I pinched the tops off both plants..

Hi guys, just a quick info for whoever read this diary: I started this run with two plants but during Week 9 (57 days: 49 vegetative + 8 flowering) I had to remove the one on the right due slow growth (issue started after I topped her). Enjoy the reading. 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 Third run begins. 🍪🍦Cookies Gelato by RQS, my first time with photoperiods. I created this diary at the end of January but due some problem with the new drip system (too ph oscillations), I decided to go back to my first love: the DWC. This time, however, I decided to build my own DWC, taking into account the negative aspects that I find in the expensive DWC of various brands. This tank has about 50 liters capacity and on the bottom I have inserted a metal tap that will help me with the solution changes. The lid is made up of two parts, the upper one on which I made a hole in which I inserted a 2 liter planter full of expanded clay and the two root riot; the front part of the lid is magnificent because it opens and allows me to do a quick check of PH and EC. This time I'm going to count the days from the germination date. I'm going to VEG for about 40 days, then switch to 12/12 for about 70 days. I plan on topping the plants during week 4, then defoliation + SCROG during week 5, switch 12/12 during week 6. Then lollipopping at the end of the stretch. In this run I will use my new MARS HYDRO TS1000 2022 (already have one with 2021 MOSO driver), bought a few days ago to test the latest model with the proprietary Mars Hydro driver. I'm sure there will be further improvement in my performance 💪. No sponsor for me yet, what I have is what I bought but I hope someone can help me to bring my crops to the next level. I'm planning to buy a new 90x90 tent and a nice 300/480 watt lamp would be very nice. Crossed fingers! 🤞 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱GERMINATION STAGE🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 - 20/2/23: seeds in a glass of demineralized water, 2 drops of rootbastic and 3 drops of hydrogen peroxide for 24 hours, then in root riot; - 21/2/23: seeds under TS1000: 100 cm distance / 33% dimmer = 50 watt; - 22/2/23: first Cookies Gelato sprouted; - 23/2/23: second Cookies Gelato sprouted. - Got some gift from RQS, really appreciated. I'll consider tomorrow as 1° day of veg for all 2 seedlings. I'll switch 'em to 12/12 after 40/45 days of veg.

So, day 14 will start today at 5pm......the bigbud develops quick, the cherries seem to be a bit slower. The "Cripple" shown on one photo develops the slowest. Seems to me, that the cherries had a bit of a problem with light intensity, which surprised me. So I changed the lamp distance and since then they seem to like it better. Never used led light and am surprised about their power. Never had the problem with too much light intensity. So I will most definitely buy another and smaller lamp for the first week or 2. Operating at 25% was still too much for the cherries. Alternatively I could change light distance in this time. Plants are fed 2ml of root juice and biogrow per liter. From week 3 on I will increase it to 3ml. UPDATE DAY 19 Plants receive 3,5ml of biogrow per liter. They drink like alcoholics so now they get about 1litre of pure water and about 400ml of nutrition. I started LST as you can see. Temperature now sucks a bit, but it's hot outside but will change tomorrow fortunately this is no permanent problem. If I am lucky and nothing unplanned happens, like insects..... I will enjoy these probably. Plants also began to show gender and look female so far. In about a weak I will change nutrition for blooming UPDATE DAY 20 As the pervert that I am I watched this video over and over.........😂 well, the one I posted......What I thought I have seen was slight signs of over nutrition. Wouldnt wonder, because first 2 weeks (more or less) they did get just root juuice and I jumped from 2 to 3..5ml of grow....😁Ladies seemed thirsty but right now I guess, the color I thought was a sign of undernutrition is just the "normal" pheno from the cherries. Sry for my english. Day21 So I was able to apply a bit more lst since plants start to stretch a bit. The biggest plant in the back got bend down in order to avoid burning the top or having to adjust the lamp. I get more and more excited to see them develop! I also started taking of lower leaves that are not needed. Plants are super bushy and will have about one more week, before they enter blooming. The stems are pretty strong and sidebranches get bigger and stronger too. So far, everything alright. Plant height is about 25-45cm, estimated, but my eye is quite OK. And 1 or 2 cm more or less don't change the general fact that they are impressing me so far I actually just wanted to share a creative moment I had this morning..... I guess you all know Dean Martins "let it snow"..... Week 2 has gone just as well as I'd like it too! I had an accident during the week where I had dropped a sticky bug trap on one of my girls, this led to me accidentally ripping off a fan leaf and a half, but she seems to have come out of it just fine! (Thankfully). I have been feeding 1/3 strength nutes the past few feeds, stepping it up from 1/4. I will be watering until I see runoff from now on to prevent nutrients from building up in the coco. Update(day 15, 4/12/20) Today I purchased a new oscillating fan, co2 bags and a new hygrometer that hooks up to my phone and shows me stats. The girls have been putting in a lot of work over the past 24 hours. I also had a Purple Punch photo seed sprout today which I may be turning into a mother plant. I will be starting a diary for this girl too. Update (Day 16 5/12/20) Second purple punch photo popped today, going to keep 1 inside and give the other to my mom to take care of. The girls got their first 1/4 dose of calmag today fed at 6ph due to all the nutrients settling there.( I do have ph +/- but I'm going to try run this whole grow at 5.8-6.2. Update (Day 17 6/12/20) Plants seem happy today. Fan leaves producing a the pre-existing nodes are starting to shoot out quite rapidly. Unfortunately, my streets power went out today for ~90 minutes, I opened the tent, windows and doors to get any light in I could, thankfully the power came back on shortly after. I fed the girls today with very little run-off(I'm trying to perfect the amount of water they need). Update (Day 18 7/12/20) The girls have jumped up over night! I wont be feeding today as I'd like the coco to dry out quite a bit more. Update (Day 19 8/12/20 Gave the girls a small feed today with very little run-off Everything seems to be going well so far, I'm very thankful! Update (day 20 9/12/20) Everything is going pretty well today. I will not be feeding as the increased humidity has kept the coco more moist than usual. Will be feeding full strength nutes tomorrow! Starting flowering this week way exciting

