1/30/21Saturday morning had me lounging, watering, pruning and a photo shoot. I am hoping for a quick recovery from the middle plant after some pruning was done. I was hoping it would stretch one last time so I could move the light but I am parked there for the time. ~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2204 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/15- Here we go into the second week of veg for the FastBuds Tester #2204 girls and they're on a roll!When I checked on them today they both were still moist so I let them go until I check them tomorrow. Basically at this point in the run all I have to do is make sure they don't dry out, fill the humidifier and watch them grow! 12/17- Yesterday I watered them both and increased the amount to roughly 0.25g each of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Botanicare Silica Blast (added to begin to help strengthen their branches) and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 74℉. I've also increased the output of the HLG 650R's to 35% which equates to about 230w at the wall which, of course has raised the temp's in the tent so I've also begun to run the A/C unit in the grow room which is keeping the temp's now at 75℉ in the tent. The RH is running around 75-78% RH giving a VPD of .67-.74 which I'll take! 😁👍 Other than what I've mentioned above, all I did was fill the humidifier with distilled water and watched my girls grow! 🤩 12/19- Today I watered them each with 0.25g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t and 1 tsp/g Unsulfured Molasses which I then ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I'm now watering through the bottom, filling the drip pan and letting the plant draw up the water into itself. I am also watering from the top, but only just enough to moisten the medium. They're really starting to take off now, a sure sign their roots are beginning to get well developed. Their 4th set of leaves have emerged and as they get bit bigger I may give topping, one or both, some consideration... we'll see! 12/21- Today I watered them both with 0.25g of straight de-chlorinated water each which was ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I gave about 3/4 of it into their drip pans so they can draw it up into their medium, the rest I applied to the top of their medium just to moisten it. They're both doing fantastic with good color and vigor! They're not very tall and judging by their leaf shape and overall structure I'd say they are definitely leaning towards the Indica side of the gene pool! I'm holding off on deciding whether or not to top them, but will make a decision in the next couple of days! What's good growmies! This plant REEKS Even with the air being vented outside trough a carbon filter, the room still has a weak "eau de Stracciatella" I don't have the vocabulary or nose to place the scents like some growers can, all I know is, its f-ing loud and she's only mid flower, I *cannot* wait to smell this baby when she is cured. I'm following Plagron's Feeding Shedule, I posted it a few weeks back, I dropped all organic additives, however, so no Sugar royal, no Pure Zym and sure as f no Power Roots, even though I contacted Plagron and have been told these additives work wonders in Hydro, I just can't, it makes the water black, gunk collects around my roots and pumps, if anyone has any advice or insight as to what I'm doing wrong, please let me know, But my gut is telling me I do not have the money or equipment for Organics, the fact that I'm expected to replace 50 liters of reservoir every 48 hours in and of itself is a massive deterrent. that rant aside, Green Sensation is obviously doing work, however, I noticed my EC rising all the way up to *2.4* this week! which is absolutely no bueno, a couple of fan leaves started showing some burnt tips, Luckily its DWC and a quick adjustment with a few liters of plain Ph'd water immediately stopped that. Why was my EC rising? well the logical answer is Overfeeding! plant is not taking all the food I'm giving her so as the water gets taken up, the nutrients become more concentrated, so to fix that I'm halving my Green sensation dose, DWC kicks ass when it comes to this, there is little guessing, and a lot is measured. and as we all know, what gets measured gets managed. This Diary is on cruise control, I don't think aside from watching those nuggies fatten up, there will be much change in this garden from here on out. I'm starting another Diary soon, Zamnesia send me some Runtz to grow and show the world, which is great because I was planning to grow some legendary Runtz anyway! 😉 got a closet I'll be turning into a Autoflower/Veg tent, get some babies started in there using kratky, then once the time for flower comes, drop em into RDWC Thanks for stopping by this week and observing my baby's development, she's quite a slow finisher, but I'm growing fond of her. This plant is exploding with growth.. New buds and darker colours. Now started the flushing stage, 4500ppm was the water run off figures before flushing which explains the toxicity to nitrogen. It is now at a manageable 780ppm somewhat. Good grow so far! Mega strong smell

Day 18: She is absolutely loving the LED. Over the past few days she's been pushing out some new leaves. I gave her the first big water of her life today with 3 cups of regular tap water. Day 20: The leaves she's pushing out are becoming nice and wide, I personally really like the shape of them. I'm so happy to finally have a decent light and grow space!

