Hempcules WEEK 2 (Day8-14) So far, everything is going splendidly. The plants are growing quickly and vigorously, and they are making a good impression in every way.

Hempcules WEEK 3 (Day15 - 21) Everything is going according to plan so far. I intend to top the plants on a manifold during the week. I'm waiting until the shoots are large enough for me to grab them with my scissors. My VPD level is at 0.9kPa and the light intensity is approximately 300PPFD.

Hempcules WEEK 4 (DAY 22-28) The plants are growing good. They are receiving plenty of light as they share a tent with older plants. Therefore, I always try to place them in areas with less light intensity. The mainfolding has been handled quite well, and both plants are now growing two strong and evenly balanced shoots each.

Hempcules WEEK 5 (DAY29-35) I have already topped the plants for the second time. I plan to repeat this process once or twice more in the coming weeks. Overall, they are looking good. They have always taken a bit longer to recover from the shock of topping, but I like their general growth pattern.

Hempcules WEEK 6 (Day 36-42) I have now trained my plants to develop eight shoots and plan to top them once more. Each time, they need a good recover, but overall, I’m quite satisfied.

Hempcules WEEK 7 (Day 43-49) I have topped both of my plants for the fourth time, and by now, each has developed 16 evenly distributed shoots. I'm deliberately keeping my plants small because I currently have limited space, though that will change. A repotting into larger pots is definitely planned—perhaps I’ll even let them grow on the balcony temporarily during the summer months. I’m not sure yet. At the moment, I’m experimenting a bit, trying to achieve a nicely balanced growth until I have enough space to repot them. I’m not ruling out another topping, though it will depend entirely on the setup I decide to continue growing them in. Otherwise, they look very healthy, although I get the feeling that they don’t particularly like the heavy pruning. Perhaps for this strain, LST might be the better approach—but that’s just a guess.

Hempcules WEEK 9A This week, not much really happened. I'm always waiting to have enough space for repotting. Other than that, the two are making a very good impression. They're getting a bit too much light at the moment, but I'm trying to keep it under control.

Hempcules WEEK 9 (Day 57-63) I have placed my two plants in 7L pots within my watering pot prototype. They have handled the repotting very well, and in their fresh bed of Allmix, they seem to be thriving. I will probably put the plants on my balcony temporarily, since I don’t want to adjust my light cycle for them yet. I’m still unsure how I’ll handle flowering, but for now, I’ll let them continue growing and try to maintain their even shape.

Hempcules Week 11 My two plants are thriving beautifully. I'm planning to increase the pot volume to 25 liters and then gradually push them into the flowering phase. After much deliberation, I’ve now decided to finish growing the two plants together in the tent. I had originally started them as a side project some time ago, and wanted to hold off on initiating flowering until the last Runtz Automatic was out of the tent. For a short time I considered finishing the plants out on the balcony and starting something new in the tent instead—but ultimately, I found it a shame to move such impressive plants outside. So now I’m growing these two plants out to be very large. I’m really looking forward to seeing the first flowers. Thanks to frequent topping, they've developed a very bushy growth structure, which I must say, I really like.

Hempcules WEEK 12 On the last day of last week, I switched my lights to 12/12. Before that, I had been consistently pruning the plants and then moved them into large 25L pots with Biobizz Allmix soil. They’re really thriving in it. There's no sign of flowering yet, but I wasn’t expecting that just yet... Thanks to the extended vegetative phase, the two plants have developed truly stable and strong structures, which I’m now sending into the flowering stage with full force. Unfortunately, I have to restructure my tent a bit due to the height—otherwise, it probably won’t work. But aside from that, I think this is going to be a great grow.

Hempcules WEEK 13 Both plants have now entered the flowering phase. A large number of pistils have already developed. So far, I’ve managed to maintain an even height, but the plants are currently in the stretch phase and could still shoot up significantly. I’m hoping for compact and balanced growth, as the vertical space in my setup is limited. I’ve increased my light intensity to around 700 PPFD. As a result—and due to the dehumidifier—the temperature in the grow room has risen slightly, but it remains within an acceptable range. The plants are currently watered every two days, with fertilizer added once a week. To improve air exchange, I pump fresh intake air into the tent every 30 minutes for 30 minutes. The coming weeks are bound to be exciting—I’m really looking forward to seeing how things turn out

Hempcules WEEK 14 I’m thrilled. The plants are developing beautifully. They’ve gained a good bit in height again, but the canopy has become exceptionally even and bushy. Thanks to the long training, many strong shoots have grown, and both plants have a massive stem and impressive root system. They’re slowly beginning to give off a light scent as well. A very sweet cannabis aroma is already noticeable. I believe this will become one of their key characteristics in the future. Due to their height, I had to remove my internal dehumidifier and now use it as an intake dehumidifier. That way, I’m also able to further reduce the humidity in my grow space. I only fertilized once this week because I repotted the plants into fresh Allmix a few weeks ago, so the soil is still very rich in nutrients. The leaves have a healthy color and the plants are generally in great condition. Next week, I’ll raise the VPD and begin fertilizing twice a week. Other than that, I’ll leave the plants to continue growing undisturbed and hope all my shoots soon develop fully into blossoms.

Hempcules WEEK 15 This week was unfortunately riddled with a few hurdles. I moved into a new apartment, and the relocation gave my plants quite a shake-up—though fortunately, neither of them sustained any notable damage. I had to adjust the climate control at the new location first, which led to slightly higher temperatures at times. Thankfully, everything has now settled back into rhythm. I had to hang my lamp even higher since the middle shoots were getting too much light. Also, I didn’t water the plants for two days prior to the move to reduce weight—after all, I had to carry the whole thing myself. 😉 So no, it wasn’t a perfect week, but I’m optimistic it won’t have too big an impact. Starting this week, I’ve added “Green Sensation” by Plagron to my nutrient plan. I’ll apply it once a week beginning from the third week of flowering. Hopefully, over the next two weeks, the tent will bloom with the abundance I’ve been waiting for. The plant on the left is growing a bit more vigorously but is overall not quite as tall. In general though, both plants are evenly thriving. I’m looking forward to the photos coming soon!

Hempcules WEEK 16 I haven’t changed much over the past week. So far, everything is still going very well. At the moment, I’m dealing with some high temperatures, but it’s manageable. As a result, water consumption has increased slightly. I think the next two weeks will bring fullness to my buds. They’re already developing a lot of trichomes, and the aroma is becoming more and more intense.

Hempcules WEEK 17 Nothing special this week. I increased the fertilizer and water again, but otherwise didn’t do much. Slowly, the tent is starting to fill out a bit more, although the buds on the right-hand plant are growing slightly smaller than those on the left. However, both are rich in resin. The flowers are covered in trichomes. I think this strain is probably well-suited for hash production. I estimate at least three more weeks until harvest. I’m curious to see what kind of yield they’ll deliver.

Hempcules WEEK 18 This week I gave my plants a full boost. I cranked up my lamp to 950 PPFD and significantly increased the amount of water and nutrients. The plants are really thirsty and need almost 5 liters a day, although I only water every third one with plain water. Otherwise, I alternate daily between Green Sensation and the BioBizz line. I also did a heavy defoliation to improve air circulation and direct all the energy into the buds. And it's working really well. The buds are getting thicker, more resinous, and some are already starting to swell. The smell in my tent is becoming more and more fruity. I'm super excited to finally try this terpene monster. I think the harvest will be in a maximum of two weeks. Right now, the trichomes are still quite clear. It's getting more exciting by the day. I can't wait for the harvest!
