What is a Shiskaberry anyway?

Tazard This girl must like a lot of light I noticed towards the end of the week she had stretched quite a bit where as the other two are still normal size short and stocky. I lowered the light a little hoping that she would stretch anymore I suspect I will have to support her next week until she strengthens up.

Tazard Well I had to support her. I moved the support for the second set of pictures and you can see just how stretchy she is she really can’t support herself.

Tazard Still lanky and needing support. She is developing very nicely. She looks great. I don’t think she gets very tall so I will probably veg her until she is 16 or 18 inches.

Tazard She’s off and running now. She has a branch that is taller than her top. I’m hoping she will end up with two dominant tops. Thanks for following along.

Tazard She’s starting to get her branching on! I plan to veg her out for a couple more weeks until she gets about 20”.

Tazard She looks great and she has filled out quite a bit this past week. Lots more than I thought she would! I’ll give her another week of veg and then get her into flower tent.

Tazard She looks awesome now. I’ll get her in the flower tent and then she can steal the show! I’ll scrog her at 16” so I’ll be bending her down to the 16” mark.

Tazard She’s going to the flower tent on day 52.

Tazard I’m trying to fill up a 2’ x 2’ area with her. I will scrog her a little bit but since she is genetically a short plant I can’t let her go horizontally much or she won’t make it up to my light level.

Tazard She has done a great job filling up the area. I hope she gets tall enough for the good light (light is on a mover and cannot be lowered due to the other plants.

Tazard She’s really looking great and starting to set some buds! I’ll give her a good defoliation to open her up and let some light through. If she can fill in her runs she could be a really nice yielder.

Tazard She’s starting to fill-in and look like a really nice plant. I think she’s going to fill up her area just fine. I’ve spread her around some so everything can get equal amounts of light. I’ve done a little defoliation too.

Tazard I’m still not sure what a shiskaberry is. I do know they seem to fill out really nice on their buds. I can’t wait to see what she does when she gets into the PK boost.

Tazard Oh boy look at those buds! She really smells strongly of blueberry I love it! I guess next week we will start flush I can’t wait to taste this girl.

Tazard She started fading early in the week so I went on and started flushing her. I will plan to chop her at the end of next week. She has an overpowering smell of blueberry. I can’t wait to taste this girl!

Tazard She is bursting with terpenes! I pressed a 6.6g puck and I got a 1.74g return at 220F (26%) my mold is made to hold about 15g so I suspect I lost some recovery to the filter bag. Just learning on the press but I’m getting wonderful results and returns around 25%.
