Placing a dehumidifier or humidifier in the grow box turned out to be ineffective when both devices have their own automated settings. For instance, a humidifier set to 55% humidity works within a ±5% range, meaning it waits until the humidity drops below 50% to turn on and runs until it hits 60%. Since its sensor refreshes every 30 seconds, it might show 54% one moment and jump to 61% the next—not exactly stable at 55%. The dehumidifier behaves similarly. To achieve more consistent results, it’s better to rely on a hygrometer inside the grow box and use “dumb” devices that simply turn on when powered. Connecting these devices to smart outlets provides more precise control. For manual control, I maintained around 55% humidity by turning the humidifier and exhaust fan on and off via phone. Most moisture and aroma are released during the first three days, then taper off. The common rule of “when thin branches snap, it’s dry” led me to overdry my buds. A more reliable method is to monitor the hygrometer. When humidity stabilizes after the initial rise, wait one more day and then jar the buds. Rehydrating Overdried Buds: Overdried buds can be revived with a small piece of mandarin (or orange) peel, about 2.5x2.5 cm. Thoroughly wash the peel (even sanitize it if needed), cut a square, and place it on top of the buds in the jar. In my experience, this brought the humidity from 46% to 62% within 4 hours. Afterward, burp the jars for 15 minutes and monitor the hygrometer. If the humidity drops below 55%, return the peel for a few more hours. Once stable at 60-62%, remove the peel and continue curing, burping the jars twice daily for 15 minutes. As for humidity packs like Integra Boost or Boveda, I used them because I had some lying around. These packs are designed for 12 grams of product, so they don’t make a big difference in larger jars. If you burp jars daily and gently rotate the buds, they’re not really necessary. Trimming and Results: After 7 days of drying, I decided to trim dry this time. It turned out to be somewhat more convenient—everything gets covered in resin anyway, but the remaining leaves easily fall off, speeding up the process. I went for a tight trim, removing as much as possible. During the process, I felt disappointed seeing how little remained on the branches. The buds turned out airy and small, and I started cursing American genetics halfway through the trim. However, when it came to weighing, the results were surprisingly decent. Considering the buds' poor appearance, they’re not going to impress anyone visually, so it might have been easier to shred everything and use it for extraction. I don’t have extraction equipment, so I’ll make cannabutter from the trim, and the buds can rest in jars for now. Takeaways: Use a proper hygrometer for humidity control, not built-in sensors on humidifiers or dehumidifiers. Overdried buds can be easily rehydrated with citrus peel. Daily burping and rotation are sufficient for curing without humidity packs. Dry trimming can be faster and more convenient but may highlight issues with bud density. Despite underwhelming appearance, high resin content makes the strain great for extraction.

Ladies and gentlemen today's day 43 and as you can see this girl is happy and healthy.. thanks to the good people at Zamnesia Seeds for making this grow possible.. more from them in the future for sure.. now back to the plant she has been a breeze from the beginning up until now.. first three four weeks she fed off The Roots organic soil then I top dressed with terp tea bloom and swap from silica to recharge every other watering..PH is around 6.3 .. at first I was upset about switching to organic but now I'm thinking it's a good thing because I'm able to fit four different plants in my tent versus one really big plant using synthetics.. I like variety in my life so I am happy... I typically grow one photo at a time so I might stick with synthetics for that but for my autos this seems to be working.. First sign of mold formed. I cut the branch, remove moldy bit and drying it. I needed to get her inside as soon as possible, so this made me harvest the Peach Puree CBD faster as she was using the lights, I brought the church in and put her next the peach for her final night, you can see her in the 3rd picture. I needed to do some super cropping to get a more even canopy so that the light gets as many buds as possible. Was still not happy with how the lower branches are getting barely any lights so I did some foliation and tied the lower branches so they are higher (you can see some side ways branches in the video, that is because I pulled them in). Had to some reflective material lying around, so I wrapped that around her and she is looking very comfortable in her new home now. I've put some hay which I had laying around on the soil with some leaves I cut to act as some mulch which could be why she is drinking very little water, haven't had to water her since I brought her in 3 days ago (mind you she was under a lot of rain before that).

What can I say? That gorilla girl is more than efforts, even with a 70% working light it keeps growing green mass, buds are heavy and tasty, smoke gets high good with a plant not even close to be done. Last week the watering raised up to 2x times, lower branches started growing much better. Waiting 1-2 weeks more for a harvest In the end of week 7 I can see that there is no yellow leafs, I give water twice a day, she still keeps growing and being cool :)

After my first successful grow, I'm starting another one with some fine seeds from RQS. Let's do this! 20.12. - I've planted the germinated seeds into the soil. I hope they'll all sprout 🌱 22.12. - 2x Apple Fritter and 1x Creamatic sprouted 🌱 23.12. - 1x Creamatic sprouted 24.12. - Another Creamatic sprouted, however one Fritter is dead. ⚰️ Replacing with one Green Gelato 27.12. - Today I've planted the Green Gelato seed into soil. Other are looking really good 😊 28.12. - Green Gelato sprouted 🌱

Plants are doing well, no bird attacks and taking off in growth. I'm happy with the progress and will be starting the liquid feed next week. First time using TripTonic branded nutrients, should be straight forward as long as I keep my numbers in check. Will be feeding once or twice a week and the rest will be just water.

Its really perking up in flower, and the blueberry smells are ready coming out!
