Day 71, 29th of November 2021: Nice group strong girl! They are different in sizes and structure but all of them are lovely! We just getting closer to the final week as we just entered to the 5th week of the flowering stage. The only changes I made is the ventilation and the extraction fan is off at the same time with the lamp so only switches on when the lamp does. So this is the set up and and operation schedule now: ViparSpectra XS2000 is on full power which is 240W so 100% capacity. Ventilation: As I mentioned it is off when the lamp is off so 12 hours. When the lamp is on it switches on in every hour and off for one hour. The extraction fan is on 12 hours when the lamp is, and then it takes a rest with the lap together lol ;) Watering pretty much remains the same. Humidity quite is approx 50%, temperature as well approx 26-27 Celsius. Fertilization remains the same since last week, the BioBizz family raised up to be 2ml/L each so it is like 2ml/L of BioGrow, 2ml/L of BioBloom, 2ml/L of TopMax... see the ratio above. The schedule of the fertilization has not changed happnes 2x a week except epsom salt just 1x a week.

Day 14 and the Cali snow is growing pretty well. I upped the maxigro to .5 tsp per gallon and started them on a little armor si so they can build some strong branches. Still running them on 24 hour light and 24 hour irrigation. They are going to stay under the blurple lights for a few more weeks until I can get them in the big room under the quantum boards. I'm hoping they will flower around 4 weeks but my autos seem to enjoy staying in veg so we will see what happens.

This week I defoliated. Waited three weeks into flowering, to not stress them like I did last grow. She is rewarding me with some fat bud growth at many sites. I overwatered beginning of this week, but hey seemed to have taken it well. I did another amendment. The first one last week was a test, to see how they responded, they took it well. Just compare last week to this one. The amendment I did: - 5 liters of worm castings - 2 cups bonemeal - 1 cup wood ash - 1 cup microlife I layered this on top of my pots, covering this with bio-coco (pre fertilized) to ward of gnats. The gnats have been getting less and less. They don't like the coco that much, while humidity is just the same and last week higher since I did some more watering. I watered with the perma tea. While this is pretty acidic (PH 5), I can amend with more wood-ash, if you don't and follow this recipe, don't do too much wood-ash since it will kill off your micro organisms. I lowered the light diagonally since the outer right plant is longer and closer to it. The SP 3000 is still performing as you can see. Temps were a bit higher with the lights so low, so far the Orange Hill Special doesn't seem to mind. Im totally amazed with the results so far. Really impressed with this strain it was slow at first and took off and never stopped got about 4.4 oz would of been more if i didnt test it

I topped both plants once thus far, cleared their lower nodes up to the 3rd node on "nemo" and 4th on "v" names are easier then saying seed 1 and seed 4. added pics and video of day 34/35 for these two. hope y'all can stand the slight off hue from grow light. pics/vids are taken on phone camera thru grow room glasses, when watered the 3 gal pots are heavy and not easy to yank out for a picture.

I should have pulled this girl earlier. Also, no topping. She is also a heavy feeder. A lot to go into this girl honestly. I wasn't prepared for it and it showed. Small nugs and small smells. Started flushing last week. Next week Is the last. I'm really proud about these plants. I'll grow more times Tropicana bc Is a really good plants that grow likes a Monster. I'll do the harvest week in 10 or 14 days.

December 2nd: Lights are at 100%. Gave them BuildABloom twice over the week, since it looked like they were close to done stretching. Last defoliation of the grow.for these girls.

