No grow techniques yet. But, I'm thinking I need to do a little defoliation and LST this week. The growth after putting her outside is still blowing my mind. An inch a day! And, she is so hungry! I may have to move some plants around and scrog her out, too. My poor little greenhouse is only so tall.

1/11 - debating Scrog or no Scrog. I think it will be more trouble than just training with the rubber wire 1/12 - can't keep my hands off, but exercised moderation. I restrained 2 of the shoots off of the biggest top, im letting the others grow out so I can get a better grip. She will be massive short stack 1/17 - did a decent defoliation of some of the larger fan leaves blocking light and air opening up the smaller tops. I also bound the main tops further out to the edges of the pot. This weeks been hot and dry. I've been doing everything I can to keep humidity up. I havent been feeding as much but lots of watering. Some defoliation but not very much. The bud sites are plentiful & numerous. The top sites have long pistols so I expect her to have large swelling buds. The strawberry gorilla seems to crave lots of sunlight so to say so keep the LED near max for best results! Check back next week to see just how fast she grows & remember its 4:20 somewhere!!!!

The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Coop Poop, Molasses, Feather Meal, and Soluble Kelp are ml/gallon of soil top dressed. Everything else listed in nutrients is ml/gallon of water fed to plants without checking the solution Ph. Day 1 we had a high temperature of 87°F. We had over cast skies, some gusty wind, and rain. Luckily the thunderstorms missed us. The rain did water for me. Day 2 we had a high temperature of 81°F. We had a break from the rain and I watered about 4-5 gallons per pot. Girls are still drinking heavy. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 68°F. We had overcast skies and rain most of the day. I left the house in the morning and was out til the night. I came home and a thunderstorm had wrecked most of the garden. Day 4 we had a high temperature of 72°F. The sun came out and it was super humid. I watered a few gallons as the pots and ground were still soaked. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 78°F. Skies were mostly sunny and other than the powdery mildew thriving in the humid rainy weather these girls are looking and smelling very good. Day 6 we had a high temperature of 70°F. Skies were mostly cloudy to partly cloudy. It's been very humid. I watered about 4-5 gallons. Day 7 we had a high temperature of 70°. The chance of rain was 50%. We caught the rain again. It was off and on most of the day. It was misty when it wasn't raining. I fed the number 2 plant 80ml molasses poured on top of soil and let the rain wash it in. Despite the major challenges with weather, this week was a success. These girls are really loud. They have a wonderful watermelon smell. One is straight watermelon funk. The other has a noticeable melon smell but the glue peppery, spicy, gassy smell is dominant. The powdery mildew has been the biggest challenge. This weather is just dominating my efforts to keep it sprayed off. The Ozarks make for a challenging outdoor environment.

Hello everyone week 8 has passed ☀️ They are very well growing at fast pace and with a beautiful green colour on the leaves🤩a lot of buds everywhere🍋 The weather is perfect this year a lot of sun,not too High temperature and the humidity around 50%😎 Some defoliation just 2-3 leaves max to let the sun penetrate the lower buds✂️ Homemade nutrient 100% bio🍌 I force the plants to flower in my garage 100% lightproof😎 So every morning and every night i remove all the plants from my garage at the same hours 💪 See you next week 🤩

Day 61: I left them in darkness for 3 days and just switched on the lamp for 12/12 with today the foirst day of the 9th week. Fertilization goes on the same days with the nutrients above and water intake approx 250 ml per plant per day. Nice green color comes they always look nice after darkness :) Lets' go. Day 66: Growing growing growing...

Transfer to 3-gallon pot

Esta semana el cambio en los cogollos es mas que visible. Se han bañado en resina y estan cogiendo colores morados tanto en las hojas como en el propio fruto la mayoria. Al subirles el co2 a 1100 ppm estan consumindo mas agua y generando mas humedad e tenido que enchufar el deshumidificafor al maximo para mantener la humedad entre el 40 y el 50 por ciento. El olor es impresionante para faltarle 1 mes por delante mas o menos... los tonos a naranja acida son claros... como si fueran orange sherbert 🤷‍♂️ pero desde luego no me quejo porque es muy pero que muy notorio. La temperatura la mantendre entre 26 y 27 gradosasta las dos ultimas semana de lavado de raices que la bajare a 24 grados para que compacten los cogollos. Y la EC la mantendre a 1.8 una semana mas y las fos ultimas semanas de aporte seran a 1.9 y 2.0 respectivamente.

