This plant was one of my favorites to date, it was a perfect grow. She was so easy, she never showed any bad signs on her leaves, always was super happy. I accidentally topped her at about her 4th week or so when I was inducing LST on her. Didn’t even phase her whatsoever, she just branches off and did her own thing, I got her under a screen and the magic started happening, she bubbles up and came out with an crazy amount of flowering points. The amount of flowers she showed and then the color she showed during her fade weeks was unreal, her colors reminded me of something you’d see during fall season when leaves are changing outside. Super colorful and extremely sticky. I had to change my gloves and clean my scissors every few branches, a problem I never mind having. This is one of my top plants I’ve grown today, with the color and the size of the nugs it was a flawless grow. I tooted my own horn on this one to myself. 5 ounces is a stellar result and I’ll take that on any grow. I couldn’t recommend this strain enough and will definitely be in future grows for sure. For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought a new one from Amazon that came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent through the day, I would rather finish this Frostbanger run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. TDS meter went bad so my reads are off (low), but until I replace it... Starting LST today, unfortunately the main topped branchs on Gelato #2 split down the middle, I have taped up hopefully to heal. All plants have been topped twice hope to flip in a couple weeks.

Bud sites are producing black/purple spot in leaves. Bud growth is producing as the days go by. Really excited with this being my first grow Nitrogen boost really helped with the deficiencies. Plants are starting to look really heathy... Prunes lower colas that weren't stretching past the canopy and receiving energy so more energy can be used towards the top buds

Hello,,, semaine 1 de floraison. Les plantes se portent plutôt bien. Elles semblent vigoureuses. Le stretch a bien commencé, elles ont poussées de plus de 10cm cette semaine. Le remplissage du scrog est bien répartie même si il reste quelques imperfections😅. J’ai aussi augmenté un peu l’ex, je suis à 1.6/1.7 maintenant,, J’interviendrais probablement sur les plantes une dernière fois après le stretch fini, pour enlever ce qui ne donnera pas de belles buds. Voilà pour cette semaine... Happy grow...😎

Plant has been developing nicely over the past 6 weeks. Fimming was not very successful, so I continued with super cropping the plant. She was switched to a 12/12 schedule a week ago and was fed flower nutes for the first time this week. She is definitely stretching, so I installed another scrod at 50 cm to distribute the canopy even further and add some support. She has been receiving ph balanced RO water and is at this stage continuously via drippers. Roots are al over the tank again, which has however proven as an advantage in the past.

This week I transplanted all the clones from 1 gallon plastic pot into 5 gallons fabric pots.Probably 10 more days of Veg and will switch into flower.

Day 78 - Starting off week 12 and couldn’t be happier. Things are going good and just gave her a feeding today. This will be the last week of feed and will flush with Sledgehammer next week. Quite a few fan leaves are really starting to fade in color and die off, telling me she’s probably towards the end of life. Hopefully there’ll be some fattening these last 2 weeks before chopping. Attempted some trich pics but can’t hold steady enough so didn’t turn Putnam so well but we’re just about 100% milky from what I can tell. Day 79 - Looks like a change in plans and most likely will chop this weekend. Overnight she popped a lot of amber trichs. Even the bottom buds with less light and are about 20-30% amber. I don’t want it going too much further than that so I’ll do a big flush tomorrow and most likely chop either Friday or Saturday. Day 80 - Final day before chopping. Put 5 gallons of water with the Sledgehammer through for a flush and all is looking good. Put together a new drying box today so we’ll see how that works out for the drying process. Seen some videos on it and looks like it should work. Will be chopping tomorrow and so ready!

She's over doubled her height this week!!!!!!!!!! Looks like she's going great! An educated guess says she is just about to enter flowering in the coming week.

Smell is getting intense which is a good problem I always like having lol got the carbon filter running 24/7. The GroBucket system really keeps the soil at the perfect moisture level. Made a aeroponics system that’s got me intrigued lol but all and all things are coasting by it’s just on me to keep environment stable and the reservoirs filled. I've been away for a week, leaving my tent in the care of a friend. Coming back I was surprised to see how much bud growth has occurred, as you can see colas are really starting to stack up, and trichromes are already appearing. AK48 seems to have some purple coloration creeping in on her buds which is really beautiful, just hard to capture as my led throws a purple hue on my photos in the first place. Today I spent two hours trimming leaves from the tent and have kept the airflow at a healthy level. Happy at how everything is looking, and at only three weeks into flowering she seems really promising. Stay tuned!

I'm getting impatient now. Gave her a light P burn with a extra feed of PK at the end of last week and have dropped Boost entirely. Fade came on faster than expected but I think that's the Boost making her hungry, leaving no doubt in my mind it's a PGR. Dammit. Two more weeks??
