A lot has changed since I started this grow, switch from super soil to coco in a drip to waste. I had started maker her a large bonsai plant in soil but had stopped for a while after transplanting to coco, her growth is was so incredible that I decided to work on her and bring her down a bit. Ever since the switch to coco the growth has increased greatly and will be flipping to flower in a few more weeks.

26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. I'm very excited to see them adapt and progress! 😁 there are videos above with before and after of my LST process. Thanks for checking out my diary 🍃 ✌️

Willkommen zu meinem Growbericht der legendären Green Gelato Automatic von Royal Queen Seeds. Das "Neue" an diesem Bericht sind die 9 Liter Stofftöpfe, die ich zum ersten Mal verwende. Laut Hersteller (rooties dot eu, ex Chiliwelten, ex Chillwelten) sind das die ersten komplett 2-lagigen Stofftöpfe auf dem Markt. Dadurch sollen die Töpfe im Sommer nicht so schnell austrocknen. Ebenfalls zum ersten Mal verwende ich die Smart Start Plugs von Zamnesia. Ich bin schon sehr gespannt, wie sich die Samen darin entwickeln. Bis auf meinen letzten Grow hatte ich eine eigene Erdmischung verwendet. Darin waren wohl zu viele aggressive Erdbewohner, die mich einige Samen gekostet hatten. Jetzt wird BioBizz All-Mix verwendet, weil sich mein letzter Grow darin sehr schön entwickelt. Tag 21: Die Green Gelato Automatic von Royal Queen Seeds entwickelt sich kräftig. Bei dem Anblick freut es mich, auf die Stofftöpfe umgestiegen zu sein. Tag 24: Wegen des kompakten Wuchses ist es nicht so leicht, LST anzuwenden. Der Stamm ist sehr kräftig, die Ästchen sind dagegen noch klein. Deshalb ist nur der Hauptstamm gebogen. Und Sie hat einen halben Liter Nahrung bekommen. Tag 25: Drei Blätter entfernt. So this is a good experiment, lets see indoors how she will compare. —GERMINATION— My germination process always start by scarifying the seeds, i created a little tool for that. I just a little container with sandpaper walls. Shake gently for about 60 secs+, this allows for the water to penetrate better in the seed shell, once you soak. Then i soak overnight from 12 to 20 hours max. From there i either plant straight or use the paper towel method to see the tap root before. If you are a bit on the impatient side seen the tap root is advisable so you see some movement before planting. Lol! —ROYAL QUEEN SEEDS . QUICK ONE . INFO — Chose this strain because is basic and I have to travel for a month soon, and someone else is going to take care for this time. :) Most of our autoflowering feminized strains are easy to grow. I am worried about one of the plants because the leaves are not growing (White Widow). Gelato #33 and Chocolope are going strong beside the not so stable enviroment!

I just noticed my PH has been around 7, and a couple of the seed mothers are showing CAL/MAG deficiencies.. I use well water, and I don't have to adjust it in the summer, but around late fall the PH raises. I forgot to get good pics of the seed mothers, since I was focused on the STS formulas at the time, but these are the Pollen donors transforming into male flowers. 5 weeks old. The seed mothers are coming along nice with dime sized buds on them. I Topped them all at the 5th node, just before the cola, so the canopy would all be even under the lights. I just sprayed these reversed buds 1 time only on day 17, after the first STS treatments, with 50ppm of Gibberellic Acid (GA3) to stretch them out away from each other. Gibberellic Acid causes plants to stretch enormously, and PPM's of 50 to 100 can cause females to reverse to males.

Day 92: Going to try a week without nutrients. The slurry test was good. I am either over or underwatering. Cannot seem to get it correct this time. However, after last night's watering, she is a lot less droopy. Day 93: no pictures. Added one gallon pH6.5 water with 2 tablespoons Herculean Harvest. Day 94: nothing to report other than she is drinking rapidly and looking healthier. Day 95: added one gallon pH6.5 water with 2 tablespoons Herculean Harvest. Almost no runoff. Day 96: added one gallon of pH6.5 water with nutrients Day 97: nothing to report. Trimmed some leaves that never survived the yellowing. Day 98: nothing to report. Decided to let her dry another day.

Stretch is in full swing. She's really starting to drink a lot at this point. Midweek: really focusing on defoliation this week to open up the canopy and get as much light to bud sights as possible. Increased light output to 100% and lamp to plant distance to about 70cm giving me a bigger light footprint. End of Week: canopy is filling nice and evenly. May have to leave some lower branches on after harvest but we'll see. Next couple of weeks should be exciting.

Plants really very resistant and above all resinous.. I'm sorry not to have even posted the vegetative phase, it will be for next time.. With them I used a substrate filled for about half with light-mix cocomix perlite humus guano kalong ( bloom) mycorrhite ..the upper part only Light-mix with perlite coconut.. In the vegetative phase I gave them only the root juice the few nutrients already present in the light-mix.. The light that I used is a 205w Black-dog phytomax 2-200.. The total of the light must be subdivided as well as their two also another Peyote C. n ° 2 LSD autoflowering (for the whole first month of flowering) n ° 3Cookies Kush (in the last two weeks).. So the final weight in flowers has probably been affected enough ...but the quality is the quantity of the resin and it was really exceptional .. Vaporizer test (mighty / ghosmv1) 180/185/190 °..taste on the classic line of kush, but with sweet notes of vanilla, coffee in mix with an earthy and pungent base, but not persistent.. Very good ... Relaxing effect but not by "locking sofa".. Mind quite clear and focused..like good kush .. Of Critical has taken a lot in the structure of the plant, but also a little bit in the flavor with some fresh" notes "referable to some fruit like mango / lemon, just a pinch.. I think it is suitable for making extractions.. With secondary peaks and resin-laden leaves I will most likely make a coconut oil, to eat alone or in a mix where I happen to be.. 3/22: I’m really just loving her structure she’s perfect. Can’t wait till I get my Optic 4 XL’s this upcoming week and see what that does to her, I’m starting to see the 1st hairs since flipping....it sucks ordering something and then have to wait a month and a 1/2 For something because it’s extremely back ordered. 3/25: As I keep saying I’m really digging her structure I’m not gonna be really doing much with her until harvest she’s a beast she’s the biggest medicine plant I’ve grown thus far. I finally got the notification of my Optic 4XLs being shipped so now I can get the real growing on and get rid of this cheap Chinese blurple.
