Finally got all the girls germinated and in the system. Germed in paper towels and then into rockwool cubes and directly into rdwc. 13 gallon buckets. 8 inch net pots. Been top feeding as the roots dont hit the water yet. Had a few issues germinating. Wasnt careful and broke a few when handling them. Wasnt going to go with the trainwreck because of the long stretch and mutations from last grow but she seems strong enough . Also, of note, I am considering trying out a manifolding/ mainlining technique this time around. Havent decided yet , although this may be a good method for the lanky trainwreck.

End of the second week of the stretch and pretty much as expected. One male has gone off early spilling pollen everywhere. The females Id say are a little behind this one but no real worries - we got another 2 males in there ready and waiting to burst at the right time👍. We’ve now pared down the whole tent for pollination and taken cuttings of each fem. Plant for a separate run. Best part there is that we have 3 identified phenos of both indica and sativa dominant traits so we’re gonna get a really even look at what the genetic has to offer, while at the same time being able to isolate desirable traits in the resulting F2 seed. Pretty sick outcome to date 🔥. We moved over to GHE nutes this week to save the Druid nutes for the fem run in the recirc system. Stronger brand for sure, but similar in value and ease. All told, everything is proceeding far better than expected. The rest is just praying that we found a kickass combination in the polyhybrid mix🤞. Till next week yall👊. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. They've stretched through the net a fair bit , all different heights. Defoliated reasonably hard on day 20 . Started sugar royal at half dose this week. Will start green sensation also from plagron from week 4 as recommended.

Still just trying to be patient, waiting for harvest time, hopefully I don't go past the harvest window that I'm looking for. Wanting Milky tricomes.

The buds fattened up to about the size of my fist. Sticky resin coated everything and the tent smelled fantastic.

Week 5 flower going well. Nothing much to report. Increased the drip as she is taking in more water. Turned up the fans to 100% for maximum flow, and due to that, the tent got a bit warmer and a bit dryer so the exhaust fan and humidifier are working a bit harder. 75-77 deg F, 50-60% RH. Not sure if the lights are to intense or if it’s purple coming through, but at the highest tops there seems to be a bit of discolouration on the newest growth, just at the tips of the new buds. But I’m looking really close and it may be purple, not brown. I’ll keep an eye on it and turn the lights down if symptoms worsen. This plant is growing strong and getting chunky. Hopefully she keeps growing well until the end. Thanks for the views…keep calm and grow on!

As of day 21, growth is strong and I have begun LST. I have transplanted to a 5g grow bag, as the roots had fully populated the previous 1g container. The lower leaf browning has continued, despite a nice healthy root system (confirmed during transplant), so I have added h202 to the reservoir. This should prevent bacterial growth/PH swings, and will hopefully this will fix the issue. Overall, my nutrient mixing and fertigation schedule is the following: -H202, wait an hour. -Liquid silica, wait an hour. -Cal-Mag -Micro -Grow/bloom -Humic acid -Rapid start -Confirm EC (1.3) -PH down to hit a PH of 6 Then I fertigate to 10-20 percent runoff. I fertigate 2-3 times a day, as the coco/perlite blend is very resistant to overwatering. Thanks for reading, and happy growing! 🌱👍

Nothing much to report, some tight buds are starting to form Week 4 day 4, the buds are definitely starting to take shape, and the trichomes are forming on the sugar leaves, pistils are still mostly light colored. I cant wait to watch these buds chunk up over the next few weeks.

Day 58 - As you can see, buds are looking full but still looking like they want to go a bit longer, checking the trichomes frequently and seeing a lot of cloudy.. think i saw the first few ambers too. Any how, we shall keep going. Flush time soon. Day 62 - Looking good, smelling better.. really fruity and sweet. Seems ripe too. Feeds lowered and a little flush. Buds are rock hard, very dense and sticky. Looking forward to harvesting. She will be ready by day 63, but I'll see weather or not ill let her go longer. Stay tuned. Day 64 - trichomes ready, little flush and shes ready for the chop. Beautiful smelling strain and easy to grow. Very hard dense gassy and sweet buds. This week I bought some other plants to make sure my neighbourhood doesn't smell like weed when people walk by LOL. I would really recommend to buy plants like these. When I open the door to my balcony it now smells different, i don't know for how long since they are not in flowering stage yet, we shall see. Did some LST and defoliation like I do every week. Changed plant spots. This time I had to add more water to my feeding since it is getting hotter outside and my plants take up more because of having more roots and needs.

Fue como la semana anterior sigo alternando riegos con abono si abono no y esta semana uno de los días se me quedó la luz encendida y tuvieron 36 horas seguidas de luz, espero no les pase nada grave. Por lo demás todo bien

She looks very super big and beautiful for her 3rd week since planted, let's see how she keeps developing, looks super happy.

Day 152 from seed ( 98 days since I changed photoperiod) and I'm harvesting after one week flush. A few buds seemed to have started decaying inexplicably, like burned, and had acquired a grayish- brownish coloration that I didn't like at all. I think she's caught a fungus. Besides I also think spider mites have done they job well because I was amazed at the extent they had sucked the sap on almost every leaf of the plant, fan leaves mostly. They have weakened the plant so much that she may be int he process of a more terrible thing that could be fungi. Back to spider mites, it is indeed nasty to see the damage this pest has done so far, because I see they have chewed almost -if not all- leaves, and fortunately they hadn't started to form webs, which I abhore seeing. I had started to see adult spider mite forms into the very inside of buds, while I was inspecting the thricomes, so before this nasty pest would eat up my precious buds, or any other cause (mold, etc) I took the decision to flush and harvest her progressively. First I'd harvest the most ripen buds or those that show signs of decaying and leave to the end the most immature (those that were far from lights, which are terminal and very big and dense though a but immature and bright green. The plant looked overall ready and I preferred to harvest the most bud I could, as you may imagine, but I would have liked another week for flushing more thoroughly. I've been flushing with tapwater and 2 mL/L Flawless Finish from Advanced Nutrients. In the next few days I'll be finishing her completely, drying won't take long and as for curing I think a couple of weeks. The smell in the room is really heavy (in fact it has been heavy for the last month), it stinks oif citrus here.
