Skunk 2.0 Fast - Ganja Farmer Contest

Growpotkin This one has come up strong and fast. Planted in soil (Biobizz Allmix) after 48 hours and the seedling broke the surface after another 48. Pleased so far!

Growpotkin Picking up a bit of growth this week, also added a bit more soil (I like the Biobizz Allmix but it does compact a lot!). No problems so far. Thanks Ganja Farmer for the seeds!

Growpotkin Another good week: but so hot. I FIMed on Thursday (posting Sunday) and it seems to have had a good reaction. Slow but steady so far!

Growpotkin Strong growth despite the heat. The main cola has now been FIMmed twice. Won’t be able to do anything with it for two weeks, so hope it doesn’t get too huge. I’m aiming to keep it bushy. Thanks Ganja Farmers for the seeds!

Growpotkin Back home and a bit of a bummer. My plant sitter got held up and it’s not looking very happy. But I’m giving it a nice bath and we’ll see what happens! Figured I’d FIM again and switch to flower next week. Thanks Ganja Farmer!

Growpotkin Finally flowering! Glad to see so much growth. No problems at all this week. It’s responded super well to the fimming and defoliation. I’m now giving 2L of stale water every 2-3 days or so, alternate water and nutrients. On we go!

Growpotkin Very pleased with this week. Buds are forming well and some baby trichromes are appearing. Still plenty of vertical growth.

Growpotkin Not too much to report this week. Smell is picking up a bit and trichromes are developing nicely. Plenty of growth all around. No problems—everything looks happy.

Growpotkin Another good week. Loads of trichromes now, looking like it might be really frosty. Smell has kicked up a level as well—intense sweet skunk. The first few pistils are starting to turn brown. Other than that, no problems. So far this has been a very easy grow!

Growpotkin Wow. So the smell has been building in strength over the past few weeks, which is to be expected. This week the smell is so intense that it woke me up in the night from another room! Even my Rhino filter isn’t coping. So be warned: this is a super smelly strain. I’m hoping we can harvest before my wife goes nuts and chops it down. 😂 Other than the smell: good growth and no problems at all. This has been a really easy strain so far. Not exactly mega fast despite the name, but I’m not in a rush and obviously left it in veg for a while. I trimmed a pile of leaves this week to help keep it happy.

Growpotkin No plant problems this week. The extractor fan broke, which is very annoying, and so humidity had shot way up. I can only keep it in the 70s by leaving the tent wide open. Buds are fattening a bit and they look fairly dense and frosty. Plenty of orange pistils now but mostly clear trichromes. A few more weeks!

Growpotkin Got a replacement extractor fan to replace the cheap one I’ve had for a few years now, but the humidity is still pretty high. There’s plenty of bud growth going, but we’re at about 80% milky trichromes. No amber ones yet. I think I’ll chop in a week or two, so will probably start flushing shortly. Growpotkin Well, absolutely no fuss with this one. No nute issues, no bugs, no nothing. I have to admit that it wasn’t very fast, despite the name. I was really hoping for a larger yield especially for the pot size and the amount of veg time. For ease of growing I’d give this one a 10/10, but I’m much less impressed with the yield. It responded super happily to multiple FIMs in that it didn’t have any stress signs, but maybe I’d try just a straight grow next time.
