Krisis The very beginning of this diary with be lacking. Had a lot going on over the past weeks and just didn’t keep good records. I do know she sprouted 02/22/25 and she was popped directly into a 1 gallon of happy frog/perlite. Decided to go for a bigger pot to start with and see how that went. There’s times I don’t even have pictures at all. It’s obvious to me that keeping these diaries is important to keep me on track. So, yeah.. better late than never. I’ve wanted to grow GDP since before I ever popped my first seed. I hope this will be a visually appealing example.

Krisis This is when she was 5 days old. Didn’t take pictures at end of full week. I remember the conditions at the time were shit. Was struggling to keep it warm and the humidity was too low. Growth wasn’t great really then, so not too much missed. My light was a jack ass as usual. The stem was stretching like mad with the thing being almost full blast and at like 12-13 inches away. Insanity. I was only giving plain ph water every few days, as she wasn’t in a tiny pot.

Krisis This was mid week 2. Things warmed up a bit- still not where they should have been. Humidity got better too at about 50%. I had also given her some karma which I have to say, she seemed to really like and she started growing a lot almost immediately after having it. Seems like she stopped trying to stretch to the light as much too. I guess getting taller actually got her to a high enough intensity.

Krisis Okay. We are about to get on track now. This week will get us current and in real time. 03/14/25 made her 3 weeks. She had been topped which you can see in the first pictures. 4th node. 3/16/25. She is getting her first real npk feeding. She had previously had some liquid karma, a few waterings back. She’s already branching out and skipped a 5 leaf node. She’s went from 1 to 3 to to 7 and now 9. Never seen 9 so early on. This girl seems like she’s gonna be a little beast. She has a few friends and looks like a mammoth in comparison haha. I honestly haven’t taken the best care of her these past weeks. Lots had been going on and then I got pretty sick. I’m on the mend now though and updates will, or should stay on track now. Okay, that’s it til the regularly scheduled update. Thanks for loookin ✌️

Krisis 03/27/25. Week 4 A few days late with this but on purpose. Wanted to just get her and her friend Han on the same day update. Long story short, didn’t have things I needed to transplant into the bigger pot size I wanted, so she went a step up into a 2 gallon bucket for now. She was getting shit looking in the 1 gallon and I assumed it was because she needed a transplant. I forgot to get pictures with Han, but I got it for this. Watered her in thoroughly, and slowly, until run off- to make sure she was fully saturated. Next water I will give her nutrients as it looks like she’s definitely needing them. I took off some lower leaves that got in the way of watering. I also had topped her again and plan on doing some lst after she’s settled in. She looks more perky today, but definitely got even more shit going on with lower leaves, so that feeding can’t come soon enough. Her little roots were so cramped and dry when I transplanted her that I didn’t wanna just hit them with nutrients and risk burning. Think that catches us up for now ✌️✌️

Krisis 04/12/25. Start of week 6. This thing is rather large.. especially considering I’m not treating her very well atm. She needs to get into not shit soil for sure. She still looks pretty good and growing considering. I did top her and put in some lst clips, but yeah.. really need to get it together and get her straightened out. Life keeps happening.

Krisis 04/24/25. Somewhere in week 7. Might make it in time- flipping her in week 8. Not sure. She still isn’t where I’d like her to be health wise, but she has exploded with growth. She even has a couple of leaves that are getting a more normal colored green. Shes even started praying. I finally quit bsing around and got her transplanted into new soil that I mixed dry organic fertilizer into. I think it was like 3 days ago. I watered her in with some kelp. Her soil felt like it was getting kinda dry this morning so I gave her water with kelp again and my water is way high on the alkaline side. I know apparently ph isn’t a huge deal supposedly in organics, but I think at like 8.5+ ph.. that’s a bit much. I added 15 ml molasses to the mix and it took the ph down to 7- hopefully that’s good enough. I really gotta pick up something to lower ph cuz I don’t wanna be using molasses all the time just to give water. I also put some mykos on the roots and in the hole she went into when I transplanted her. I know it’ll take a little time for the nutrients to get broken down, but just the new soil, I think, is helping her a lot already. Haven’t seen her pray in idek how long. Think I covered everything I can think of for now… aside the fact that I have no idea wtf I’m doing with these dry nutrients LOL ✌️

