Solid start to flower for these ladies... Starting this grow diary now and filling in as much as I can from the ~8 weeks before this point. I'll keep updating from now 'til harvest. Drip system has been working great, dialed back the feedings so I don't overwater and can give the top layer of coco a chance to dry out a little bit. Heavy defoliation tomorrow to clean up the canopy...

Hello Diary. We reached the end of the fifth farm, along with two Haze Berries, there was another Fat Banana plant that ended its journey a week earlier than the Haze Berries. Haze Berries have become record holders in terms of yield. A total of 185 g, with the larger Haze Berry # 1 yielding 105 g and the smaller Haze Berry # 2 yielding 80g. Definitely a record yield. I think I wrote and described more or less all the information, the amount of photos shows the whole cycle of plant development during each week so I wouldn’t spend too many words on it anymore. Here's how it all went since the last call. 05/12/2020 - Day 72. Harvest. I checked with a microscope and when most of the trichomes are milky and about 5% have turned brown it’s time to harvest, at least that’s the case in my case. After the last photo shoot, I cut off both plants at the very bottom of the stalk and hung upside down in a growbox to dry. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 23.4 degrees and 38% humidity. 17/12/2020 - Day 84. After 12 days of drying, I took the plants out and pruned the rest of the dry leaves. I put the dried flowers in jars, put in moisture fighters for better moisture regulation and for better curing. 31/12/2020 - Day 98. Tasting. Great smoke, fruity tropical flavor. This plant was really great. Beautiful structure, purple stems, dense sticky and stinky nugs. Super frosty and really did great overall. Super excited for the quality smoke. I left the two side branches on to allow the seeds to finish developing. Nice sativa side cross with Durban Poison and a nice Indica side cross with Big Bud 😎💪

End of week 4, great week. Nice healthy plants really filled the pots out. Have to stop LST due to no more space. Lights and genetics working great.

Hi Guys, Grow Diaries for whatever reason won't allow me to upload my complete harvest video which is a real bummer because I mainly do the videos for my YouTube channel but decided to also include them on grow diaries to give other growers who might be considering growing the same strain in the future. Helps give people an idea of what to expect when they grow it. But honestly I can't be bothered to re-edit it to fit to Grow Diaries setting which I don't even know what they are.... Didn't think they had any! Maybe it's the length of my video..... 🤔! I don't know, but I like to give growers a good description of the strain and smoke review. I hate it when I go to others peoples pages to have a look at a strain I'm thinking of growing and them not having hardly any pictures that properly show you the growth stages of the plants.... Really annoying. Which is why I chose to properly document mine to give you guys or try to give you guys the best view of my grows..... Day 43 of flower: This week was great again. Tied a few branches up that had fallen. All the ladies look and smell amazing. Afghan kush early harvest will be the first done for sure. 🔥💨✌️🏼💚

This week was a very cold week. 13 to 18 degrees during the day and at night like 10 to 13 degrees. Therefore the buds didn't swell properly. Luckly one Critical Kush is still swelling but the other one seems to have slowed down. It's oke, i knew this would happen and the kushes might not finish in time. Might harvest my Shamans at the end of the month. The kushes I will keep until half/end oktober. Since this is only a outside fungrow, I'm not making any effort to heat up the climate by putting heaters arround the plants. Critical Kushes are in their 3th week of flowering. Somehow GD minimalize the videos after putting 10pictures on the diary, Just click on the next picture and click on the right arrow to go to the videos. Have fun looking arround :)

Growing a little too tall for my room, but I think the stretch is pretty much done now. I super cropped 3 of the largest colas. Probably spoke too soon last week, PH dropped like a stone down to 4.5 a few days back. They had K and Mg lock out for maybe half a day. Stripped most of the lowest 10 leaves of nutrients. This is why defoliation is not the way to go, keep your leaves. They act as storage for nutrients and give you a buffer if PH lets you down 😁 It’s also pretty difficult to get a decent photo of the whole plants anymore 😕

Day 12F-19F (May 3rd - May 10th) (Day 13) Pots are still super heavy and I don’t see these things drying out anytime soon so we’ll see over the next few days. Still no signs of overwatering. (Day 14) I’m going to do a little lst. Better late than never and since the pots are saturated the stems are bendier. I noticed they were quite droopy during lights off but are praying by lights on. (Day 16) Man these things are filling out slow. I’m going to drop the light a few inches and see if that helps at all. Definitely no early trichs. (Day 19) So I haven’t had to water at all in the last 10 days and the pots are still quite heavy. Oddly enough, I still see no signs of overwatering. Perlite did it’s job I guess.

She's looking amazing 😍 I gave her some more LST sessions and she's reacting very nicely. I did cut the LST strings right after this photoshoot, she needs now to focus on building its preflowers.

12/4 4th week now, the girls are full on flowering mode, every day they are bigger and bigger. 14/4 Today water with 1050PPM and Run-Off was 1150PPM. They smell very sweet, and they are super frosty and sticky.

Week 9 , 2 More til harvest.

Day 43 Extreme growth, she is expanding all over I gave her the final 6L of preflowering nutrients, and I think I will be changing over to the full flower blend. I will change and clean the DWC before. PH solid yellow always, really great smell Day 44 Expansion everywhere, main grew about 5cm overnight the stretch is starting, her side limbs are reaching upward she is growing very well Day 45 Today she gets a huge haircut, 90% of those lower leafs and little larf branches were removed Her bud sites are forming very well She is consuming 3.5 litres a day right now The foliar health is incredible, you will notice she is at her max for nutrients, 700ppm is the ceiling it looks like Day 46 extreme expansion overnight after haircut The resin is already growing on the sugar leafs Day 47 The smell is so strong, I have never smelled something this strong from an auto in a tent before... smells like a photo grown outside Flowering is starting very nicely, her bud pistils are shooting out everywhere wanting pollen.. not gonna happen, no pollen anywhere nearby! PH dead on 6.0, yellow always The bud sites are stretching, like fastbuds said in their write up, this one takes a bit longer to veg, but is worth it! I can tell because the resin smells like straight diesel fuel Day 48 she is just exploding all over, her bud sites are doubling in size every day right now the legs are stretching, its amazing to see, grew 6cm overnight, she is drinking more, almost 5 litres gone in a day this is the most exciting part of the grow im my opinion, each day you can see real development. The resin is already growing so thick on this one. Day 49 Whenever Fastbuds gives guidelines on their strains, I make sure to read Sebastian's write up every time, multiple times. They always include beneficial grow tips that are facts. The reason why this plant is growing exceptionally well is because of Fastbuds strain specific advice on the website.