This week started strong. Some small concerns due to small orange spots appearing on fan leaves which on researching indicates a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Will add a small amount of cal mag to their next feed

This is the 8th week. Thursday will be 9 weeks of 12/12. Some trichs are amber. They just added a good bunch of girth over the past few days, but most of the pistils are red now. The rest of them have been dropping leaves consistenly but the canopy remains full so they must be putting out more leaves. I just flushed to 80% runoff and found out that I had 1200ppm. I just got an ec meter but my last reading said closer to 600 so idk what happened there. I flushed until I had runoff ppm of about 150. Now they're back in the grow tent. I don't want to keep assaulting them with my microscope. I think they're ready. Just gonna let them settle another day or two to dry out a bit. I took one small branch off the small Wedding Cake plant on Thursday and I've just been watching it dry on my counter. It's been 5 days and the stem snaps but still leaves a fiber connecting. I put it into a small jar with a 64RH thing. I just want to try it. It already smells amazing. The leaves on the big CBD Blue Shark plant are going really yellow and some other colours are starting to come out as well. The buds all fattened up and got more frosty again. I was worried they were foxtailing but they got more calyxes underneath the peaks and have been making more of a pyramid shape. They're really close to peak. Harvest day will be March 17 or 18. March 17 1023pm chopped and hung after lights off all day. RH was 65% before I chopped and 50% after I closed the window and cut the plants off the saturated pots. I did a wet trim to prevent mold. The buds are sticky af. Gonna hang them to dry for 7-9 days before curing in jars :) March 18 : checked the RH when I woke up and it's chilling at 45% 😎 March 19 : just checked to see how they were drying. There are seeds in every plant. RIP I'll update when I put them in jars and again a few weeks later for final review. Overall it was a good grow despite the rocky start and a good introduction to the mainline technique and my new grow space. Next grow I should have everything pretty well dialed in. March 23 They were hanging for 3 days. Rh was around 45, then spiked to 65 overnight when I forgot to turn the fans back on. Temp was high at around 26.they felt wet after 2 days, and bone dry after 4 days. The stems still didn't snap but I put them in jars anyway. A day later, jar RH was 50%. I burped all the jars and there was a smell from the new jars. I took all the weed out, washed out the jars, and did a dry trim on the weed. One of the Wedding Cake plants must have gone hermie. I didn't see any bananas and didn't even realize there were seeds until the very end. The seed pods looked just like calyxes while the plants were growing. Many of the nugs are unusable. Under the sugar leaves are just layers and layers of seeds. Some weren't hit that badly. The CBD Blue Shark is much better off but still has some seeds. I'm trying to stay positive. It's a bit of a shock though. I'm anxious to try the finished product. If the flowers at least taste good and have a good effect, all is not lost.

First week, growing a automatic "Borrachinha" (Haze x Manga Rosa). Growing outdoor taking about 6hs of direct sunlight with a HID 250w Lamp (Another 12hs).

Week 1 of flower is finally here. Tons of growth! One more foliar application of Chitosal this Saturday. These plants need a thorough cleaning underneath at the two week point to allow flower initiation without stress. I will be watching closely for deficiencies in laughing Buddha and blueberry. With the size of the plants a heavy feed schedule might not satisfy requirements. I see a noticeable increase in the quality of plant growing directly under the Hortilux in comparison to the mars hydro supplemental lighting. I am debating adding flora nectar to my nutrient regiment to help in the flavour profiles. I have recently added terpinator from Rhizoflora to increase resin glands on bud structure. I can’t wait to see flowers develop, am hoping for a heavy yield from laughing Buddha and blueberry

9/17 - Day 30 Flowering! Both shooting pistils with Mace pulling ahead of GG's schedule even more. GG started showing what appears to be a P deficiency on largest fan leaves. Took it as a sign to feed for BAS nutrient tea and bottom feeding some Buddha Bloom. Mace shows some mag def, increased calmag. 9/18 Added slight LST to GG, mostly to guide the main cola/stalk away from growing straight into the light. Elevated blumat res to increase warer rate. 9/23 - Day 36 Humming along! Added pics.