Have been away from my babies for a few days. Couldn’t wait to be back. Purple punch and gorilla punch completed 1 week flush. The smell of them are really strong. Mimosa cake is a bit behind but still promising. It is drinking 5l water each watering.

START OF WEEK 8 of the critical start of week 7 for the girl scout coockies. the critical is the plant u see first the coockies are in top left corner and bottom right. the midle and top right are my 2 new criticals who are still in VEG but i put them in the flowertent to speed it up a litle (the light is stronger and i got the space) when the flower light goes out i move those back to my veg room (bathroom uhum) 😅 nothing too special this week ill probably harvest the critical next weekend and let the coockies go another 3-4 weeks. the buds are fattening and i see the tips of those leaves have slight signs of nute burn so just water from here. see u next week (edit: lol the critical has major calmag issues do not watch those leaves shes almost done and surviving my heatwave torture tent)

Partimos esta nueva semana transplantando nuestras green gelato de Rqs a su maceta definitiva de 7lts. También subimos la dosis de nutrientes a 3ml de green grow y 2ml de gold sunshine de Quemanta Nutrientes. Aprovechando el estres del transplante quitamos los primeros internodos de abajo para generar la concentración de energía en los nuevos brotes.

Week 4 of flowering 10/9/24 Defoliated plants. Watering 4 times a day (with 10%-20% runoff) hand watering to full saturation of the media with 20% runoff at the end of the week. Checking runoff EC every 3 days. Lights now at max height and 90% power. Cheap AliExpress exhaust fan timer broke. Humidity rose up to 99% inside the grow tent, but fans kept circulating the air. After noticing, immediately turned on the dehumidifier to 40% RH with extra fan pointing on the canopy to max. hopefully no herm problems and mold issues. Adding 2.5ml/gal of H2O2 (35%) to the reservoir to keep bacteria away.