DAY 1 The seed is in the cup. DAY 2 We have a little tale. I can't believe how fast is happening while submerged in water cup, from now on ill use this method only 🤣I have moved the seedling directly in to the coco. This will be it's first and final pot only 2 liters 70/30 coco/perlite. I'm still not that skillful to try with 1L or less pot, but micro growing looks fun for me. It's already day 3 and I can see the sprout. The boys from Fast Buds and their seeds are no joke. I chose this strain becose is basically the shortest in fast buds collection. The general idea for this run is to be quick. 75 days at its best and longest. I don't plan on fimming or topping the plant. Generally I don't plan even to train it, the only think I want from.this run is to to see how quick it can go in coco with athena and how quickly it will flower. we have a real seedling over here still hiding in the shell, but this one looks great in his little 2L pot. DAY 4 RH 70% PPFD 180 Room Temp: 27C the shell fell off and now my little Papaya is getting direct hit by the grow light. DAY 5 RH 70% PPFD 180 Room Temp: 27C EC 240 PPFD 220 My small papaya is doin grate. I started to add a little fertilizer in the water just to keep the cube charged a little bit. It's time to feed a little bit light so now the PPFD is around 200-220 and it will stay like that probably until veg. DAY 6 Room temperature 27-29 C RH 60-70% EC 1.0 PPFD 220 EC 1.0 So far my favorite plant this run. I'm really excited to see my micro run if it is successful. It will need a lot of care becose small pot means a lot of hand care, but this will be good for my connection with the plant. DAY 7 Room temperature 26-27C RH 70% EC 1.0 PPFD 220 EC 1.0 No watering today the coco is pretty wet so probably tomorrow morning. My micro is showing significantly nice grow for now i beleave it will be in veg until next week. DAY 8 Room temperature 26-27C RH 70% EC 1.0 PPFD 220 EC 1.0 Slow but steady. The small one looks happy, few more days and ill start Athena nutrients by their feeding chart. I have pretty amazing time in germination and most importantly this genetic shows true power and obviously is pretty tolerant.

