Another good week! Calcium deficiency is proving hard to defeat. No noticeable slowing of growth or anything negative. Buds are stacking on nicely and starting to frost up!

August 18, Day 28. Had to flush on Friday due to nutrient lockout. There were purple stems which caught my attention to a possible nutrient deficiency. Coupled by the dark green older fan leaves and bright green of new growth, my Apera TDS meter confirmed nutrient lockout. Kaboom was flushed a total of 4 times Friday night, then foliar fed at 25% strength the next morning. She was given 1.1 liters of pHd water since the top inch was already dry despite flushing the night before. I am taking her thirst to mean she is recovering well. I plan on resuming the GH least aggressive feed schedule tomorrow and will begin feeding with every watering. Now that she's on the mend from the nutrient lockout I can tell she's thirstier than what she used to be, I'm taking that to mean she's hanging in there. Friends, growmies, cousins, comrades, colleagues and cultivars. Updates last week were minimal because this plant mama came down with COVID. Flushing a plant during COVID fever is no joke. Stay well and healthy everyone. August 19, Day 29. Fed at least aggressive strength today until 25% runoff. Included a new supplement to the nutrient line up, silica. Today is the first time I use it so I went easy and used the weakest dose. Plant has 5 main sites so far, yahoozie. To top a second time? No se todavia, deja lo pienso jajaja August 21, Day 31.Topped one more time, clipped the tallest point to give the others time to catch up. I know I will need to defoliate a tiny bit, soon, but I'm a bit scared to remove either too much or a mega vital leaf. I'll watch videos about it and aim for next week. I sprayed the top inch with pH'd water and will feed and water tomorrow morning. August 22, Day 32. Fed and watered, no recharge since I used it on Day 29. As I repositioned the kabob sticks, I noticed a couple of milestones - she is in the very beginning stages of forming pistils and she is beginning to smell. I plan on keeping her in veg for at least 2 more weeks, hopefully this isn't super ambitious for a plant named Kaboom lol 😂 August 24, Day 34. I checked on Kaboom and found that the top inch was totally dry so I fed and watered her. I used everything except recharge, but will use it at next feeding since I'm aiming for 10 days in between applications. I think Kaboom is looking fabulous

Buenas, como podéis ver han pegado un buen tirón, después de hacer las fotos tuve que volver a realizar poda de bajos, sacando unas ramas bastante grandes, las cuales voy a clonar y etiquetar por si sale algo que merezca conservarse. ya están mostrando preflores, aunque lleven 4 semanas a 12 /12 es como si fuese la 1ª en ejemplares de marihuana indica, sigo con una EC de 1.2 hasta que empieze a ver flores, donde iré subiendo poco a poco con cuidado pues es la primera vez que planto sativas y no quiero sobre abonarlas, hago un riego con abono y otro con agua de ósmosis corrigiendo hasta alcanzar una EC de 0.4, mido el agua que drena de las macetas tanto el PH como la EC para controlar que no alla carencias o excesos de nutrientes. Realizaré una limpieza del armario y pulverizare las plantas con Leaf Coat para prevenir, van como un tiro a ver que tal siguen, Buenos Humos!!!😃

Still doing the balancing act with these autos. Trying to learn as much from my mistakes as a can. For now, the preliminary conclusion is that for my circumstance I need at least 20-liter bags. This is to make sure I don't dry out the grow bags too soon, also I didn't add hydro corn this grow, which I'm going to add next time. Also, they deal better with higher temps so it seems and have more buffering and balancing effects with my type of super soil. Still very happy with how the tent filled with only 4 autos I see that 5 or 6 of this size would've worked. The SP-3000 still working like a charm. 14/07 - We are in week 5 of veg now and this will most likely be the last week before flip. Training has been going well and there have been no signs of deficiency. Many main sites are starting to shoot up and the plant height is starting to reach close to the net. I will feed them later this week with more flower specific nutrients to prepare for flip. 19/07 - Watered both plants with just water phd at 6.5. Next watering I will introduce flowering nutes. This week I decided to recruit my husband to get a proper look at this girl's roots. She's gotten so damn big that it's impossible for me to get a shot otherwise. Her root ball is massive. She's large and in charge. I went through and gave her another thorough round of defoliation. What I removed was any droopy leaves in the underbrush, as well as any fan leaves that were casting shadows and blocking light from my bud sites. When I was finished, I was able to stand over my plant, look down, and visibly see through to the base of my plant and grow media. Being able to do this suggests to me that my light source is also able to penetrate down throughout the plant as well. The removal of these leaves also contributed to improved air circulation and decreased humidity - both which are important as we progress through the flowering stage. This week I also caught my first whiff of this plant's sweet aroma. I'm excited to see how her terps develop over the upcoming weeks! 😋😋😋 I cloned another branch off this plant. Just hit day 10 of flower this net has about 20% touching the 2nd trellis. And about 70% almost touching. The Saskatoon Berry plants are very close node spacing. The bud formations are already prevalent.

