Increíble crecimiento esta semana, prácticamente ha doblado su tamaño. Incluso Critical #2 ha superado en tamaño a su hermana mayor. Critical #1 ha crecido algo menos, pero ha echado bastantes yemas y pistilos. He tenido que doblar las puntas para que no se estiren demasiado. Supongo que la bajada de temperaturas y el aumento de humedad esta semana ha ayudado. He bajado la luz un poco para que penetre por los bajos y he cambiado los nutrientes para que empiecen ya a engordar las flores.💪 Se nota que quieren más alimento, todo lo que le eche se lo comen en 2 días. 😜

The Cookie Girls are doing great 😊 Overall, I’m very pleased with the results so far. At day 8 I stopped tucking the branches and allowed them to grow up. In hindsight, I probably should have kept going for another couple of days. They continued to stretch rapidly all the way up to date 12 or so. At day 10 I cleaned up some of the small bud sites and leaves that were below the 1st trellis. These sites do not get enough light to make anything good, and take away energy from the main tops as they grow and compete. At day 12 I decided to add a second trellis net to provide support to the tops that came up so fast. They seem to have stopped their main stretch faze, and are looking happy and healthy now. I’ve continued my water, water, feed schedule and have not seen any cause for concern. The girls are taking a little over a gallon of water every 72 hours at this point. Humidity is being controlled automatically with my in-line fan and humidifier. RH is set to 57% and temps hover between 77-80 degrees with lights on, and about 70-72 with light off thanks to my furnace being back on for the cooler temps. The 2x4 5 gallon girl is doing great as well. 😊During the stretch, while I tucked, I snapped more than a couple of tops off, but the plant continues to thrive. She is going to have some great bud, the branch structure is nicely developed with tight node spacing. I’ve been plucking off all the lower growth, and tucking leaves as they block bud sites. I removed the tops that will not get enough light started some basic opening of the canopy and some defoliation. This topdress should help the transition to flower in a weeks time.

Good week so far. 😎 Ups and downs,but learning tons along the ride.🤓 The plants are responding well to the flushing (yes flushed again) color is much better and just the general appearance looks good after 2 days. 💪🌱💪 Lst seems to have been received well, no extra stress to these girls. 🙏 Will continue to update with pics and vids throughout the week.

Time to christen my brand new grow setup! I have only ever grown outdoors before (316g last year, for those wondering), so I’m excited about the possibilities of a controlled environment. I’ll be trying to tickle as much as I can out of this setup. First time doing a public diary too! I’ll be starting out with an easy (and cheap!) strain from my beloved RQS. But don’t you worry! I’ll be trying some different strains for sure, I’ve got my eye on some MSNL ones once I feel more confident. I started Germination with the good ol’ cup of water technique, my favourite since it’s easy and has never failed me. They all popped and were planted on the 5th. Wish me Luck!