Ze Chem Bang is vegging right along. I hope this update works. She had a solution change a few days ago. I previously have removed the lower leaves as they were struggling with signs from my inability to care for them proper after hand surgery. I am back now and she is back on track. Some of you may have wondered: Why do I use CO2 at average 950 ppfd μmol/m2/s (moral flow)? The answer is quite simple. Because of lack of space in some regions of my cultivation area, I simply cannot keep the ideal distance to my Sanlight high-performance lamp, due to some height growth of various strains. And so some of the main colas have ppfd values of 1250 μmol/m2/s and even more... So this is how I manage to achieve and compensate for such high radiation levels even with a CO 2 balance. And I have to say, my strategy to avoid various light stress symptoms works just fabulously. In combination with CO 2 implementation, my babies are simply unbeatably insensitive to light. Thats it! Beginning of 3rd week flowering: Again feeding my babies by 36 hours fermented potions of Bio Tabs Kompost Tea PK-Booster (15 g pro Liter) and added: 5ml Orgatrex/Liter 1 Spoon of Bactrex 1 Spoon of Mycotrex 1 Spoon of Mycco-Vital 1 Spoon of Dynomyco A little tip for those who are interested in small modifications that have a big difference or influence - on the result - effect - beauty - health - taste! Before adding microorganisms or beneficial bacteria or Mycorrizae and Trichodermas, please use oxygen-saturated water. On the one hand, unwanted chlorine gases evaporate and the small world of the microbiome becomes even faster and more rewarding in compost tea to sprout. Last but not least for this week, I would like to introduce my reasons, why I prefer growing biologically and sustainably. First of all, it’s something which suits very well in these times/days we are living now. Sustainability is a big need and task for our planet. 🌎 Nature means life. Our home, the air we breathe and everything that surrounds us. Not just today. Hopefully tomorrow as well. Maybe I'm starting to protect our environment on a small scale, but maybe I can also make a big difference at all. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change... I thought about what’s the difference, between Mineral Feeding and Super Soil Feeding. It’s very easy. Biologically Growing is a similar process than the natural soil activities out there in the lap of nature’s. So plants has to work and interact with the microorganisms and microbiomic communities in the soil. So the plants will never get lazy like the lazy ones of mineral feeding growers. If you grow biologically, you will feed the soil first and the microorganisms will support every parameter next to your plant conditions. And that will generate an unbelievable spectrum of Terpenes and Trichomes you will never forget. It’s the same comparison, when you daily visit McDonalds and you eat only fast food. Addendum for Day 53: At the moment we unfortunately have another winter onset here in Germany. This means that I am forced to take additional heating measures due to structural facts in order to be able to keep the temperatures constant. After all, just tonight the thermometer climbs again to -1 degree Celsius. In addition, my exhaust air system runs out of my bedroom terrace and I therefore grow winter and summer with the patio door open. Well, sometimes I experience real weather-related challenges. But all in all, no problem... "Where there's a will, there's a way." Addendum to pouring out the fermented PK tea: I always administer half a liter of lukewarm aerated water with 3.5 ml of cannazyme per liter to each plant. This means that the "root machine" is not supplied with supplies unprepared and the nutrient solution can thus also be better distributed in the soil. Since I also work with cloth shoes, I spray them evenly moistened everywhere with water that is also warm before pouring them out from the outside. This has the advantage that the moisture stays where it should: in the pot! ... I did the math today ;-) We are still in week 7 until this Friday. And week 8 starts on Friday! OMG... still so much time yeahh! Today my Fast Buds Sour Jealousy and Sweet Seeds Big Devil and Dark Devil Automatics arrived. I'm looking forward to it. This time Fast Buds next Time Sweet Seeds. Love them too. Very beautiful genetics. Today a review video of the beginning of week 3. At the time of the pictures, I had minor signs of nitrogen excess. (Light peaks first at the crown of the roof and then slightly continuing to the middle section.) I then painstakingly racked my brains as to why this could be. I found that very slight dry spots had formed and therefore the root found small accumulations of nitrogen that caused its problems. But then, when I carefully homogeneously checked the moisture content in the substrate, the problem evaporated again. However, they had not shown any loss of growth rate during this time. Nevertheless, they developed as expected. They Strawnanas had no problem with that. In the end, I always have a hard time killing them. But I guess that's the way things go. We live and die. Harvest day! This is my first autoflower ever and after 66 days this is what I got. Now it's hanging to dry for a dry trim. Definitely not the best, but feeling happy with the outcome. Even with some major feeding mistakes, I managed to finish her. Learned so much. I will update with the final weight and a strain review!

27/02: the plants that looked wilted in the previous week have come back to life as they are being fed 1 litre of water now - it was an underwatering issue. all plants including the ones that were lagging behind have exploded with their stigmas and there are plenty of bud sites throughout. humidity is still a bit of an issue though I am installing an industrial sized dehumidifier into the grow tent as of next week. again there is some over crowding though I do not want to stress the plants by taking too many leaves at this stage. will give it at least another week before another trim. plants are on average around 30 inches high. reacting well to the nutes and all is going well.

El comienzo de la floración será explosivo. 24/01/21. cierre de semana la separe del resto por que note inicios de hermafroditismo 😞 solo era en las ramas bajeras no se que tipo de estres causo esto

👉The plant hasn't gained much more height, but the buds have started to plump and frost. The aroma has also become strong and is an intoxicating creamy lemony scent. The frost is spreading onto the sugar leaves. The buds are going to be dense. I have only taken a few of the lower and most shaded leaves, and those leaves were starting easy to pluck as if the plant was done with them anyway. Its got purple stems and at the beginning of the week show potential early signs of magnesium deficiency. This can be due to the pure H2O I use and less mag in the solution than normal, so I added an extra measure of Calmag in the mix. I haven't seen any progression of purple veins or any other notable possible nutrient issues in the leaves. The plant is full of leaves and I have zero intention to remove anymore of the food factories until the plat tells me to. 👉I used week 8 "mid Bloom" nutrient mix from the General Hydroponics Flora Series Drain to waste feed chart. The run-off has stayed within the target. I did one low EC fertigation and one H20nly event, both followed by regular strength solution.Switching to the week 9 mix this week. 👉
