Day 21 of flowerig going great. Gelato strain was too much bushy, so we had to defoliate it. Now all the works are done, only have to wait buds to get fat 😁.

Hello. This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of veg. This week went smooth enough. Earlier this week I saw a adult male from the rental house behind me trying to look through the fence to see how I was doing on my grow. They don't say Hi they just want to see, so I took a security camera from somewhere else on the property and put it up viewing this area and I haven't seen him since. I hope he or they get the message. I have been concerned that I would get ripped off from them or their buddy's because they usually have a couple of big party's each summer and anyone who was there and was talking about it could come back and break in and help themselves. So far I haven't been ripped off: knock on wood. The plants are stretching out nice. I gave a big watering earlier this week and I'm getting some big fan leaves out now, the roots must have found the compost I mixed in the soil. I would like to flower in a couple of weeks around June 1st so I'm going to try to stretch these girls out as much as possible before then. Just got the garden finished this week. I've planted, chard, lettuce, carrots, beets, beans, tomato's, cilantro, peas, potato's, basil, early squash, zucchini and pumpkins. I think the racoon ate my little broccoli plants when it was scrounging around for worms. 😒 Oh well. Chuck.

This little Blackberry grow is to finish up the seeds I had in the fridge for a few years now. Had 2 packs of 5 "buy one get one" and had 3 left over from the 2nd pack. Did not know what to expect but they all seem healthy and stable. The packaging is old school before they went all black. Will upload this into the fastbuds outdoor contest and see how it does. Germinated by scarification of the seed with an emery board then soaking in water for 12hrs, I added in the step of paper towel for another 12hrs then planted outside with myco in the hole. Watered in with some LABS "Lactic Acid Bacteria Serum [Lactobacillus]" and Transplanter MS-CS RootRescue. They all popped up within a few days after planting outside. Going to try and do this diary with only Liquid Feed by Trip Tonic, this is an in-house brand I picked up from my local grow shop. Have talked with other users on this site who are also in Toronto and they speak highly of this shop and like their products. The medium is fortified with some compost and its a organic pro-mix designed for veggies so it should have enough food in it for the first 3 to 4 weeks and will not need to use the liquid feed just yet.

Switched to my 4x4 tent with 400 watt bloom plus. Also added my first video of this diary. Plants have been repotted into bigger medium. Only the Blue Dream and Blue Haze will stay in this tent because they are both sativa leaning. The blue cheese will go back into my other custom cabinet for flowering. I keep them separate so I can grow bigger plants and Indica flowers for roughly 2 weeks longer than sativa strains .

Fo' Twenny here back with another update! I will be updating and uploading more photos through out the week. I hope you'll ride along and give me a follow! The deets: Feeding with .2 ml/gal of RapidStart and .2 ml/gal of SuperThrive, Adjusted pH to 6.5 and then add .25 tsp of recharge. 8/16 - 8 days post sow. All but 2 seeds have sprouted. I was especially concerned for the Melon Gum because I only had a 2 pack and both beans were quite pale. I gently dug around in the peat pellets and found the bean with a fresh, healthy tap root! I expect she should be popping up by tomorrow evening. The other bean yet to pop is the Jenny Kush. I was gifted 5 Jenny Kush seeds, and I will wait until tomorrow to see if she sprouts a tap root before popping another one. Hopefully, I will have more luck with the next one. Successful germination in 16 of 17 photoperiod seeds. With a total of 19 of 20 if you include the 3 autoflowering cultivars running along side. They're being documented in separate diaries and will stay in the veg tent when the photoperiods are moved into the bloom room. Go check 'em out! 8/20 Update: Melon Gum has sprouted. If you're not following my Zkittlez Auto diary, you missed that I almost killed this girl on accident. Graceful me, knocked over her solo cup and she got stuck to a sticky trap. Her stem split in half and I put a piece fabric medical tape to mend her and she is actually growing and doing well regardless of her injuries. All the girls, except Jenny have sprouted and are developing. I planted a new Jenny seed 8/18 and left the original in too, just in case. Chonga is doing nicely at 7", Cheecha still a little behind. The soil has been staying moist for awhile, even with light watering and I was worried about root rot. So, I let them go about a week without watering. After a light watering with the remaining 1 ml/2Qt nutrient/water solution (about 1 cup each plant), I took the plunge and decided to try Topping (or FIMing), which I did a few days after watering. I'm also concerned about soil PH. I've been testing it with the 3-in-1 tester, but it always reads about 7. I tried the thing out in pure vinegar, but it gave the same results. So, soil PH is anybody's guess. I eventually bought a digital PH tester for liquids. BIG CHANGE: On Day 27, I switched over to a new, 1200W LED grow light.

