zyn199 First Grow. Getting the setup ready in the last 2 weeks. Always wanted to grow my own buds. I choose the Northern Light for my first experience since I really like the taste of the strain and it is kind of old school like me and after checking some diaries here I decided to go with NL since it seems to be beginner friendly. Germination: I prepared the Light Mix with Perlite (75/25) yesterday in 2,5l pots. Before putting the seeds in the soil I sprayed the soil with plain water pH 6,5 100ml each. The seeds are placed in small holes 0,5-1cm and covered with very little soil. All four seeds popped on Day 4 and everything is looking good so far. Germination rate is 100%, thanks RQS I guess ;)

zyn199 It was a pretty good week with much to learn. Made good progress on 3 of the plants but No1 seems to be dead. Really not sure what happened to her. I saw the first small roots at the bottom of the pots. Planning to repot at the end of next week.

zyn199 Making good progress and changed to 18l soft pots on day 18. Maybe it was a bit too late?! I don't know. Roots are looking healthy and plenty. Looking forward to the next weeks. It was tough 2 days for the plants after the repotting.

zyn199 Really good grow and no real issues as far as I can tell so far. I installed the trellis net on day 31. Did some defoliation and LST with the net. Figured that the Northern Light is far from ideal for the net because of its compact size, but I think I managed well and pretty happy with the results. Will switch to flower in the next week.

zyn199 Switched to 12/12 light cycle on day 36 Overall a pretty calm week. The plants took the training pretty good. Had to adjust a few times and try to open up the canopy for a few of the lower bud sites. Growth is pretty equal on all 3.

zyn199 All 3 Plants made a really good stretch in the first week of flower. Again super happy with the progress so far and no issues as far as I can say. Added 2 small fans on the bottom to help with airflow. Humidity is a bit a higher as I would like, but I guess it works for now. Watering every 2 or 3 days with 2l+ per plant. Nutrients level seem to be okay. I cut some clones last week and at least one looks pretty good so far. Replanted it in bigger pot and keeping outside now for the last weeks of summer. Just trying things.

zyn199 The stretch is finally over and I adjusted a few things. RH is a bit too high, but I have to take it how it is. Nice development of Flowers. After heavy Defoliation there are 10 Budsites on each plant (left) I took away all the small ones under the canopy. https://youtu.be/lpJDAhKKuSQ

Hey growmie, im growing the same strain. How long did it take to show flower? Im on week 6 (8 from seed) and my plant is just busting out. But i defoilate and strip it out next week its all back lol
