I love this new diary app! Getting to document each and every grow, makes it easier to improve the next time. If this website continues to gain more and more growers, I think Grow Diaries might be the goto site for uniting together growers from all over the world.

Hey guys/gals welcome to my first grow diary! Well it's week nine and it's still 🔥 in my tent. So I decided to change my light from the philizon 600w to a Viparspectra vs1000 to try to help the flowering and see if it would cool my tent down some. It helped by a degree or two but anything helps! The 🌸 were responding to the Viparspectra very well until I missed a watering day and she got to dry from my blazing tent. So when I came home and checked on my girls I noticed my Northern lights is lime green and the bottom leaves are yellow and falling off. So did some research and it's nitrogen and a lack of other nutrients that cause the loss of color. So gave a heavy feeding. The only problem with that is the top layer of soil absorbed water and then it all ran to the bottom of the pot and into the runoff tray so I let them soak for 10 mins and then drained runoff. So the top and bottom are moist and I can push on the side of pot and u can feel it's dry soil but the pot feels heavy. So I will wait it out and feed again. I have noticed the color coming back to the Northern lights so their is improvement! No issues with pineapple auto! UNTIL..... Don't use neem oil on your plants in flower!!! Before u wonder yes! I sprayed them in dark cycle. They soaked over 11 hrs before lights on. It literally says on the bottle u can use up till harvest day! So I drenched them in neem oil lastnight because I believe the bugs are causing a lot of my deficiency problems. Got up this morning and bugs are still flying all around. The neem oil is a bust! Also checked the plants as soon as lights on this morning to make sure oil was absorbed and noticed all the pistols on both plants are fried. They were white and plump yesterday so that's all I can think it could be. I did read an article that also says that neem oil shouldn't be used in flower because it has chemicals toxic to humans. Here I copied the article: Neem Oil will leave an unpleasant taste/smell on buds when used to treat flowering plants, so don’t let this stuff get near your buds! There’s also some evidence Neem oil may be harmful to humans so use with care! That being said, Neem oil is an all-natural remedy that is very effective against many different types of bugs and mold. You will need a mister (also called a “One-Hand Pressure Sprayer”) to spray all the leaves evenly since neem oil and water can separate easily. *Bugs* so I've said this before but in case your just reading this week of my diary I bought some cheap potting soil from Walmart for this grow. I spray my sapling with a spray bottle for the first 7 days for water and on day 2 spraying the soil I noticed little tiny white bugs crawling all over the soil and from then on it's been a battle that I'm losing. I have now ordered some dematious earth sure I didn't spell that right! Hoping this will help. We shall see. Well till next week! Best of luck and Happy Growing!😎🌱💚💪💪 10/10/21 Water Ph 6.1 Ppm 180 Solution temp 73.1F 10/15/21 5.3ml Micro 4.7ml Grow 6.1ml Bloom Ph 6.5 Ppm 1032 Solution temp 73.1°F

This strain Sunset-Sherbet was apart from my first ever indoor cupboard grow. Growing this strain was really fun and also quite easy. This strain has bright green leaves and grows nice developed thick stem throughout as well. The problem I faced with growing these two beautiful ladies is that they both have snapped, here are the notes on that day. 1 October 2020 (Week 6) She snapped… 🤦‍♀️🏼 The morning I was trying to tie down the main cola to the pot and what happened is, the previous time I stress trained the main stem was a while ago and the grew tight against the rope and that caused it to become a weak pot of the stem. So as I was busy tying the top cola there where the previous stress was, it broke. It was a pretty clean snap but some of the branch is still hold on, with this I simply taped it together and used rope to knot it tight, I also used a stick to use and tie the branch and stick together for support. What I noticed what was quite interesting when I taped branch back, the side of the branch that didn’t break off completely was still providing growth to the leaves while the other side started getting weak and flimsy. I never would’ve guessed it would still be able to provide growth and still heal the snapped off part.

So hears my thoughts?? Instead of giving my "sensi grow COCO" dude gave me the normal sensi grow which as I'm a newbie, I didn't realize??? Was happily feeding it to my girls THINKING im@ 6.5ph which I CLEARLY wasn't!!!! Anyways, I brought Cal-mag agent from canna and they fuckin love it!!!!!! ALL my new growth is nice and green :) I'm now ph'ing to 6.0 and THINK I've rolled all my issues back????? Feeding now 1.0ml a&b with 0.70ml Cal-mag, will lower my calmag to around 0.30ml and over the next few days then feed that throughout my grow cycle, if they get to green ill obviously remove it from my regime...