Krisis 05/01/25. Day 1 flower. Its time. Got her healthy enough to line up with week 8. Pretty happy about that. Man she’s looking great now. What a turn around. Now let’s hope she stays this way. I know the organics take some time to get broken down, but I’m pretty sure something must already be happening. That or fresh good soil is just working wonders. Since I loaded her soil up with stuff when I transplanted her, I’m just giving water for right now. Been trying to keep her soil moist for the microbes and stuff. It’s weird for me because I’m used to letting my soil dry out more. Same as with Slurricane, I just hope I don’t overdo it for them. I’m really hoping she doesn’t stretch too much, as she’s already close to 2 ft at flip time haha. I did also add a few more lst clips a few days ago to some branches that stuck up a bit above the rest.

Krisis 05/09/25. Week 2 flower. She’s doing amazingly well. Still can’t believe the turn around on this one. I’ve still been doing some training but now that the buds are starting to develop, I’m going to chill. Not to mention I broke a branch. It seems to have healed just fine, but now it’s going to remain a bit lower than the rest. Oh well. She’s showing her little buds pretty fast. Definitely one of the faster I’ve seen so far. I’ve noticed a bit of what looks like magnesium deficiency on a few leaves so I’ve been giving her some calmag. I give her some silica.. when I remember and some kelp now and then. I’ll be top dressing her tomorrow with some Gaia green bloom.

Krisis 5/22/25. Week 3 flower. So ever since I did that top dress I’ve apparently gotten an outbreak of fungus gnats. Ugh. A place called sticky lid sent me some samples awhile back so I popped those on my plants. Holy shit there’s tons of the things on them. They’re double sided sticky trap things that go right above your soil and cover the top of it and sit on the pot sides. Never really had a gnat problem before. Guessing it’s because I’m keeping the soil moist because of the organic/microbes. Never did organic before either .. so maybe I’m keeping it too moist? Idk. Anyhow, just giving water currently, but once a week I’m giving a mixture of clean kelp, big bloom, calmag OAC, and unsulfered blackstrap molasses. Next week I’m going to add some roots organic terp tea bloom to that as well. Still some off coloring on leaf edges which I’m not sure now as to why. Thought it was a magnesium issue, but woulda thought the calmag OAC woulda remedied that. Now I’m wondering if it’s maybe just from having had too much N maybe previously. Either way I’m not going to keep doing stuff and wind up making things worse by trying to over correct. Just going to keep an eye on her to see if it progresses or stays this way or what. Oh, I also cleared out some leaves around her middle area and lowers. Otherwise I think she’s doing well and buds seem to be developing nicely.

Krisis 06/06/25. Week 5 flower Missed a week because of GD being a dick. Buds are really getting sizable now. Not tons of frost. Hoping that changes. She’s starting to get some colors. Not sure if just genetics or deficiency.. Just giving plain water currently and the mix up top once a week. Did top dress with GG bloom like 2 weeks ago I believe.

@Schnabeldino, Thanks ☺️. I felt bad training her so much when she wasn’t in very good shape, but seems like maybe it’ll all work out

Krisis, I re-use my soil but amend with compost each time. Then when growing I add Recharge.
Krisis
Krisiscommented2mo ago
@Natrona, I think the peat breaking down in it caused acidity- then nutes added more. Should have added lime. Anyway, surprise (haha)I messed some shit up! LOL

@MrGoonai, Well, I got a new bigger pot for her, as well as new soil. Going to get her into it and let her get acclimated before flipping. Probably a week or so

@MrGoonai, GD strikes again. I remember replying to this but I don’t see it now. Ugh lol.. I’m just trying to get her a bit more healthy and it’ll be done. Hopefully within the week
