~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/7- Here we go with the new addition to the FastBuds family, Papaya Sherbert fem photo. I placed one seed in a glass of lukewarm tap water (non-chlorinated well water). Within 24hrs there was a root beginning to show coming out of the seed. I then placed the seed between two moistened paper towels that I then put in a vented plastic container. I put the container in a dresser drawer where it would be warm and dark. 5/9- When I checked on the seed yesterday, there was a substantial root about 1/2" long coming from the seed. I then planted the seed, root first with just the seed head exposed, in a 2" starter pot filled with peat that I pre-moistened with 6.5ph well water. I placed the starter pot in the bottom of a Solo Cup that I had cut in half. I then placed a clear Solo Cup over it to act as a humidome and placed it under the lights in the grow room. Today the little Papaya Sherbert showed her pretty little self and so begins this journey together with her! 5/12- Two days ago the Papaya Sherbet sprouted her first true leaves and today she's really showing some vigor and some impressive growth! Today I went ahead and transplanted her for the first time into a 2qt pot filled with pre-amended coco/perlite. Before placing the Papaya Sherbet into her new home I coated the hole with Xtreme Gardening MYCOS, then placed the Papaya Sherbet and watered her in. 5/15- One week from breaking ground and the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet feminized photoperiod is looking fantastic and doing great with a second set of leaves now out! She's liking her bigger pot and is really beginning to take off now. I should be able to do her final transplant, which will move her outside, next week as our weather is rapidly improving... How are you guys combatting gnats?? I’ve been sprinkling cinnamon, thinking of nematodes next. Gnats are the reason I was growing outdoors to begin with

Mimosa cake is my favourite strain. This was the biggest I ever grew and without any issues. Also the largest ever by weight, 1430g wet including stalk which should leave me with much over 200g on this 😍Cant wait to have her cured.

Es geht in den Endspurt, die Trichome auf den Headbuds werden langsam Bernsteinfarben. Die leicht beschatteten Buds haben noch einige transparente Trichome und dürfen daher ein paar weitere Tage an der Pflanze bleiben. Leider gab es in der letzten Woche in inneren von drei Buds beginnenden Schimmel. Buds wurden vollständig entsorgt somit (42g) Nassgewicht an den Pilz geopfert. Die drei weiteren letzte Woche geernteten Buds (46g Nass) waren nicht betroffen und trocknen schon für eine Vorverkostung. :) Die Headbuds werden aufgrund ihrer vortgeschrittenen Reife und steigenden Schimmelgefahr schon zu Beginn dieser Woche abgeerntet. Unglaublich wie massiv diese Buds gewachsen sind.

So at this time i will be running 2 tents. Ohh, this week and the end of week 3 was rought... I ran into a gnats problem in week 3, read more there. The way I "solved" my problem was a huge mistake, creating bigger problems. Gravel I put on top of soil kept moisture inside the pots, so I manage to over water my plants. NEVER PUT GRAVEL ON TOP OF YOUR SOIL! 🤦‍♂️ NEVER 😂 Big shoutout to guys who answered my question in week 3! Thanks for your help and support! So I remove all gravel and let all pots to dry completly before next watering. They bounced back very fast. Also I did LST training on them and manage to break up that one girl which had biggest over watering issues. Shit happens I guess... Btw its one of Amnesia strains. 25.6.25: Today is Harvest Day! I have cut down the plant and removed all the fan leaves as well as many sugar leaves. I'm hoping this makes the trimming easier, as I have 3 plants ready, and no help. So the easier the better! Let's see what the weight and smoke report are! This plant is absurdly frosty!! I'm definitely excited to be trying this one, beautiful buds too. Not big buds, but you can see the quality there. 1.6.25: Finished drying and trimming. All bagged buds totalled 82.7g / 2.92 0z. I think the quality of the flowers are top notch 👌 They smell just like strawberries and I have tested it today, it is really strong, whatever the strain is. Song of the week : ------- Day 43 - The 3 ladies are doing good under the neon and I can see the first pistils on each one. I also removed the 2 first nodes of each of them to have more energy for the upper nodes and prevent popcorn buds. The spaces between the nodes is pretty huge because of the light penetration : not very deep with this kind of lights. I was supposed to do an outdoor grow like I always do but a friend give me a 150w Hps kit only use one time so I'll maybe give it a try but just for 6 hours a day ( 12h out 6h in) to have a full 18h schedule and see the differences -------- Day 44 - I made a short video to show you the girls in they 60x60cm tent with they turbo neon and no airflow (And a white fly invasion ). The roots system looks strong and the roots you can see on video are not thin, I put it on the last Mr.B's feeding and the multiple transplants I did before the final pot 👉 Myth Buster : Autos can be transplant multiple time so no need to put them straight in their final pot if you now how to handle a transplant without breaking the roots 👍😁 ------- Day 47 - 22.11 - Today they received 1/1.5L of Mega Crop at 1.5Ec to boost them a bit and next week they will be outside during 12h then inside during 6h under a 150w Hps 🦎 ------- Day 48 - I put the 150w Hps inside the tent today and I hang it at 30 cm from the top of the plant which is way too high but I'll hang it lower tomorow. I also will start the indoor/outdoor switch tomorow so the Hps will only be on during 6 hours a day ✌️ I'm pretty impressed by how strong their are growing under only 110w , for a low light wattage veg it's pretty cool 😁

Happy I made it to harvest as I know that’s a lot of first growers issue. She’s sticky, funky, and chunky. Nothing bad to say. I definitely learned some things that I’lol be implementing next grow. Probably do another run of Autos from Mephisto as I have a few. But my goal is to get into the Photos, preferably the kushiest of the kushy lol. If anybody has any suggestions of some fire Gas, point me in the direction. More updates to come, so for the next week or so, just monitoring. Stay high growmies!

04/06/25: There’s not much to report today, which is exactly what I want to see at this stage. All five plants have recovered well from the transplant and topping, and they’re starting to look happy again. Leaves are upright, color is rich, and the overall posture of the plants suggests they’re back in growth mode. They’re beginning to bush out as expected, and I can tell the root systems are continuing to expand into the 1-gallon AirPots. Structurally, all five plants are still showing very similar growth patterns. The internode spacing and leaf size are fairly consistent across the board, and none of the plants are falling behind or surging too far ahead. That uniformity is great for managing the canopy later and suggests solid genetic stability across the seeds. If all goes to plan, I’ll top each of the four current branches in the next 4 to 5 days. That will give me a solid base for structure going into the final stages of veg. I expect that the final transplant into the 6.9-gallon AutoPot XL system will happen in about a week and a half to two weeks, depending on how quickly they root out the current pots. Ideally, I’ll be able to determine sex before that final transplant. That would let me cull any males and avoid wasting time and space in the larger pots. I’ll return with another update after the next topping session or if anything of note comes up before then.

Die Ladys wurden in ihr neues Zuhause gebracht und auch gleich in 7 Liter Stofftöpfe umgetopft ,desweiteren wurden sie auch gleich mit Mykoriza geimpft .Einen Tag nach dem einpflanzen kann ich sagen den Pflanzen geht es prächtig und sie fühlen sich anscheinend recht wohl. Update folgt... Leider musste ich eine Cream Caramel gegen eine S.A.D wo ich noch als Ersatz hatte austauschen weil sie komisch bzw fast überhaupt nicht wuchs.

Just changed waters and plucked some fan leaves.🌊✂️ After plucking the leaves of these girls my hands have an odor of the most lemony citrus scent that I have smelled in strains before. 👃 These mostly sativa hybrids are looking happy and healthy & I can not wait to see the results.😊
