Week two is upon us ! I have a new pocket size humidifier and it works great!! The low temperatures of my nights already bring out some purple on the leaves. Im pleased to see this so early in its lifespan. Although i have to be careful not to stunt her with too cold nights. I mixed a 1/4 of the recommended dose of nutrients for her first feeding. By doing so im reducing the risk of nutrients burn. To be honest i will get a few burnt tips on the firs set of leaves but id rather have a bit too much then less at this stage. The first leaves will drop first so i wont mind them being less attractive. The internode distance is good for a indica so far and i am pleased of the results so far. The glasses i use are yellow tinted and apparently they do a good job at correcting the colours for spotting deficiencies

----------------------- Update start week 4: ----------------------- We entered the first week of bloom for MBAP. Have had a perfect run-up and you notice that. She is ready to bloom abundantly. Besides the usual leaftucking, I also did some defoliation of the lower leaves and shoots. I have reduced the humidity in the room and we are now around 60%. New update later this week! -------------- End week 4 : -------------- End of the first week of flowering behind us. Everything is going well, good growth and budsites continue to develop. I further removed the lower shoots and did some leaftucking where necessary. She has developed into a beautiful, large and open plant. Ideal for her future bud development. I'm going to give her the chop sometime this week. Giving her one final watering today, then I'm going to let her dry out til harvest. She smells fucking awesome, super aromatic. It's quite obnoxious not being able to find anything on this strain. But I'll try and describe what she's like. For one, I'd say that once you've got an established plant, it's very painless to grow. I didn't measure waterings or nute feedings. Treated her like a tomato plant basically. The smell is incredible, super fruity with just a hint of skunk... and given the character this strain is named after(💩), let's just say that's a very pleasant surprise 😮 We're in the final stretch of her growth here. I'm not expecting too much yield wise by this point. I want an OZ, so I'm hoping this extra week will get her to chunk up just a bit more. Cheers fellow growers, I would recommend other Ethos strains before this one. But if you're accustomed to their Genetics, this is definitely worth copping for the experience. Really excited to see how she smokes! 🤑😎 Update 10/28/21: Something made me decide to give her a flush and maybe a week or two of extra time. I think she'll start doing the purple fade thingy, as I see purple on some of the tips of calyxes and sugar leaves. I hope for one crop like this every year.. Flushed her yesterday and took the updated pictures(the ones in the dark) today. Looks like she REALLY put on some weight between yesterday and today. I mean I had to stake her up, that's how chunky she's getting. The stems and branches look like they're on the brink of snapping 😳 Looking back, I don't think I've had a plant get this chunky by this point in flower. Makes me super excited I have more beans of this stuff. I may end up leaving a lower branch to chuck her into the veg tent post-harvest, I'm seriously that in love with this strain.

Flower has begun and things are starting to take shape. Small amount of stretch has begun and nutes have been switched to flower. 3 ladies are very happy and are starting to shoot pistils.

I do not delete my teas and let the plant pots dry out slightly before feeding.

For weeks 9-10-11-12: It was now May 2020 and the ambient temperatures combined with no exhaust fans were raising temperatures to almost 30 degrees celcius. Way too much. So I rushed to find an oscillating fan and also a so-called inline fan with carbon filter for the smells that started to develop and for exhaust of hot air, trying to control too high temps.

We are nearing the end of this grow and so far everything is taking shape very nicely. I did a quick 2 day flush with some florakleen from GHE and then got back to the bloom nutrients. I did this just to clean the roots a little and get rid of any unwanted salt build up. This will hopefully set us up for a strong finish. Really impressed with the marshydro fc3000 thus far. For next week i will push the EC levels quite a bit, remove any unwanted popcorn nugs and try set it up for a strong finish.
