Everything is looking good so far. They’re all done stretching and the cheese and black garlic have stretched the most. I adjusted each plant with boxes to create a more even canopy. Buds are swelling up nicely. The two black berry breath plants are looking swollen and fantastic. I don’t like the structure and bud size of the black garlic plants and will not be running them again. Although, they’re getting quite keify and the breeder claims they have a genetic trait that make them put on most of their weight late in flower. So far I’m not too impressed by their size. The seedsman Badazz OG cheese has got good node spacing and structure but has very little trichs and smaller buds. I was just running the cheese to test old European genetics and my bias is starting to confirm my bias. Dutch and Euro genetics are shit. The slurricane #4 is looking fantastic in terms of frost but the buds are lacking a little in size. I’m going to do the 21 day strip today. I should have done most of this defoliation earlier in veg but right now is still fine. Ice cream cake #1 hermed which isn’t at all surprising so I scrapped her. At least it gives me more space to get in and tend to the rest of the plants. I got a pump sprayer to get in a bit closer to the plants as well.

Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

This was a fun project that was a few years in the making and a year later to see if they would last a season for this upload to happen. Before any of this I would bike aorund town grabbing up all the old Ikea solid pine bed slats that I could find and storing them in the basement. I have a lot of wood down there, any size worked as long as I have enough of them. The hot days to find them were the first and last of the months because that's when people where moving in/out. I also kept an eye on the free section on local online classifieds as well. The entire purpose of this was to recycle as much off the streets as I could before buying anything to finalize the project. In the end I only bought sealer, screws and some takeaway/beers. All the wood was 100% free and salvaged off the streets of Toronto saving it from the dumpster bin. After collecting all the slats for about 2 years I was playing aorund with them on how I wanted to make this work. I had previously done a little project like this before but I messed it up and the boxes where crap. did not last longer then 2 seasons, they where thin and shallow as well could not grow much of anything in them. I Was talking to my friend who is renovating their house and we brainstormed some ideas on the boxes, I found some designs I liked online and said lets make something like this out of what I have here. We tossed out a few of the design features when looking at them as it would have been wasted wood and extra work not needed. If I had more wood them maybe it could have been an option but simple was the name of the game. They taught me what I needed to know like how the miter saw and sander worked, plus all the other tools I was using. They did help out with a table saw and creating the triangle support joints in the corners, They used some pine left overs they had while making a staircase indoors. I did not feel up to the task of using a table saw given all the relatives I know who have lost a finger to them. In the end we decided the design would be three boards high and take an alternating pattern on corners. layer one short, layer 2 long, layer 3 short. Went with a galvanized and painted deck screw so it can take the weathering. Ran into some problems like making everything level as some of the boards were warped and other ones had undesired aspects like knots and tacky sticker goo I could not remove. So I used them for the base that will not been seen so much. Clamped everything down and called it a day. Once it was all done and over with, I then brought them back home from my buddies work garage and started to seal them. I went with a boiled linseed oil as its a food safe option should the wood degrade into the soil I will plant in them. I will need to reapply it to the boxes year after year but the main coat is the most important one and I put it on 3 layers with a good dry in between coats. the inside of the boxes that where coated did not degrade at all as the sun did not hit them so it will not need a new coat just the outside. Overall the end result was very impressive for myself, I've never taken a woodworking class ever and It was a near perfect outcome for me. Heavy Duty Planter Boxes for all my gardening needs. I made a last min decision to add in a plastic liner to preserve the wood even longer and stapled that into the frame. it has held up quite well and may need replacing end of 2nd or 3rd year out in the sun. Almost there ..... 4 weeks to go... a little strange because I switched my super loud noisy ass metal 4 inch inline fan for a plastic 4 inch VORTEX brand inline fan and its great for being stealth but I noticed I developed a rust spore problem which is an air circulation issue I have my ph perfect and nutes dialed in I even started cleaning my roots with cannazyme its a dead roots nutrient that enhances the breakdown of old roots and keeps things regular. Now I am just dealing with strange orange colored rusty leaves but the bud development is great and stickier and stinkier than ever .... 4 weeks left for these baby's to swell up and puff out looking forward to this dry chop and trim then the final cure.....

Let’s go day 43!!!! Week went real well , girls started preflower so sometime this week I will be switching up the nutrients for flowering! We are stable and looking super healthy! Can’t wait to see what these ladies do this week! Hope you all enjoy !

So I think this was the 7th week or so but I flipped to flower with a 48 hour dark period around day 53ish. I opened the tent to neon budsites!

WEEK5/2F Die Guava entwickelt sich prächtig. Die Sonne hat sich leider erst ab Mittwoch gezeigt. Dann aber richtig. Mittlerweile hat die Guava ordentlich Seitentriebe entwickelt und streckt sich noch leicht. Mitte der Woche bekam die Dame einen Beutel Raubmilben gegen Thripse und einen Beutel mit Raubmilben gegen Spinnenmilben an ihre Triebe gehangen. Es gab auch ein letztes Mal Neemöl mit einer Baumspritze zur Vorbeugung gegen Mehltau, Blattläusen, Thripse und den ganzen Mistviehcher die der Pflanze schaden. Die Spitze wurde dabei ausgelassen weil die Blütenbildung da schon zuweit ist. Das Neemöl wurde vermehrt auf Blätter und Triebe verteilt. An Tag 12F wurden zwei Marienkäfer Marienkäferlarven in den Ladys verteilt. Es steht links neben der Guava eine Gelato und rechts daneben die die Lady#1 der GrorillaCookies aus dem anderen Report, auch wenn es unterschiedliche Genetiken sind, entwickeln sich alle drei wunderschön homogen. Schön mit anzusehen. Gegossen wurde an Tag 31/10F, an Tag 33/12F, an Tag34/13F und an Tag35/14F. An den Tagen gab es ca 1L. Höhe 73 cm

trichome development is coming along however I am worried that they might not make it until harvest. I will be starting 2 photoperiods along side 1 other auto on my next grow with suitable nutrients for my medium.

Gold Sativa is doing well. She is bulking now. Has a nice frost. She got a solution change as usual and ready to go for a few days. They are still plumping up nicely I’ve been only feeding ph water up until the end of this week. I’ve done a mix of ph’ing and not(laziness) started to notice purple leaves and buds last couple days. Just waiting for more green to disappear from the leaves.

These ladies continue to grow so tall with no signs of slowing down ok stress or nutrient burns. I never knew the autos would get this tall!!! Is this normal for them? Not sure they continue to grow and bud. I'm going to keep moving. I know it's too late to top them again. All is well. I just don't know how much higher my lights can go. I have a very very large tent and it's almost to the top. Can't complain. We'll see how they turn out. Happy farming
