell and flavor that this strain is known for also didn’t really come through in our grow. That said, the plant itself grew very healthily and produced some nice-looking buds overall.

This plant stayed the smallest out of all six.
It had a very compact and attractive structure, with full, lush foliage. Overall, it was a strong and sturdy plant with thick stems and a solid build. Unfortunately, it didn’t offer much in terms of aroma or effect—nothing particularly noteworthy in that regard.

The Afghani showed noticeably better resin production compared to the other varieties.
Its structure was a bit looser overall, with slightly fluffier buds and longer, narrower leaves. There was a faint citrus note in the aroma, but nothing particularly strong or memorable. A solid plant, but not one that stood out beyond the trichome coverage.

Blueberry Muffin is an interesting strain.
In the early weeks of flowering, it had a strong, unmistakable blueberry aroma—really noticeable and quite impressive. Unfortunately, that scent faded completely by the end of the cycle. When vaporizing or smoking it pure, a hint of the aroma still comes through, but very faintly. Still, it’s a unique strain and definitely one we’ll be growing again.

We just haven’t had much luck with SexBud.
Once again, the plant ran into some nutrient issues and ended up producing a few male flowers. The growth was underwhelming overall, and unfortunately, the effect and flavor didn’t really make up for it either.