Week 8, Day 56, Day 12 of Flower. Well the girls are doing nicely again, however PK#2 is still smaller than PK#1. PK1 is 18” tall and PK2 is only 14” tall. Seeds came from same package, but PK2 sprouted 8 hours later. Both are receiving the same nutes. I did notice this morning that she did start to stretch since seeing her last night. All in all things are going well. I did notice a few fan leaves with a slight purpling so I will try adding a little more CaliMagic on the next feed. They are currently receiving 200ppm. Of CaliMagic. The last feeding was 660ppm total nutes, but 950ppm 1.9EC in the run-off so I gave them some Phed water to help clear some of the nutes building up in the media on the next feed which went down to 650ppm 1.3EC in the run-off. Thinking about doing a flush with some Florakleen, or should I wait until flush time at week 7 and 8 of flower when Trichomes are hopefully milky. All comments and suggestions welcome.

they are getting close too the end now there getting frosty. smells kinda like blue berry . the colas are densin up nicely . can't wait til harvest.

Overall I really enjoyed growing this strain. I got 2.75 (77 g) ounces of bud, but I also go the same amount of trim and larf (154 grams total for this plant), so it will be fun to make some bubble hash with this sweet, SWEET smelling plant :) .. will be interesting to grow her again with a different light and organic dry amendment nutrients vs the bottled nutes I used.