Finite finalmente le prime 2 settimane di fiore, da ora in poi ci sarà la parte cruciale. Ha un odore abbastanza forte molto dolce ,molto fruttato e tropicale. This week 2 of Veg went really well! Overall I just continued the same nutrient feeding regiment I used last week just without a few due to them being Organic amendments they'll break down into the Soil releasing slowly so I'll amend with them again before Flower. I used Fish Shit or Fish Emulsion at a rate of 1tsp per gal and gave them both a Liter of the solution. The ppm was 200 and EC of 400. Then, a day of just H2O. Next, I gave them the MaxiGrow at a rate of 1tsp per gal and gave them a L each. The ppm was 710 and EC of 1420. Next, I gave them just H20. Then, I gave them Real Growers Soil Recharge at a rate of 1tsp per gal. The ppm was 105 and EC of 210. Then, I gave them The Stash Blend at a rate of 1tsp per gal, PPM of 705 EC of 1410. Oh I need to mention my H20 is always at a PH of 7.0 and all my Nutrient Solutions are a PH of 6.2. due to my grow medium being Soil. That's all for this week but overall what easy growing, well spacing, evenly looking, and nicely branching plants!!

Coming up on third base! No issues at all from the recent wetness and really getting some nice purps on the GG4xGSC and the Green Gelato. Ironically nothing yet on the Ayahuasca Purple.

DAY 56 flowering: Hi all and welcome to any new visitors too. We are at the near end point now with this 1st run of the viparspectra xs1500. It has been a very pleasant experience and also a humbling one too. I never expected the performance it has proven and initially thought I would struggle to find a practical way of incorporating it into my set up and to see what it had got to offer. Deciding to go the route I have was more driven by the lights abilities to perform wat better than I anticipated. The 5 seedlings soon became 5 big ladies that would have been impossible to squeeze under the 2x2 flowering coverage They did however, get an amazing start right up to flowering beginning before I had to choose who stayed under the xs1500. The 2 that I mainly diary for the lights ability are the focus of the journal but I have to include a little on the other strains due to their initial support from the light and to also include the Gorilla cookies as they are amazing plants. They are both so close to ready now and sadly one of the mains has been hit with an little bud rot from its density. The buds smell so candy sweet now too. I will be keeping a very vigilant eye on these now. Grandaddys mimosa had continued her swelling from using the #Shogun Dragon force and is a perfect example of how the product works in the final 2 weeks of flowering , when usually they are fading out to finish. The buds have doubled in girth with an absolutely solid feel to them too . The light has helped create some very hard buds. No signs of whisky popcorn at all and each stack is a solid spike of flowering plant. For such a squat girl, she is so impressive. She smells so fruity with a hint of citrus to her and she is engulfing all the leaves that had been poking out previously. I think she will be a surprise yield next week !. The Northern lights girls are both doing really well too with the #2 mutant starting to ripen up finally now. She is still way taller than her sister but has sone long node gaps. #1 is totally different, she is a spiked monster compared and her colas are taking on a nice pale orange colour as they ripen. I do think she will go another week before being ready to consider harvest. She is still so fresh looking in a lot of places that I dont want to rush her at all. The light has managed to penetrate deep enough into the plant to create long spiked colas with no issues down low in the canopy with whispy popcorn to mention either. This is a very positive point to mention as some l.e.d do not get the penetration needed to do more than create a top canopy with poor light reaching deeper and not supplying the par they need. This light does not have that issue by a long shot. It penetrates like "Dirk diggler" and reaches all those important ladies parts !!!.... I am most impressed by the mimosa so far and as a 1st gen cross auto of a mimosa lemon Male sacks and a random multi strain seeding from its pollen release , I have ended up with a good amount of crossed autos from trusted and stable strains. It can be fun growing these out and so far this is the 3rd from the batch that I have successfully run. Aside from the benefits of the end products we get , the journey we go on can be an amazing and eye openening experience. If you start to investigate how these plants really live , love and die and how they use the network of available systems to communicate and build our much loved bud factories , you will find it hard to climb out of that rabbit hole . Finding out that fungi is not the man everyone wants to party with but IS a complex communication system used in nature to meet the needs of the whole forest/fauna in unison is life changing !!!!!. At day 57, they are now going into a 48hr dark period before harvesting . I did have a couple of bud rot issues in one or two buds due to the density of their growth. I am hoping to keepnot at bay during the low and slow dry after trimming wet this time. I will update their yield ect once they finish. Pics dont do them justice and they smell so sweet.