Hey Growers & Tokers! Sorry for the delay with the weekly updates, some things I had to attend to but i'm back and at it! Alright, so this week 21 days had passed since the 12/12 switch. So there was a little defoliation done. Taking away all of the big fan leaves and some of that extra bottom growth I didn't want, that tiny twig I left behind in hope that they'd grow.. but they didn't 😑 I won't be taking anything else away from here on out it's just feeding and caring.. maybe pluck a leaf here and there. She's growing nicely, bud sites are stacking up correctly, very happy I didn't give on this one when she was struggling as a seedling. Good color, very healthy. Good to see there are no deficiencies or signs of stress which is just awesome! Besides the defoliation there really hasn't been any news. Feed: 1,5L every other day. Hope you all have a good one! One love!

Week 3: Hoping to set this one on cruise control for a couple weeks. Watch her do her thing. I’m trying to train her low and wide with as many bud sites as possible. I’ve watered with dechlorinated tap water at 6.5 PH

Dec 30: Beginning of the week Soil PH: 7,5 Light intensity : 100w (about 33%) The PH of my soil was too high @7,5 so my last waterings were at 6,2 to balance down. Jan 2: Put a little molasses in watering for a little iron. could help le Kosher Kush plant... Jan 4: mixed 1/4 cup powdered eggshells with 1/3 cup white vinegar and waited 10hr before mixing into water. Watered plants with that for calcium. Jan 5: 1 tbsp Epsom salt (for mag) + 10ml voodoo juice in 1 gal

What a fun experience! This was my first time trying a mixed grow style of synthetics and organic. I think I may have found my new go-to strategy. This definitely wasn't a perfect run by any means - as a matter of fact, I botched the feedings earlier in her life. However this grow definitely taught me a lot more about how to treat this strain properly. Now I'm running her clones in the 3x3x6. So the legacy will continue! Let's see how this strain does during the summer months! Cheers everyone! This has been an awesome grow. What I'm lacking in yield, I yet again make up for in quality. And I don't think yield will be an issue with the clones, they're week 6 veg - and quite massive! - RWI out!! 😁 😶‍🌫️🤑

SUMMARY: Nothing interesting this week...she's receiving 3.5-3.7L of late bloom nutes per day providing roughly 20-30% runoff each feed. She's still skinny and I'm thinking this one is going to be a low yielder all things considered. I do think that I was late introducing bloom nutes and this has hurt my final yield. DAY 79 ----------- Friday 12th March 18:00 I fed Jesus 3.2L of late bloom nutes which produced 620ml runoff (19%). [26°C/48%] DAY 80 ----------- Saturday 13th March 19:00 I fed Jesus 3.5L of late bloom nutes which produced 580ml runoff (16%). [26°C/48%] DAY 81 ----------- Sunday 14th March 11:00 I made 15L of late bloom nutes with rainwater and molasses. 5L at 5.8, 5L at 6.0, and 5L at 6.2. Sunday 14th March 18:30 I fed Jesus 3.7L of late bloom nutes which produced 840ml runoff (23%). [26°C/48%] DAY 82 ----------- Monday 15th March 11:00 I made 5L of late bloom nutes with rainwater and molasses at a pH of 6.3. Monday 15th March 18:00 I fed Jesus 3.7L of late bloom nutes which produced 960ml runoff (26%). [26°C/51%] DAY 83 ----------- Tuesday 16th March 18:00 I fed Jesus 3.5L of late bloom nutes which produced 1L runoff (28%). [26°C/51%] DAY 84 ----------- Wednesday 17th March 18:00 I made 15L of late bloom nutes with molasses and rainwater. 5L at 5.6, 5L at 5.8, and 5L at 6.0. I fed Jesus 3L of late bloom nutes which produced 420ml runoff (14%). [26°C/50%] DAY 85 ----------- Thursday 18th March 18:00 I fed Jesus 3.5L of late bloom nutes which produced 980ml runoff (28%). [26°C/50%]
