Batata Non hydrated seed directly into hydrated pellet, three days in the dark then moved to light. Not sure I´m enjoying this fluffy white thingy in the base of the stem, but lets see how it goes the next couple days. And I guess it is saved. First of all good genetics, others have died quite fast of damping, this one held on quite healthy for a while. Used a cotton bud moist with 1 part vinegar 2 parts water to gently mop out the mold, then covered with a pinch of neutral substract (sphagnum and perlite) to help suck excess moist and make a barrier to fungus.

Batata And so she goes to the vase, looking good so far.
Batata This is sort of an experimentation, since i located them by the window, not the most sunny place. Probably why she is growing a little tall and of course, pending towards the light. Will see how it goes and if I will be able to use that same spot for future crops.
