Hello fellow growers, Another week went by, and looking for the trichomes development every other day, I've noticed that the plants still have some bulking and maturing to do, so I gave another week of light feeding to them. The buds are looking really dense and the smell is delicious 😋 The phenotype #2 untill now had only leaves with the purple color but not that the buds are becoming mature, the calyxes are also turning in purple 💜 The #1 that I've harvested is now dry, trimmed and curing in mason jars :) I'll input the data with the others later. So the hubby has been growing this strain (in soil) for approx 9 weeks. It took some wearing him down but eventually after many batches of freshly baked cookies I finally convinced him to cut me a clone, and an apex clone at that. #truelove It took about 3 weeks to root (unintentionally caused a lock out by attempting to grow roots in the same water/nutrient mix we were giving the 5 wk plant) #lessonlearned She’s since recovered and has grown a beautiful root system. Let’s see where we end up

so the development on this lady has been VERY slow and has made very little bud production at all she also did not really stretch out at all from flower her buds are at the same stage at week 7 then the blackberry was at week 2 really , she is showing nor has all her life of any deficiencies what so ever , she has stay very short and stocky with good leave production " before i defoliated she was a real nice little bush " she smell amazing and the only was i can describe it when i touch her sugar leaves is exactly like chewing on the lemon "yellow" skittles sweet so can see exactly where the name came from for this strain. she as you would expect has not been drinking a great deal and i am still able too only feed her 8 pint of feed per week where as her sisters are taking 14 pints , but other than her staying small and not wanting too really produce yet she has been easy too grow even for a newbie such as my self and has been trouble free ,

A microbe product, PH going into the medium is around 6.5-6.8 and coming out is between 5.5-5.8, so something is acidifying it up. Also noticed the runoff last week was a bit higher at times. So lowered the feed down quite a bit, going in at 1.4EC vs 1.8 will bump it up to 1.5 and 1.6 in the next few weeks. I also added in a bit of a PK booster. nothing to crazy only 60ppm worth on a total allowance of 700PPM Lights now running at 100% with V1 spectrum, decided to go with 100% now vs after stretch, will see how it works out. Over all this was an awesome strain to grow and will deff be growing her again some day

This was my 1st photoperiod grow on growdiaries and I'm glad I tried these Fast flowering photoperiods for it. Big thanks to Heather and the Fastbuds team. I haven't managed to try the Tropicana Cookies auto yet so this photoperiod fast version was definitely a new adventure. She grew more squat and bushier then i was expecting and her shape really did remind me of pineapple express. To be honest she was great to grow. Because this grow was going so good I decided to switch back to photoperiods for the next few grows i just wish i had left her in veg for 1 more week. Finally at the swelling stage and growing out nicely , this lady has been a joy too grow , no decency's what so ever , she really did stretch in here flower stage going from the size of the Zkittlz plant into a plentiful branched beast she is today stacked with bud sites and let me tell you she smells absolutely amazing ! her buds look frostie already and are starting too swell lovely and there are plenty of them too ,

Today I top dressed everyone with a full strength feed of nature’s pride bloom, compost, added bacteria, kelzyme calcium and a handful of promix. This will be the last feeding for both the blackberry breaths. It looks like everyone else is going to go 9-10 weeks so they will get 1 more feeding. Either way I’m going to harvest everything at once so the bbb’s are going to get extra ripe. The frost on the one pheno is insane. Smells are amazing so far too. Will report smell after drying. I just grabbed a full organic nutrient line for use in my next run. I got more of the nature’s pride veg and bloom dry amendments, boogie brew tea, kelzyme xx calcium, EM1 microbes and method 1pps spray. I will also be using Alaska fish emulsion (5-1-1) worm castings, WOW mycorrhizae and a pre inoculated 50/50 coco promix blend. Seeds came in!!! They hooked it up fat too. I got the 12 dolato seeds I ordered plus Slurricane F1 x6 and puro loco x6. The puro locos are going to be used for outdoor and I might do a little pheno hunt of the slurricane this year. The F1 is supposed to be better or more likely to show genes from both parents. Can’t wait! So today I forgot to water and it really looks like it shocked them... they all drooped like crazy and yellowed out more. I got them all watered and raised the light to ease some of the stress. Worst time possible to forget a watering!!! Won’t let it happen again. I was reading that PPFD levels over 1000 require added co2 and my light is well above 1000 at 8”. That could also be another reason my plants yellowed out so quickly. Next round I’m going to up the nutes and get one of those bottles of co2 and see if they make a difference. I would have to keep my filter on a timer so it wouldn’t deplete so fast. Or just use it for the parts of my grow that doesn’t need a filter. I didn’t even need the filter until week 3-4 of flower. I cleaned the sock on my carbon filter and now it’s just sucking the life out of my tent. The humidity went from being too high to being too low. Going to lower the speed until the humidity is proper. This tent isn’t that old and that filter sock was disgusting. Going to try stablizing my RO water with a bit of snow in the winter and rain in the summer

For the last day of the year we treat ourselves to the story of a special little girl. Her name is Biscotti, her name already says it all about the potential of this young girl born in Holland with this beautiful Italian Strain Name, she is precious and full of style since conception. She looks like she was designed by Pininfarina who smokes joints. It's a bit as if Gianni Versace had dressed her, extravagant, provocative, truly flamboyant, if you have the patience to look at the thousand photos that I made clear that I literally couldn't stop taking. It's a journey I don't want to leave, especially when I'm in the middle of it. terpenes, please leave me there! She grew up quietly, with her small internodal distance you could see that she was beautiful even without flowers, but it was when she flowered that she truly gave her best. Already from the first weeks of flowering you can understand very very well that the girl has a bright color and she threw resin very early thanks to Power Buds, Sugar Royal and Green Sensation in my opinion. The flowers have an imposing shape, they really are beautiful little purple beasts just in the dry room, for a few days soon we will do an initial test and then we will wait to taste it without too much fresh taste. I’m about sure to have rated 10 stars the strain and all feeding 5 stars but i found the strain rated 9 stars and the feeding 4, not sure but almost sure. I often get sad when I cut it, I'm too sad to cut it, I always think I'll smoke it and everything, but it's so beautiful that it makes my heart ache to cut it. It's her life cycle, otherwise she would rot for goodness sake, it's a joke but I really have a moment of shock in her heart. She'll move on to the first vaporized one I guess. Technique used - She was worked with a. single topping cut but leaving the two branches lower than the cut, thus obtaining 4 main branches with the relative branches. I also did a bit of LST at the beginning but having space problems then I decided not to let it expand too much. Flowers are beautiful beasts for truly yummi. Fertilizers - We have to make a special mention of Plagron I wrote a review in this diary which only partially explains how good this line of fertilizers is. I feel like I saw with my own eyes the changes in the plants when I gave the additives, I really saw the plants push in resin and everything. For more information read the review, I don't like to be repetitive, I don't write the quantities, they are also in the diary and in any case very similar to those recommended by the manufacturer. Never exceed this with any fertilizer and always flush.
