The plants are comming along nicely. They got some horsetail extract in the past 2 weeks, nothing else. I will top dress with a handful guano the comming days. The sativa pheno seems to be the furthest aong in terms of trichromes. We will see, when we start looking at the trichromes with a microscope soon. Numbers 1 and 7, the indica phenos, are similar. Only number 1 is lagging behind 7-10 days. All plants started to receede from their bigger lower fan leaves. I keep picking them of as they turn yellow. Happy growing everyone!

Welcome growfessors to the harvest of Mandarin dreams! These 5 ladies got chopped down this week, the three pheno 1 strains have nice dense buds, very sticky! One pheno 2 is very fluffy, airy buds and the other pheno 2, is someplace in between, not rock hard, but close to it. Last time I'll be growing this strain, she was easy to grow, but not a smoke I enjoy, the indica hits harder as the buds cure and I'm not that interested in couch lock. Will update in 7-10 days with dry weight.

Day 80 ~ Plants are looking and smelling great. I have been keeping an eye on the trichomes for the first plant and she looks like she will be ready right after the harvest moon! So I am excited to harvest her on Friday. While plant 2 is still another week and a half to 2 weeks away!

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend. The ladies had another great week, I got the Durban Nights, Red Hot Cookies, and Sundae Driverr's second toppings completed on day 26, and I got the second toppings done on the Green Crack and Bubble Runtz on day 27. Right now I have 4 mains on each plant, and I will top each one this week, probably in the next 3-4 days which will leave with me 8 mains. So the mainlines will be completed during week 5, and I plan to flip to flower around week 7. I will just continue with LST to try and keep all the tops level heading into flowering as to prevent any top from becoming dominant. I am still seeing a couple holes on the leaves of the Sundae Driver, but I have treated her twice with neem oil and I don't see any new holes since the last application and I can't see any bugs even with magnification. I am still not sure if it was a bug issue or just a genetic thing. Either way I am not too concerned at this point because they all seem to be very healthy. I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients approximately one week after flipping to flower. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space. Still very pleased with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. Día 18. Estoy en la 3ra semana de crecimiento. Apliqué HST en las dos ramas altas para poder igualar la altura con las otras dos. Por el momento viene todo en marcha. Solamente hubo un poco de stress con hojas un poco arrugadas por exceso de nutrientes. Así que hoy rebajé la solución con un poco de agua. En 3 o 4 semanas debería estar en condiciones de cortar los esquejes que voy a necesitar para el sistema completo. Inicialmente voy a usar un módulo que ya tenía armado que hice con un cajón plástico. Ese es para 4 esquejes y la madre. Pero es muy chico para el espacio que tengo. Así que inicialmente usaré este y luego armaré uno para 9 o 7 plantas. Veremos cuan cómodo queda con 5 plantas por ahora, porque quizá prefiero hacer 7 plantas cómodas y no meter 9 y después no poder manejar el espacio. La idea es que la madre vaya al medio y los esquejes alrededor. Día 21. Rocíe la planta con tierra de diatomeas como preventivo. Sigo aplicando HST para lograr que las ramas bajas tomen protagonismo,y ya que van a ser los esquejes que use. De todos modos estoy viendo en el crecimiento que la genetica no está bien estabilizada. Los bancos de semillas argentinos, hasta ahora han sido decepción en cada siembra que hice, por lo cual no me sorprendería que esta también lo sea. Estoy analizando la idea de pasar a floración la planta así cómo está en el indoor grande y arrancar con una genética europea que tengo guardada para la próxima. Porque correr riesgos innecesarios me costaría mucho tiempo. Por el momento mantengo la solución, ya que en crecimiento la suelo hacer durar 10 o 15 días. Principalmente cuando la planta tiene menos de 4 semanas. Esta semana que arranca voy a definir que hago con esta genética. De paso subo un video con la configuración casi terminada del indoor. Pero cuando esté funcionando se va a entender mejor.

Well, another week has passed and it has been growing not exactly as I expected, but they warned me about using only base fertilizers with an inert soil and a higher ambient temperature, I could have a not so good result, well, it's one more experience and I liked it and let's see how it will be until the end of the cycle because the next one I already ordered a starter kit from the advanced nutrients line! Let's Go!