Nice growing (Day 11) Use a Root-juice 4ml/2L. I think the roots will not walk to the bottom of the pot if the watering does not reach so I should add 1 liter of water per a plant. (Day 12) Today I should add more fan for my grow tent so today I'm buying new one , switch the light to 75% and Lamp To Plant Distance 24-26inches . (Day 13)...This day I'm not do anything about my plants but learning about toping and cloning a plant or other training a plant. 8/19/23 - Day 67 - Things are still looking good. We just had a water change. A couple more weeks! 8/21/23 - OK, ok ok, we have a lot of work coming up. Right now is like the calm before the storm. The storm I'm talking about is harvest, trimming, drying, and curing. This is the kind of labor that you LOVE to HATE. Especially with how many buds ill be pulling from this LEAF box. Let's talk about progress real fast. She is getting bulkier every day. Overnight she drank about 300+ ppm of nutes. She likes the nutes a lot. I'm taking this as a reason for all the little snowy crystals and the enlargement of the buds. Flushing: For about a week before harvest I will empty the water+Nutes and refill only with Water. We want the plant to suck up and replace all the nutes in the buds with water. This is called flushing. Trimming plans and Tools: When it's time to trim the plant, I've got a plan in mind. I'm going to trim the buds while they're still wet, and I'll leave them attached to the stems. To simplify the drying process, I will split the LEAF into two parts – the top and the bottom. Since space is a bit tight in the LEAF with this grow, I will keep just the buds on the branches. This will help the air circulate the buds better. I've even found this cool trimming tray on Amazon that I'm planning to use. I've realized that having the right tools for trimming is essential. Just like I'd put on gloves to work on a car, I will use nitrile gloves to keep things clean while trimming. And I'll use proper trimming scissors instead of regular ones. These scissors are designed for this job and should make the process much smoother. Amazon - Trimming Tray - (somewherr brand pictured above) Amazon - Nitrile Gloves Amazon - Trimming Scissors Drying Plans and Tools: Once I'm done trimming, it's time to dry the buds. I'm thinking of using simple tension rods, like those small shower curtain rods, to hang the branches. This way, I can create two levels inside the drying box. The lower part can rest on a SCROG net to ensure good airflow and even drying for all the branches. The LEAF box will handle the drying parameters. The environment inside the LEAF box will focus only on keeping the humidity at 60% and moving the air around getting the buds to a non-mildew amount of humidity. Amazon - Tension rods 16-28” Curing Plans and Tools After the buds are dry (60% humidity), the next step is curing. This means I'll be storing the buds in sealed glass jars. I've got mason jars and hygrometers to monitor humidity levels. Once the jars are filled with buds, I'll seal them and put them in an cool, dark spot. I plan to open the jars briefly every day to let in some fresh air. (15min). I'll know the curing is done when the humidity inside the jars stays around 62% during these "burps." She went from about 900 at the beginning of the week to about 330. Now she's back up to 500ppms. We change the water in one more day. 8/24/23 - Day 72 - It's official: I have moved the smell slider up! Holy shit, does it smell potent. I put my arm in there through the Weed forest, and when my arms came out, I was attacked by the Skunk BOSS. I had to shower and change my outfit to eliminate the smell. Only 3/4 sprouted so I’m going with that. I don’t have any extra seeds. I am very happy tho because my last grow 4 was a lot in my setup. I want to see how much I can train 3 plants and how much bigger I can get them. I also have to order seeds this run and get more soil. Very excited