7/29 (Day 42)- What a fun and exciting experience this has been so far. I’ve already learned so much and the ladies seem to be doing well. Handling all the defoliation and LST I have been doing and bouncing back in no time. The growing climate has been great and super steady the last week, I’m switching over to my bloom nutes Monday when I flush and clean. They are definitely stretching now and the back left plant seems loaded with bud sites. I’m going to do some research and watch more videos on using a trellis net, I have on ready to go but unsure if I’m going to attempt it or not. 7/30 (Day 43)- Did some more defoliation and leaf tucking today, just trying to keep the canopy open as much as possible, but its a never ending task. They are really starting to stretch though and the back right gal is a bit ahead of the others and its showing more and more. Tomorrow is flush day, and I'm going to be be switching to the bloom nutes. All environmental conditions have been steady at 78 degrees during day and around 71 at night and my humidity is around 60 and 55 RH for day and night. Water temp is 68 and ppm around 900 now. 7/31 (Day 44)- Changed out the water this morning and started the bloom nutrients. They drank all day and are up to drinking about 4 gallons a day. They are really starting to pack on the size as well. All conditions are staying very steady and no issues at this point, hoping to keep it that way from here on out. Fingers crossed. 8/1 (Day 45) - These gals just keep growing and growing. I did a bit of defoliating two days ago and it already looks like it needs it again. Im going to give them another day or so unless it looks like airflow and no light are able to get through, but I worry about constantly removing things. I will wait and see how things are looking tomorrow afternoon and decide then. Everything seems to be in check and running great. As always tips and recommendations are very much appreciated. IVE MADE MORE VIDEOS BUT THEY JUST DON'T SEEM TO UPLOAD AND IT'S FAR TO SLOW TO DO IT FROM HOME 6/27 Made last week a five day week to get back on track. It's still overcast and rainy. It's not raining a lot bit it's consistent. Despite the weather the plants are doing phenomenal. I'll update later. It's 1pm. It's been raining consistently since 11. Just a sprinkle but it's steady. I'm going to begun uploading the weeks weather on my diary. I may start a new diary for the plants I light depped as they are flowering pretty good. Rain stopped and it's just overcast for now. I looked at some videos and did a comparison of videos one week ago and videos today and HOLY SHIT! WHAT A DIFFERENCE. Especially the light depped 10th planet. Well everything but that was the most significant difference. I'm astonished at the health and growth despite the crummy weather. Continued to rain. Just got harder. Plants are taking it but it's flooding underneath the pallets a little but it will be fine. The light dep however has me concerned. The 10th planet is looking spectacular. The bigger purple punch I'd looking good too. The smaller one though looks to have a pollen sack coming off one of the branches. Considering its not on the otherside I assume it's not just a swollen calyx. I don't mind chucking it especially if that means I don't hurt my other girls so I want to make sure. I sent videos to a few other growers and I'll add a question on here. Those three plants have been isolated from the rest for a few days due to rain. I have the suspect isolated alone until I can confirm. It sucks cause the light Depp was going good and the6ve all got little flowers. 6/28 Well that fucking sucks. ALL THREE plants I tried to light depp hermed on me. I could see male flowers. Luckily I had been keeping a really good eye on them and it was preflowers mostly. At least I caught it. One or two stamines on each plant. Would've been really easy to miss. Only one had STARTED to elongate into a stem so I think I caught it early enough. Plus since all this rain they've been kept in a different location then my big girls. Glad I did that now. Boy the roots looked good on those plants. I just grabbed the stalk and lifted and it came right out of the pot. I held it there admiring it for a minute. This sucks. At least the real plants are doing good. As far as I know. No male preflowers that's for sure. I've got some feedback from other growers and the videos are a little blurry but I had found a light leak and I'm certain these plants hermed. I know I could've tried to save them but I didn't want to risk it. I compared what I was seeing with Google photos and other websites. Aside from the larger ball with its stem, there were also several little bumps besides developed calyxes that were weaving into little buds. Trust me that I wouldn't cut down my plants if I wasn't 110% sure. I might've been able to "save them" but to me it's just not worth the risk. 6/29 I was second guessing myself pretty hard last night due to some responses I got on my light dep and messages I got from other growets. Made my anxiety horrible but I looked on several video's I'd taken again and I know what I saw. I felt better after that. This was after I researched and waited THREE days until I saw the ball on the stem and the groupings of small nubs under a fresh yellow flower. These plants were flowering good and it sucks to lose them. One MAY have been ok but one was a runt and had all the characteristics of a true hermaphrodite. They were only in 3's and I couldn't risk my harvest for an experiment. Still sucks. Oh well. Sun is starting to come out. Plants seem to be doing fantastic. I have one spot on a leaf that looks like a pillar munched on a leaf so I'll probably get the bt out soon as I have a dry day that I can apply it. I'll have to check the weather. I need to start a nute regiment but the plants aren't telling me they need anything yet. 6/30 I fucked up dates or dodnt do it yesterday or it didnt save right so I'm leaving this blank today is the 1st. 7/1 I have still only watered s couple times and I haven't had to feed. This week I'm going to start nutes. I had some external ersonal situations that have kept me from my plants. I'm hoping to get back on track. I noticed some pillar damage so I'll need to dig out the BT. This morning I saw this giant ground hog by my cage. Hated too but had to get rid of him. Of course some of the blowback landed on the leaves of one of my plants. I tried to clean it as best I could. Better than that fat bastard eating everything in one night. I broke a branch either falling around it or bulling through when I was pissed or I LST it the wrong way and the wind broke it against the tomato cage. Nice big branch too on top. I tried to fix it with duct tape but we'll see. The plants need me to spend sometime with them. I need to clean them up. Apply bt and give them their first feeding. I'll update as I go. They don't seem nutrient deficient by any means but I don't think it would hurt to start the nutes. 7/2 Bags were lighter today and if it wasn't going to rain tonight and tomorrow I'd he watering. Plants look great so soil isn't depleted yet I guess. They're growing rather rapidly. The branch I broke didnt make it. Had an idea it wouldn't but I had to try. I waited on the BT on account of the rain. I may go back over and change my mind and water with silica or a mild nute solution or maybe apply the BT. Depends what time I get back. I have some work I need to do over there. There's a few that I need to clean up the bottoms on. Pest damage is minor and limited to one or two plants and a leaf or two only. 7/3 More rain. It was supposed to rain this morning too but it didn't. We got .33in yesterday and through last night so I thought that was ok. Looking back on my previous diaries I'm doing things significantly different than before. I had used a lot more nutes earlier on. This morning I mixed two gallons of 2tsp of big bloom and fed it to the 9 plants in smart pots leaving the container plants as they have much more water in them. Looking back at other diaries I previously had, WPM and septoria by this time not to mention a shit ton of other pests I was fighting by this time. Since I poisoned where the cagexwas multiple times and sprayed the cage before it was moved I luckily don't have that problem yet knock on wood. I'm planning to apply BT tonight to deal with the moth larvae if there are any. I'm looking at plants around this area and im seeimg SOME septoria and pm on raspberry bushes and burdock so it is around. I made sure my cage is not by any other vegetation this year and is sitting on asphalt with the bags on raised pallets. Good thing I did or I guarantee they'd be flooded by now. I've been seeing multiple complaints from maine growers online (AND THEY HAVE HEALTHY PLANTS!) saying this is the worst year ever. Maybe they need a dose of fusarium oxysporum to keep them humble. This is maine. If you don't like the weather just wait five minutes. Meanwhile I'll be doing my sun dance hoping for sun. "Hard to grow cannabis with no sunlight" said another grower on my forum.
