Hello my friend, with a distance from 40 centimeters with a 300 watts lamp you can turn it on 100% without a risk. Your plants will thank you for it and they will eat those lumen like it is a all you can eat buffet!

Depends on its DLI,, my lights don't need to be at 100% to hit their target. 40% is good for the tent size and footprint of the light. Hang height has a role to play as well but if its always aorund the same height it can be ignored. Good Luck!
