Combined the cop of water and paper towel method then planted the sprouts in root root cubes

After switching the light schedule, our supposed "autoflowers" have finaly started to show signs of actually flowering. Week 9, what a trip. This grow is full of surprises and new lessons for me: the potting mix i have used for this grow is apparently purely peat (black and white peat moss) with perlite mixed in. After digging into some more information about all kinds of soils i found out that i was apparently growing "hydroponically" because this is apparently a soilless mix. The world is full of surprises 😅 This does explain a lot of the stuff that i've been trying to deal with in the last few weeks: first and foremost my plants were looking like they were developing a range of different nutrient deficiencies. I still find it hard to tell which ones, but symptoms ranged from decoloration and deformation of the lower leafs up to small burnt tips on the developing flowers, new growth being brittle and signs that looked like underwatering. I'm convinced that this has a lot to do with the fact tht this is a soilless medium with 0 pre-supplied nutrients (the light mix does supply nutrients for a week or two, but no more). I've been going really slow on the feeding because in previous runs i tended to overfeed and had issues with that, so therefore only used about a quarter to half of the recommended dosages. So, at this point i've completely switched up my feeding: i bought 2 new bottles of hydroponic fertilizers (GHE Bloom and GHE Micro) and i'm using those in addition to a little bit of plagron terra grow - to make sure the plant also gets its fair share of nitrogen. After 3 days of watering with this stuff (both at 2ml/L) the plants are almost literally screaming "THANK YOU!" and seem to be really benefitting from this new insight and change of strategies.

WEEK 7 - March 14 - 20 I now have a good light meter so I rearranged the parts provide light efficiency trying to get close to PPFD for the age of each plant. ALL HAVE HAD CALCIUM MAG DEFICIENTCIES. I NEED TO ADD CALMAG TO MY RO WATER AND KEEP ADDING MORE THROUGHOUT THE GROW.

These buds are fattening and looking lovely. The plants are getting heavy. It's starting to smell. Amazing. All is going well. The plants are soaking up all the nutrients and I just added a automatic drip system. Can't wait to see how it works for them. We're getting so close to harvest. They smell amazing. Everything is good now. They are healthy and smell very good! Having some troubles with the humidity, but everything looks very good at day 20 since switch.

Popped 2 GDP seeds, will only be flowering one of them. No nutes for the first week, just water. Germinated in coco/perlite 4:1 mix. Will be transferring to 5 gallon pot in week 3, topping at least twice.

This is start of week 5, the girls have been grooving even with a heat wave hitting and a few days of 90 degrees or 32c Thinking this week they will start to turn some what a red purple hue, they have also stopped stretching. Starting to produce lots of trichomes and the smells are starting to come out, atm the middle one smells like Vicks lol, and the left one is smelling gas. Overall plant wet weight was 2,6 kg after initial trim and removal of all stems, it came down to 2,1 kg, which will end up up somewhere in the high 300s maybe 400 gr dry. Harvested a bit in a hurry as the one mutated bud on the plant looked a bit funky and I feared but rot (all other buds look rot free so far). Tried to take some nice pictures with the plant out of the tent, however she was not able to support herself at all and I will there fore post some nicer pictures of the finished product . I have to say for a, in the beginning, pretty small plant, she turned out very nice and I would definitely grow her again.

I am open to advice, I would be happy if you comment with what you would do in my place. - DAY 58 (31/07) FEEDING I reintegrated the power supply by decreasing K in favor of N I irrigated 2.5 liter of water with: - 2ml Micro - 1.25ml Bloom Solution PH: range 6.6/6.9 - DAY 60 (02/08) DEFOLIATION Cut some leaves at the bottom Day/night air temperature on average for this week: Day 31-36 °C. Night 22-26 °C.

🌿Week 4: Defoliation & SCROG Setup Week 4 was all about structure and airflow. The canopy was getting bushy fast, with a ton of inner growth, so we went in for a solid defoliation session across the board. Lower fans, overlapping leaves, and shaded internodes were cleaned up to let light penetrate deeper into the canopy and reduce potential humidity traps. Right after that, we finally dropped the SCROG net, stretched out gently across the canopy to guide the branches horizontally and prep for flower stacking. Some of these phenos are already reaching for the sky, so the timing felt just right. Captured a full-time-lapse clip of the defoliation + netting process. It’s super satisfying watching the chaos turn into clean lines. Nature meets intention. Feed Bloom since 20/6 22/6 Defoliation 🌱 Plant Response: After defol, they bounced back fast. Tops are perky, leaves are praying, and stretch is continuing in a controlled way. The structure’s more open now — better airflow, better light distribution, better everything.

wet trim, nice buds, will update when more details are available --- got 0.3g of crazy scissors hash - vaped a tiny bit of it and the high is amazing 🤩 ---- 11/6/20 started curing & made some RSO of the trimming (~3ml) ---- 11/7/20 made a 2nd batch of RSO (~10ml)

i think pistills are changing more oranger this week.. but i guess buds are not growing fat this week .. something isn't right...

This is the first week with only 12 hours of light and the plants grow pretty well 😎 I removed some leaves here and there to give some light to the new branches but no major defoliation. The broken branch of the Cashew Kush from last week (see D42 - Cashew Kush) has survived and went back towards the light, it's a strong plant! 💪 The light is now set to 100% and is really hotter than at 75%. I cannot leave my hand on the top of it for too long or it burns a bit. Despite of that, I have no temperature issues in the room. There I was. Talking on another forum to what I consider to be a true aficionado and master green thumb. Explaining that I had a staggered set in my tent. He told me to ease into the beastie bloomz 0-50-30 with 1/8 tsp per gallon in my reservoir. Keep in mind I’m hydro NOT soil. The first watering I did so with these little ladies that are 46” tall. Somehow I was in a rush and not thinking clearly the second watering which was two days later and added a full tablespoon into 4 gallons and the plants were already being fed before I did the math in my head. Much to my surprise they BLEW UP. When I went back and test the PPM on my reservoir the following day it was at a staggering 3400ppm. I should have had zombies. I cleaned it and reset with 1500 ppm and have slowly been adding water and watching it creep again into higher numbers. 3 different strains and they are all stoked on these numbers. So you know what. I’m literally going to test the uncharted waters and see exactly how much they can take. Like I always so, don’t do what I do. Do what your plants tell you to do. Party on wayne!

25.6.25: Today is Harvest Day! I have cut down the plant and removed all the fan leaves as well as many sugar leaves. I'm hoping this makes the trimming easier, as I have 3 plants ready, and no help. So the easier the better! Let's see what the weight and smoke report are! This plant is absurdly frosty!! I'm definitely excited to be trying this one, beautiful buds too. Not big buds, but you can see the quality there. 1.6.25: Finished drying and trimming. All bagged buds totalled 82.7g / 2.92 0z. I think the quality of the flowers are top notch 👌 They smell just like strawberries and I have tested it today, it is really strong, whatever the strain is. After the new branches have grown three nodes, I topped at the 3rd node to start the four branch split that will eventually allow me to top once more.
