We harvested one of the Tropicana XL girls , this is going to be a weird entry because I decided to not make a harvest entry till the other one lady finishes. Unfortunately because of my sticky fingers from all the trimming I did not make many pictures/videos of the grow itsels, to fill this void I decided on including the harvest videos and photographs. Although the final weight will be summed up in the final harvest. We finally see that our problem with the plants may not a deficiency but overfeed...decided to leave the reservoir as it is for this week and add only fresh water next week we will flush the system and for seven days the girls will only drink water. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The SE7000 runs at 520 Watt and about 33cm from the canopy and is doing an astounding job. fungus gnat issue resolved with some Raid earth blends. Predatory mites deployed into the canopy to eradicate a 2 spotted spider mite bloom. Can't wait to plant this outdoors for the season.

Seventh week, day 46, keeping on cropping and LST, dominant colas in #1 have been fimmed and #3 has been topped. The stretch should start within a few days. Feeding schedule is going to change just after the stretch.

12/30/23 - Day 54 - Hello All! I started this week a day early. I wanted to update everyone on something I have been thinking about a lot. Curing. I feel if there was a hole in my growing skills it would be curing. Last grow there was more than I had anticipated. I was not set up for curing 1 lb. I threw in an audible at the last minute. It worked out but I know I can improve with some trial and error and hands-on experience. So after reading a ton, and going off of some of my prior builds for drying, I came up with this design. I have a controller that will turn the air on and will run when the contents inside the box hit whatever RH% I want to set it at. I think the first week I will set it for 78%RH, then every couple of days go down a % until I hit 62%. The thought is that if the bucket gets above the set RH% then the air will kick on and distribute air across the buds until the RH% is back down to where you want it. It will force the humidity out. I won't need to worry about burping. It will happen on its own.... in theory. Ill update tomorrow with some pictures after the water change. 12/31/23 - Day 55 - Everything is looking good. The water change completed this morning while I was in the shower. Its adding nutes now and will do so over the next hour or so. She is starting to get stinky. I had to add the extra carbon filter to the room. I've got some pics up top of that. Happy New Year! Next time I post it will be in 2024! Have a great night and be safe! I got a comment on the bushy-ness and I got self-conscious and gave her a trim. Lol I have been going bath and forth for a while and that gave me the push to give her a little trim. Last week, first of flowering, was outstanding, I could water the girls regulary and the work paid off they stretched a lot and are looking super healthy. The girl right below the upper fan is suffering a bit with the shadows and is notoriously shorter than her sisters, I will need to rethink the air circulation for the next grow. Another concern of mine is their height, hoping they dont stretch anymore as the lights are already at maximum possible height inside tent and there is only 20cm gap between it and the plants.

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend, it was a good week for the ladies in the 5X5, they are all starting to stack flowers and really starting to distinguish their own smells. The Bubble Runtz has the most indica dominant looking colas and smells absolutely amazing. The Sundae Driver is looking like she is gonna have the fattest colas and be the biggest producer. I am really hoping I get the red phenotype of the Red Hot Cookies, and both the Green Crack and Durban Nights are showing the most Sativa characteristics and looking great. I now have the Medic Grow Light cranked up to 100% in F1 mode and am also using the UV/IR for 30 minutes per day prior to lights out. I am running a 12/12 cycle and feeding the same mix of GH nutrients which include Silica, CalMag, MaxiBloom, and Bloom Booster, with additional food grade Hydrogen Peroxide in the reservoir to keep algea growth to a minimum. I mix one 5 gallon bucket of nutes per day and clean my reservoir once per week. My pump is set to auto feed the plants every 5 hours after lights on, and I have a gravity self draining runoff setup I built. Not much to do from here on out, just keep the reservoir clean and full, a little defoliation, and 5 minutes per day to mix a bucket of nutes.I hope they get fat in the next few weeks and then I have about 7 people lined up to help me trim, I will throw everyone two zips for the help. hoping to do the wet trim in a day. Heute ist ein aufregender Tag im Zelt! Meine beiden Hybriden Brain Damage und High Mars scheinen sich unter den Mars Hydro FC 1500 Lampen pudelwohl zu fühlen. Die Blätter sind sattgrün und kräftig, ein Zeichen für die optimale Nährstoffversorgung durch das Hesi Hydro Zuchtschema. Der pH-Wert liegt bei perfekten 6,2 und der EC-Wert bei 1,7. Die Temperatur im Zelt ist mit 25 Grad etwas höher als ideal, aber die Klimaanlage läuft auf Hochtouren, um sie zu senken. Auch die Luftfeuchtigkeit von 65 % ist noch etwas zu hoch, aber der Luftentfeuchter ist bereits aktiv. Die beiden Ventilatoren sorgen für eine gute Luftzirkulation im Zelt. Heute Abend wird es dann noch mal spannend, wenn der Chiller für die Wassertemperatur eintrifft. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich die beiden Damen in den nächsten Tagen entwickeln werden!

