This is a test-grow of Barbarian, a cross of AK-47 from Serious Seeds with Barbara Bud from from House of the Great Gardener (HotGG) made by Mat, the head-breeder of HotGG, in Canada. I had the honor of getting three test seeds at the Cultiva-Tradeshow in Austria and could not wait to start them after I got home. The two test-plants were grown on soil under HPS and alongside my normal grow of AK-47 plants inside a big Secret Jardin tent and fed with Advanced nutrients.

She´s amazing, really strong and so beautiful. I made some defoliation and she´s even´t get notice. Their buds are amazing, getting a lot of top buds who makes me dream with a good heavy harvest.

Start of week 4

Everything seems to be going as planned. First grow Auto strains : Ak auto (1) Kush Auto (x3) General hydroponics nutes.(1/2 strength) hps+led total of 815 watts. DWC 24h lights LST+topping on 2 plants. LST on 2 plants anything else you want to know hit me up. led at 24"

18/05/2023 Day 36 - Today i finally fed her after 1 week without feeding. Kept almost the same feeding from last week, just removed root juice and alg-a-mic and rised MagNifiCal to 1,5 ml/L Day 37 - Today she stretched nicely and i noticed her first pre flowers so preflowering begins, next fedding i´ll add 1ml/L Alga Bloom and Top-Max and will slowly rise up to 4ml/L Day 39 - Today i fed her again, added 1ml/L Alga Bloom and 1ml/L Top-Max and rised MagNifiCal to 1,8 ml/L. Has been hot and dry these days. (for my zone). Day 40 - She´s growing well. This afternoon i sprayed under her leafs with Alg-a-mic. Soon i´ll defoliate her, so i want to give a good dose of vitamin b so she recovers beautifully. Day 41 - This morning sprayed her again before sunrise. I wont defoliate yet. Pot is already kind of light, so tomorrow is feeding day. Day 42 - Today i defoliated, did some LST and fed her. Added 0,5 ml/L Alga Bloom, making 1,5 ml/L in total. 😃

Slowly but surely these purple, chunky buds have taken shape! Plus they’re hard as a rock, and they smell like cologne and sweet fruity candy. Extremely excited to chop her down within the next couple weeks as she ripens.

week 2 day 3. maybe 200 ppm is a bit too much im actualy seeing tip burn on 2 of them i might remove 50 % water and add reverse osmosis water tomorow to lower nute concentration to around 100 will see how night goes.did the 50% water change and readjusted ph now everything looks fine. also iv lowered water level to 1 inch above bottom of net pot to promote more root growth i need to buy a par meter asap im scared to lower my veg led lower.some little issue with minor tip burn maybe from stress from power outtage or potassium deficiency from nutrient lock out ph went to 6.7 for a day cant get it stable so far.seems like ph as finaly settle down go check my video from grow room.2 of them are doing really well but 2 are in bad shape newbie mistake my ph pen was way out of range went to 4.8 for 2 days i calibrated it 2 days ago flushed system and ran revive only for 2 days ph has been spot on at 5.8 since flushed again yesterday and started adding nutrient back in very low dose 1/4 strenght plants now seems to thrive as roots entered the system today they already are like 6 inch long light just shut off i might do another foliar spary with revive and sensi cal mag extra and wet betty to help with damaged leafs from bad ph pen mistake next week if they have not fully recovered already in case 1 of them does not make it i have a spare 1 growing in coco whos ready to drop in system im still learning feel free to leave comments

Spreading her out

Pure Ice cream clone is doing great. Super top heavy. I just switched her to ph water today. She is starting her fade. She has a strong sweet creamy smell just like the mother plant. She is actually finishing up pretty fast. Smells strong and looking good. I have the light turned down the last two week to stop it from getting too warm in the canopy. Smells like it worked well. Se acerca el final, falta por engordar pero no creo que falte más de una semana para que lo haga. En general una muy linda experiencia con esta cepa, es lo que decía el productor dutchpassion, una planta sin olor de hojas raras para que sea difícil de identificar en el exterior y estoy totalmente de acuerdo. Muy muy fácil de cultivar (creo me he pasado de fertilizante un par de veces) por lo que asumo que no tiene una dieta muy pesada para estar contenta. Muy buen grow este, ya veremos cómo acaba todo.

Monster zkittles, week 5/since germination, plant is doing fine, keeping nutrients at a bit low level till this week, will slowly be adding more to the menu. Added a teaspoon of plagron's bat guano as additive as top dressing... Watch out when using their bat guano, its very concentrated and strong, 2/teaspoons on 3 gallons and you wont be able to feed higher than 1.7ec

This was a beautiful strain to grow! Easy and very resilient to everything. One of these strains you can plant and walk away and know that it’s doing it’s thing pretty much regardless of it’s environment. I got a very decent yield off of it as well at 5.8oz dried. I grew it along side 3 other Ayahuasca Purple plants in the same tent/reservoir system and the other 3 were a flop compared to this girl. I was starting a new job mid way through flowering so I was away for a week and not blaming anyone else’s mistakes but when I came back my ppm was through the roof @2000+ppm. The Alien Tech didn’t even break stride, not so lucky with the “nutrient sensitive” Ayahuasca Purple though. Lol This was my first time growing from this breeder(Prism Seeds) and I have to say I’m very impressed. This was a freebie seeds and I think I will try them out again for sure. Cheers 💨

So this round I just lollipopped and didn’t strip the top at all, with better veg next round it’ll work better but I’m having issues with some plants not quite trellised how I’d like. Everything smells great, BCS,BD and WM are getting fat and PKB is frosty and tight. Watering is more of a chore than I’d like I think I’m just going to use some 5s for the next round . Week 13 in the garden, and it's been a week of contemplation and admiration. Despite my initial plan to flip the plants, I decided to give them another week in vegetation. It's like I'm sculpting a masterpiece, carefully grooming the plants into a perfect botanical sculpture. Working with my plants feels like art – it requires skill, love, dedication, and a sense of playing God. As I look at the tent, I can't help but feel a sense of pride and joy. These green beauties are turning out amazing, and I'm filled with overwhelming happiness whenever I get the chance to speak to people about them and show them off. But the time has come to take the next step in their journey. They're being flipped this week for sure, ready to embark on the next chapter of their growth. It's bittersweet, but I know it's all part of the magical process of growing these wonderful plants. Here's to Week 13 – a week of artistry, joy, and the promise of new beginnings. 🌿🎨
