Josh9260 Shii, going strong. Been the easiest start i've ever had. First time using synthetics and its definitely more my style, although i do want to do organic growing as my main style, just thought i'd give synthetics a go 💪 😋. No nutrient burn, i think it will be an all around perfect grow. Hoping to grt at least an ounce per plant. Feel free to guess the end weight results in the comments over the coming weeks. Josh9260 Things are still easy going, have noticed some very minimal deficiency in the lower leaves but was quickly fixed after a feed. I will be slightly increasing the feed. Water schedule has been every 2 days but considering its a 3gal pot that will quickly turn to everyday during flower 🌼 🌸. Excitement grows with each check in, i can't wait.

Josh9260 I thought about topping but i think its a bit late for that now as it will flip into flower any day now. Bought a new vivosun clip on fan to replace my old one that doesn't even oscillate anymore. Plants lookin a lil ugly in these photos but thats because they are due for a water, and i also defoliated a couple days ago.

Josh9260 Foolishly added calmag when i saw a minor deficiency, but it was too much, as seen on yhe leaves. The zkittlez is a trooper though and has taken no hits from overfeeding, both of them are starting to come right. Grandmommy purple flowering really quickly, way ahead of zkittlez even though zkittlez has always been the healthier plant. If plant health isn't stable in a couple more days, i will give them both a flush with a flush solution and go from there.

Josh9260 Pretty smooth sailing this week although i did have some daddy-long-leg spiders suddenly show up. Trying to be nice and get it out of my tent without killing it but then i ended up snapping a branch on the zkittlez plant, albeit small. So i decided to kill all of them from now on. Weird pigmentation on a couple GMP leaves its not a dire problem, just curious. Plants looking droopy because i just took the photos after a water, but the photos of the plants looking better are from a few days ago. So far i have been happy with how its going. I will be giving the plants a flush period of 1 week, i will need to look into if 2 weeks is better, or someone can let me know here. I can tell the flowers are going to be decently sized and hopefully potent, i just need to keep the plants healthy all the way to harvest. Minimal smell from the tent, standard weed smell, no strain specific smells yet.

Josh9260 Things are good, the buds are sizing up at a good rate, although the zkittlez is quite a bit slower so j will leave the GMP in a little longer because i dont have a drying tent due to limited space. The GNP is using up quite a bit of nitrogen as the leaves have been rapidly fading over some time. Its bounced back fairly well after being fed with unnecessary calmag, but after the flush i didn't think to add more nitrogen in 😓 because it was right around flower time, i will add a little bit of veg nutes in the next feed just to satisfy me 🤣 im not 100% sure it even needs the nitrogen at this point, im just not liking how fast the leaves are fading. Both plants are healthy, they are both praying, even the GMP which has been droopy for quite some time has even started to pray, it seems to have enjoyed the heavier bloom feed. I'm baffles by the developing smells in the tent, there is a mild but fairly noticeable smell of sweet berries, and its not even an undertone smell, it is just berry goodness. I can't wait to update you all on the smells next week 😋

Josh9260 Adding a little bit of veg nutrients as i said i would last week had done the job, didn't add too much nor too little. Gave the girls some water last night t. Should i train the branches so the lower buds in the branches get more light? I'll probably end up doing so anyway. Zkittlez plant is smelling slightly sour and also sweet...like skittles 🤣 true to its name which is what we all want when choosing strains. GMP smells more musky than anything but does have hints of sweetness. Each plant receives roughly 1 liter of water as it seems to do the plants well without overdoing it, i do still want to get an autopot setup so i don't have to worry about watering issues which i had on my last tun which went terribly (that diary is on my profile if you are curious). So yeah, its been good, i'm happ, the GMP buds are going to be very thick and zkittlez a modest size but i believe the taste will make up for that. Zkittlez has a more spaced out internodal spacing while on the other hand, GMP is extremely tight and just absolutely killing it with the development. Josh9260 I guess the grow is doing okay. The zkittlez plant that has suspiciously small buds for the amount of time its been flowering and compared to GMP. I noticed some possible seed sacks on the zkittlez and then also GMP, i cut off a small lower bud on the GMP to get a closer look and when i opened up the sack it looked like an extremely small serd like 1/10 the size of a fingernail. I could be wrong in assuming that the plants hermed but i doubt it. My guess is thag the zkittlez plant hermed along the way at some point and pollinated GMP. The zkittlez was a freebie and i couldn't find the breeder so its kinda par for the course. The seed development is very slow so by the time the girls will be cut down, the seeds probably wont be mature but I've never had herms or done any breeding work so i have no clue. Im not thsr upset just a little peeved that i didn't notice sooner.

Josh9260 Things are stable. Just waiting for the trichomes to mature as they are barely milky from what i see and not a spot of amber as well. I plan to cut the girls down in roughly a week.

Josh9260 Well, this girl surprisingly enough ended up being the prettiest out of the 2, it started developing faint purple around week 8? I'd say, and with each passing day the purple began to spread and deepen in colour, its more of a light purple like magenta but has a hint of red to it on the buds. I can't wait to see how this beauty of a girl tastes, i'll make sure to cure these flowers specifically as i'm more intrigued by that skittles smell and i want it to develop more.
