z0so1337 This is my second grow, but first using synthetic nutrients. First grow was a complete failure, let's see how this one does.
The goal is to use cheap nutrients once the current one finishes (NPK Industries). Didn't take note of the strength, just EC. DLI 10.
Excited about the journey! Let's go!

z0so1337 I made a timelapse that failed and didn't take any pictures. She also grew very slowly for that period of time.
For the weeks that passed, the plant wasn't too happy and I figured it was the environment, so I took them to the tent.
Extra runoff. DLI 26. Decided to not top this plant, just defoliation and compare the results with the others.

z0so1337 I think the plants are happier than they were, but still kind of deficient. EC is coming out too high.
DLI 33.
z0so1337 Feels like I finally understood how the environment interacts with nutrient strength.
Plants have more air circulation and no longer too moist at night time. Plants have more light and increased temperatures. DLI 44.
Plants seem very happy with the new environment care and now feeding early morning as well.
She definitely has nutrient deficiencies but I can't say if it's my fertigation frequency, if my coco was unbuffered or the container size. I'll keep going as is.

z0so1337 It might be time to start dialing in the transition nutrients. She's doing well, but even with the bud sites forming, I don't see many pistils.
24/03: added kelp meal, microbes, molasses, humic acid and silica. some leaves could be suffering from wind stress so I dialed down the fan in the tent and switched position. Went from 1.7 to 1.55 EC in nutrient concentration.
25/03: no pistils just yet. older leaves slowly curl down, slightly yellow and die, I suspect is a mix of year-old coir that I haven't buffered (it was Canna), plus being in a 1gal pot. If it becomes a huge problem I might have to up pot. but really won't if all I'm losing is one or two leaves a week.
27/03: did another defoliation yesterday. obvious deficiency, trying to figure it out. I wanted to boost the nitrogen, but I might be using too much calcium nitrate leaving less space for micronutrients. they are in another fertilizer. I'll know within the next days.
29/03: could be PH issue too. PH Pen arrived today, so we'll know soon.

z0so1337 31/03: The solution I've been feeding wasn't really dissolving properly, now I've been warming the water and also using more micronutrients and a bit more magnesium. Excited to see if this one is gonna be all green. It looks better already! I mean, it looks like it didn't get worse. No pistils just yet. ???
01/04: Flushed, defoliated and lowered EC.
02/04: Will do an Epsom salt spray
04/04: PPM is already higher than inflow. It seems like she's getting happier the more I take care of her. I'll do a kelp tea foliar spray and lower the EC. No sign of flowers, still :t
06/04: Focusing on treating Mg deficiency, colors are getting more even.

z0so1337 I like where it's going, but wish she was already flowering. Still trying to figure out if magnesium deficency or light bleach. or both?
Big defoliation to end the week. MgSO4 foliar spray as well.

z0so1337 I've been neglecting her a bit. Flipping next week, as I have a photoperiod in the tent. Hopefully this will trigger this auto into flower. Also I think I have a light burn here.