2024/01/20 : as it survived, shiva skunk got a decent pot (1 gallon smartpot 50% canna coco pro / 50% hydroton) and 3 others are going on LST... 3 days growth : afghani #1 - 19.0 cm (+3.0) sensi skunk - 17.5 cm (+4.5) hindu kush - 16.5 cm (+3.0) shiva skunk - 11.5 cm (+2.0) 2024/01/23 : shiva skunk looks bad, with leaves going down and yellowing... it didn't like its transplant. The others are looking OK. I may have seen first pistils... The heights are : afghani #1 - 22.0 cm (+3.0) sensi skunk - 18.5 cm (+1.0) hindu kush - 18.5 cm (+2.0) shiva skunk - 11.0 cm (-0.5) 2024/01/24 : spayed with Foliar Spray from B.A.C. last night, don't know if it was OK for shiva skunk, we'll see. 3 others are preflowering without a doubt now. afghani #1 - 24.0 cm (+2.0) sensi skunk - 20.0 cm (+1.5) hindu kush - 21.0 cm (+2.5) shiva skunk - 11.5 cm (+0.5) 2024/01/25 : shiva skunk is struggling but it's not done yet. They are starting to grow fast and healthy . (Ayahuasca plants are showing good and healthy growth more than i expected. Wile the stardog ( the bigger ones are still suffering a little), just added 2 co2 bags just to try out how will it work , ex-el foilar spray aswell is working fine)

the cycle has come to an end, the plants have been harvested and are being cured. the mother yielded 421 grams of dry flowers the clones yielded 303 grams of dry flowers. the variety changed its smell during curing, it became even more pleasant, the smell of garlic is not felt, fruit spices, very complex. the variety is generally very strong, not suitable for beginners and for daily smoking. I am very glad that such a rich harvest came out.

Day 135. Girl stinks a hell, cant move her to smaller tent and my new fan is delayed, so is new diary. Still in doubts what to do, dont want to postpone next run deep into summer, too hot at mines ... Day 137. Girl was moved to new home, humidity was at highest 50, hope during night i wont get bud rot, have no outfan still... Day 138. Girl was fed with last nutes, from now just phed water, hope she will last 3 weeks minimum. Have a feeling that she dont like it, but got humidity in mid 40ties maybe we will make it ;) Day 140. After filter instalation i created negative presure, plus inside fan moved air and tent was too small for this girl, her walls were breathing, so one head rubed heavily, all glued to flat ;)) Had many budrot cases and they were starting from a lot smaller incident, prevention is the key, plus i want to try out that stinky beuty ;)

12/10 Week 11 Wow last week on Layla so bread and water hold the carbs for her now on. Doubt if Maggie will be finished but may be forced to move her on anyway, we will see. I would hate that Gotta decide soon on feeding her as they will need water tomorrow 12/11 Its decided Maggie will be allowed to finish off and I will find a way to keep em all happy. Something special may be happening there, want to see it. Layla though is about done just some ripening and then harvest. one gal each @6.4, Layla just water, Maggie got the PK boost 12/ml but remember there is a good bit of Dr. Earth still in the pot so cant really starve em. Update Ok here is the plan. Another grow in veg has yet to get into flower which is great though its due just any day, feeding it some bloom nuets in the mix to keep it in veg... we hope. But when it goes into flowering stretch at least one needs to rotate into the flower tent so harvest Layla, one may remain in the small tent till Maggie goes. Best I can do 12/13 Some camera time with lights on just getting used to it. Canopy looks great guys considering whats in there LOL 12/14 Just pics and we have decided to let these go as long as they want as the other grow is happy where it is for now. After looking close there are still some clear tricones on both so waiting is it 12/16 Maggie's buds have gotten so heavy I had to make a quick trellis out of 3 ft stakes and twine to support them and give the rest of the tent room. Seriously thinking of dropping Brandy from the grow totals, she was just so stunted just one of Laylas buds is going to out produce her.

I am constantly feed this girl and she constantly shows signs of nitrogen/magnesium deficiency. She is a feeding machine. I am going to try and up it somewhat as she is showing more defficency. Never the less she is coping well, still recovering from leaf burn but everything appears to be OK at this minute.