Harvest day 67 since time switch to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) Finally it's time 💚 The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room. You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 18-20 degrees and 55-62% humidity. After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures. Hello everyone Welcome 🙂 In the end I harvested at day seventy of flowering ✂️⚘ This strains was pretty easy to grow and doesn't stretch to much.. Internodes are very close , but onestly this I have to say happends mostly of the time thanks to infrared in led light.. In any case , she's a very good choise for indoor : 1: She produce a good amount od dense flowers and the central cola wasn't to much bigger respect the lower branches.. In fact, the central flower is practically the same size as the lower primary flowers 💪 The aroma is delicate , a little sweet and earthy with somnthing else.. Nice one cannabis flowers about smell and taste , but nothing to special , for my experience.. But onestly , one thing I really need to say it's, trichomes are pure glue 🔥 During I roll the joint for the taste test , I was have hard time due the stickiness.. Very difficult to close 😅 Not to much to see her finish burn 😎 Nice oil all around the ash , on the rolling paper.. Almost all white.. Smooth and clean.. Much better on the Mighty or on the Ghost mv1 And more potent 🚀👌 I usually vapes at the temperature around 177° to 195° , with Ghost 200° The effect is very calm , mellow state but you can do things or work out , it not knock you out 😁 At least on me About the Living Soil High-Brix recipe Loke I say week by week , for this lasy I have use a 20l geotextile pot with around 1/3 of the Living Soil I have made ( in this case in november 2019 ) Isn't a Super Soil subcool recipe or similar.. Trought this metodology we're not feeding the plants , but the soil.. Basycally the important things are principaly four Soil energy Cation exchange Microbial activity Mineral balance Soil energy is kept high with humus Cation exchange with rock powders Microbial activity is achieved with innoculants and some teas or other Mineral balance is achieved by adding the micronutes and having everything in the right ratio's For doing this I have use a base mostly of light-mix soil with already perlite inside ( classic cannabis soil ) coco nut humus zeolite then I have add Neem soil , Kelp , Krill , Azomite , Basalt , Gypsum , Calcium Carbonate , Phosforite , Alfalfa and Leonardite Then I was have "cooking" it for a month an half.. And this was the engine that allowed the plant to stay in constant health, keeping the Brix level high 🌋 During the flowering time I have add mostly only water , one times a week with molasses for feeding the microbs.. I have also make a humus/nutrient tea for she and her sisters , just one time.. I'm feel good doing in this way , like it and I understand so many more things about the lives into the ground in general.. But just for be precis For having the high brix in plants we can not just have a good soil but everything around her , the envroiment , especyally in indoor.. And obviously a fundamental it's First , great strain 💪🌳🔥 Second , love Anyway.. At the end she was produces around 29g of flowers dryed , manicured and cured for about one month and a weeks.. Good strain.. Having a pretty quiet week. Still have some yellowing of the lower leaves but the nutrients have relatively low levels of nitrogen plus the plant is in mid/late flower so it's to be somewhat expected. Otherwise, she's getting thicker, stickier and smellier every day.

I believe my plants are finally getting acclimated to the medium and recovering from transplant shock. New growth is looking much healthier. Just as a preventative measure, I picked up some Botanicare Hydroguard to use in an attempt to supplement the roots and bring the pH of the soil down to where I want it. Personally, the pH remains just a tad too high for my liking this week. I would like it more in the range of 5.7-6.5 but I'll give it a week or so to see the reaction to the Hydroguard. I've continued with more LST on all but the Glookies #2. On this plant I simply did a topping. It was a risk, considering the plants isn't vibrantly healthy, but I need to maintain it's height. I also did a second topping to the American Pie #1. As can be observed from the photos, not all of the plants were shaped the same way. I got creative with the fabric pots and I decided to LST a few plants a little bit differently just to see which technique/style I liked the most. So far, I am digging the way the Jelly Bananen #1/#2 and American Pie #2 are shaping up. They are going to have a beautiful, wide canopy when they head into flower. I'm considering transplanting into 5 gallon fabric pots within the next week or two so I can flip them to flower two weeks later. My intuition is telling me this has been a pretty lengthy vegetative stage, thus far. I'm expecting all of my plants to double in size during the flowering stage, which should be anywhere between 65-70 days long. I made sure to select strains with similar flowering times (60-70 days). 2nd week flushing, watching trichomes with a 60X loupe waiting for a few amber. One plant was chopped last night and hung...patiently waiting for the others😑 Well I decided to take Roberts suggestion and try 2 days of total darkness (thanks) before chopping down the rest. Removed the fan leaves and chopped the ladies down 😇hung them to dry in a dark room with indirect air movement. RH 55% at 20C for 3 days then RH 50% at 18C for a couple of weeks, then mason jars and then lastly 62%Boveda. Will update with dry weight and smoke report😎 Thanks for your comments and suggestions
