Deep purple

Rory420 A change of tactics for this grow. Just the one plant in a 7 gallon pot with extra veg time. This will give me floor space to add a dehumidifier. Humidity was way to high during flowering on my last grow. I’m using the 4 way LST again. I LIke how this gives you a symmetrical plant to work with. I’ll top once more and see where we’re at, I may have an attempt at a SCROG but we’ll see how it goes. Happy growing.

Rory420 She’s growing well. I can see roots at the bottom of the pot now so into the final pot tomorrow. I haven’t fed any nutes yet, first feed of biobizz grow and root juice when I transplant and water in the new pot. Happy growing.

Rory420 I’ve been away so no photos for week 3 she was topped on day 23 and then left to recover although the topping didn’t seem to slow her down at all. I’ve let the 4 new tops grow out a little and then started LST on day 28.

Rory420 I’ve continued to LST the four main stems out towards the edge of the pot and once the third node started growing on each of them they were topped again. That was on day 33.

Rory420 More LST this week. She’s getting nice and wide now,one more topping and I’ll let her start to grow up and gain height ready for the SCROG. Happy growing.

Rory420 She’s had her last topping this week. I’ve now got 16 mains. I’ll let these grow out a bit and then think about switching to flower. I’m still unsure about the scrog net, I’m thinking a dense indica isn’t the best choice for a first scrog attempt.

Rory420 With it being Christmas there’s not a lot to report this week. She’s doing well though, so far she’s been lovely to grow.

Rory420 I was away for four days this week and came back to a much larger plant. She’s stretched two inches in the first week of flower and was in need of some LST. Shes looking better now everything is level(ish) again. The plan for the next couple of weeks is to keep on top of the LST and keep her as level as possible until the initial stretch is over. Once the pistols come in I’ll stop with the crappy pink photos. Happy growing.

Rory420 shes growing well. Any stretch this week has been lost through LST. I tied her down again today and now she’s nearly filling the tent. I’ll try to leave her alone now for a few days. The smell got stronger this week, the tents starting to smell beautiful. Let’s hope I’m soon seeing some beautiful buds. Happy growing.

Rory420 Pistils and trichs have appeared and she’s suddenly got very thirsty, I’ve upped the water quantity twice this week. She’s gained some height as well. Now that the major LST is finished, she’s be left to come up and has grown 2 inches. A few more days and she should be done stretching. I’m looking forward to see what the next few weeks brings. I love watching the plant change daily. Happy growing.

Rory420 The stretch has finished. I’m just watching her do her thing now and hopefully she’ll fatten up nicely.

Rory420 some defoliation done this week. A few leaves every other day. The last time I did it I went overboard so a few at a time from now on. I’m not seeing any purple yet. I had thought about dropping the temp in the last two weeks but I don’t want to hurt the yield for the sake of some purple buds. I’ll let nature take its course. Happy growing.

Rory420 Not a lot to report really. I’ve added a de-humidifier to the grow for the last few weeks. That’s brought the humidity % down from the 50’s to the 40’s. I’m starting to dial things in a bit better now and I hope the results will follow. Happy growing.

Rory420 Just a couple of weeks away from harvest now and apart from some slight nute burn on the leaf tips, the plant looks well. The buds are covered in frost and the smells really got stronger. It smells very dank and earthy. Can’t wait to smoke it. Happy growing.

Rory420 I’m starting to see amber trichs on the lower sugar leaves but none on the buds. She can’t be far away now. Next feed will be molasses and then plain water after that. Happy growing.

Rory420 Lights off: day 125 Trimmed: day 126 Dry: day 132 I have to add pepper to the taste of these buds. You can taste it when you nibble on the sugar leaves and it’s the overriding taste when you smoke it. This is a lot stronger than the 8 ball kush and defo a night time smoke with a strong body stone. It hits you quickly and moves through the body fast. My wife’s already raving about this strain for her back pain so I’ll be growing her again sometime soon.