Day 200 18/11/24 Monday It's her last day today of light, no more watering. She will then enter 48 HR dark period. Her trichomes have reached a nice amount of amber's, and flooded with cloudy trichomes... The end is so close 🤤😋😂 The smell is intoxicating, sweet pungent guava fruity smell. It's amazing. Seeing her colours fade out on the fans is like watching a sunset. Deep oranges radiating against her red veins, with purple and violet tipped buds, engulfed in trichomes and orange pistils, but she holds a deep dark green underneath in the core of the buds. She is a menace to look at 😈💞 It's been fun to grow this, and I won't lie, trouble free. Easy with nites she took what I gave, next time around I'll be lollipoping a shit load more to encourage them fatter tops 💪💚 Sorry for the shit quality video this week so far, soon as she enters her dark period I'll get some nice flash pics and video tomorrow and upload 🙌💚 Day 201 19/11/24 Tuesday She entered her dark period at 5am this morning. She is still relatively moist so the next 48 hours should be fine to dry off in the dark too. Noticed a couple more mildew spots on leaves, removed these now. Don't want it wasted in the last 2 days 🤦‍♂️😅💚 Next update will be the chop on Thursday. Updated pictures 📸💚 Day 203 21/11/24 Thursday Its finally time 🙌!! She has had 48 hrs of dark and more mildew started to set in so thank goodness I chopped her today!! Have not had time to weigh her yet, but wet trim, and deeper wet trim of sugar leaves affected with mildew have been removed. She is now hanging in tent to dry, with heat mat, and extraction on low. Humidity is 66% and 18'c. Her colours have deepened and her aroma is potent!! Strong sweet floral smell , similar to the perfume 😍 Uploaded pics and a short vid of before the chop. I don't know where to start and I must admit I'm completely overwhelmed by this beautiful beautiful plant ❤️❤️❤️ Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, I'm so happy 😍😍😍 She is a blessing! Excuse the outburst, but she is magical ☀️ I applaud you guys at Humboldt for creating such a wonderful strain 🙌 Some details upfront, before I rave some more: - 134 Days in total: 70 Days in Veg, 64 Days in Flower with 128W LED in a 60x60x160cm tent - 7 Days Drying regularly, 9 Days Drying in the Fridge - 432g - Wet weight with stems - 103g of those for Fresh Harvest Infused Oil - 190ml Olive oil with 30mg/ml THC & CBD - approx. 20g dry (for dry weight calc.) - 87g for the DrZiggy's Low And Slow Drying in the fridge - 20g dry - 242g for regular Drying @50% RH and 22°C - 55g dry - 30g dried sticky trim in the freezer Summary of my growing experience with this strain: She takes well to massive training and a little neglect in the beginning, meaning she recovers well, which is what I want 😊 I didn't experience any major deficiencies. She had a little nitrogen deficiency during the later veg phase, which she showed with lighter green leaves. I blame this on my long veg time and my pot size of only 11l. She consumed all her soil and nutes by the end of veg. I will keep that in mind for my next grow. Since I increased my nitrogen levels so close to flowering phase, I overdid it a little on the nitrogen which showed a little bit during later flowering phase with downwards clawing leaves. So I will be more careful with nitrogen especially while transitioning into Flower. I did not flush this plant and she smokes already beautifully mild after only a couple of days of curing. Drying her took 7 days in the tent and 9 days in the fridge. She crusted up with lots of stickiness while drying and gave off a good bit of scissor hash & kief when trimming. Smoking her is a great and different experience to me. It's my first time with a 1:1 strain and I can definitely notice the CBD content. She shows in a very well balanced body high with a slight and gentle knock on the THC door. The first couple of days I felt a craving for higher THC which settled down after only a couple of days. Very interesting and definitely worth growing. So you guessed right, I totally recommend growing this beauty. Especially if you are interested in exploring a 1:1 THC:CBD strain with all its magical medicinal values 🙏 Why I grew this strain: Like @Experimentgreen on here, I grew this strain for my Mama ❤️ She is open minded to trying to solve some of her health issues with these beautiful plants and the magic they bring but she also likes to have a bit of fun, she doesn't mind. So a 1:1 strain was quite handy. She suffers from neuropathic pain, arthritis in her joints, restless legs and insomnia. All very relatable issues and perfectly suitable to be introduced to some good CBD and THC content. She already has a little tolerance, since she is treating her restless legs with gummi bears I made with a strength of 1.5mg/gummi bear. This small dose already helps her on a daily for her restless legs. Beautiful 😍 So with this special mission in mind, I wanted to process the plant with only the very best options and create Cannabis Oil (Capsules) for my Mom to take. I chose a method called "Fresh Harvest Infused Cannabis oil" by the wonderful member SweetSue over at 420magazine: https://www.420magazine.com/community/threads/fresh-harvest-infused-cannabis-oil.363371/ I hope it's ok to relink, no need to duplicate already existing and well researched content, right? I will not go into detail and def. recommend reading through the whole thread. I only document the short version here, but feel free to ask me, I'm happy to share my experience. The oil I made has 30mg/ml of THC and CBD. That's a good value. I calculated the strength the following: 75g fresh Flower in 200ml Olive Oil - with 10% CBD&THC 85% extraction efficiency with the infusion method 85% * 10% THC&CBD = 0.0850 0.0850 * 75g = 6.375 gram of available THC & CBD 6.375gram * 1000 = 6375mg/THC 6375mg/CBD 6375mg/200ml = 31.875mg/ml CBD & THC I created capsules with 3mg per capsule. We are currently trying to find the right dose for her. She started taking one capsule 60-90min before bed for 3 days now and will increase by 1 capsule tonight. We continue until a max dose of 15mg/day but always re-evaluate how she feels. She's documenting her experience quite cute. Very heartwarming and powerful. So far she sleeps better and she falls asleep faster, which she hadn't done in a long while. Onset is pretty precisely between 60 and 90 minutes. She has not had any restless legs so far. I'm excited for her and can't wait to see where this takes us. I also made her a salve/creme she uses as a topical on her joints. When she uses it early enough, before the big pain hits, she feels it helps. Of course this is not a science study and everything is purely based on personal experience. I thought I share, in case anyone is interested, also I want to give back a little, since I consume so much knowledge from all over the internet, including here, so thanks 🙏

Chug chug chug! I think I have about a week or two left for most of them and probably like 4 of these will need an extra week or so aha. Frosting up beautifully; the camera does no justice! But I believe I should start reducing my feed or either flush with molasses and kelp like I’ve grown fond of doing come close to harvest time. Again the smells emanating from this tent is so beautiful, candy sweet orangey smells 🌬️🌬️🌬️
