inthegrove Missed the week one flower update but really not much to report.
Ethos Hash Plant #1 appeared to be a boy so I wacked him. #'s 2 and 3 are both ladies and are both different in terms of structure. The card that came with the pack says the genetics are Kush was crossed with an OG for stretch/vigor... I'm wondering if #2 is more OG and #3 is more kush. Time will tell.
I will do some defoliating to clear up the interior of the plants a bit before it becomes very sticky. Growing weed is great!

inthegrove EHP #1 is probably two weeks older than #'s 2 and 3. It was previously in red cup, I recently transplanted it. Not sure about the red on the stems, whether that was caused by lack of nutrients/stress from before or is genetic.

inthegrove Transplanted #'s 2 and 3 yesterday. I may trim the lower growth on #1 soon, I may not. We will see. I plan to take cuttings from each of the plants eventually, these are M/F seeds, even if there is a male(s) I will likely keep one male cutting and one female cutting.
I ordered stands and saucers for #2 and #3... so they won't be on the floor for much longer!

inthegrove It's really like week 7. My wife and I got stranded while traveling w/ canceled flights thanks to storms in the US... thankfully brother came thru and watered the babies while I was away.
I did a slight defoliation on all 3 plants on the lower branches, cut some very small ones off at the bottom here and there.
It is interesting that #1 appears to be growing differently from #'s 2 and 3, both of which appear similar right now. I could see #1 turning into a single cola if it's a lady.... so I am not sure whether or not to top it yet. I would love to hear any opinions on that.
Soon I will try taking a clone from each, and will make sure I have at least 1 established from each before going to flower. I would kill any males but likely would make seeds in the future if I like the bud. I am waiting for plants to grow a bit larger first. Damn I love to grow!

inthegrove I did not update this journal for a few weeks as my basement flooded shortly after the last post and following the cleanup, I didn't get around to it. Now that everything is all good, I was able to update.
I took clones from each plant that I have. EHP #1 and #3's fan leaves are already sticky to the touch and have a slight smell. #2 is getting tall, I am trying to bend the tops. I am hopeful all three of these will be females. I hope that #'s 2 and 3 will be - I see the two white hairs on the top of each of those plants in the usual pre-flower spot. Fingers crossed.
I am going to switch them to 12/12 tomorrow, now that I have rooted clones in case any are keepers, This project has been fun so far. Hopefully females with sticky icky buds and leaves to come!!!
