Since sprouting above ground I've been top watering RO water until the roots hit the water. I also covered the net pots with reflective film to avoid any light leaking into the rdwc system to avoid any issues later on in the grow. Day 5 - Roots are starting to touch the water so I'm expecting the growth rate to pick up soon 😏 Trol master unit is set up and connected to my light at 40% and on a 18/6 lighting schedule. This is the second week of germination, from here I think she's about to start her veg. Hopefully by next week we will be able to top a few if not all the ladies in the garden. Yesterday was their first full watering, we only gave them 1 gallon of ph'd water.

I grew all of my plants the same and with 3 strains and only being allowed to have 5 plants total I have to pick the strongest growers and hope they stay strong and this time for me the gamble payed off nicely with a good harvest. I would recommend this strain as it grows fast and did not seem to be a picky eater and took in a lot of heavy feedings... This week #2 has fattened up a fair bit. Earlier in the week I tried a technique called backbuilding which I never heard of before which involves snipping of the very top of bud growth late in flower to encourage fat buds rather than stretchy ones. Left a couple as they were to compare. I am giving this one plain water from now till the end. #1 is progressing. The bottom of the plant has totally disappeared haha, hopefully the GHE nutes will save the top. Due to lacking nitrogen during its extended veg period which I wasn't planning for; thought it would start flowering anytime! Looks a lot more frosty than #2 did at this point. Should be a good harvest none the less considering how it has had the top cut off and the deficiencies.

Today 23/07/22 We are two days into week 5, never talked about nutrient or water’ problems I had some leaves with few yellow marks but very small one beside that I always saw my plants green and happy, here you can see the scrog I set up yesterday not sure if this will work better but I think will help the branches grow further from the others increasing the light they riceve! I made it myself I will order one for the next grown when I will get my grow box! The watermelon is already flowering but the northern light no so today I started feeding the plants with different preparations.. I kept on giving the grow booster with a bit of bloom booster and viceversa for the watermelon! If you have any tips anything you think I’m doing wrong or you see it’s not ok let me know I don’t grow in a box I grow between the curtains and my window so the environment wasn’t always the perfect one

Week 6 and these girls got a scrog net added. As the plants are getting extremely heavy. Started to unfold an open up eagle spread style. So had to lend a helping hand. They got a scrog net added an the untrained plant got tied up from tents upper support bars an lower branches got some support also from the net. So far everything is going smoothly. The e680s light is putting in that work work

Week 1 of early Veg I began the feeding schedule this week using the Canna range again for this grow as it worked well on my last run. Trying to maintain 55-60 Rh this week Growing an Auto strain for the first time under the new LED is throwing up some questions but I think all is going ok. These 2 seemed to take quite a long time to settle but are picking up growth now and look to be healthy. I plan to lower the light gradually over the next week to 24inch as they develop further. 🤓 ✌️

no doubt i overdid it with too much veg nutes too late and let it dry out.. back right corner of tent is a pain in the ass.. it didnt fade like the other bb and had the start of thrips munching away. if anything prob not bruces full potential... oh and given i deshelled it, it seems to have had an effect, took long to come out, wasnt so vigorous, wanted to flower real quick.. i didnt use as much soil in this pot it seems. owing to it being short i had to keep raising the canopy height, then i stuck a screen on top. one central mass of buds looked like it had grown in the dark. definitely needs to be pruned properly to allow light everywhere if you wanna keep small.

She's finally started flowering

Welcome to my chaos. The 2x2 is becoming an early veg and seedling tent I think for now she has the giant Manhattan girl from Twenty20. She was taking too much room up for herself in the 2x3.

11/3 - Today is technically the first day of Week 5 and also the first day I could see a visible drop in her water level since her last check-in (~12 hours apart). As a result, her ppms shot up to around 800. I diluted the solution with straight tap (7.5pH, 170ppm) since her pH was registering around 5.3. This brought her up to 5.6pH and 670ppm (1.0ec + tap, 500ppm of nutrients). I would have liked to adjust her pH more, but the water level ended up at the bottom of the basket. I'll adjust further as necessary. The other day while attempting to LST her top branches, they ended up snapping off, so I just topped her down one node and broadened her other LST to make her as squat as possible. Once I am able to find a suitable individual ScrOG screen, I will put it on her. 11/4 - I wasn't even planning on doing an update today, but I want to note a few changes. The first of which is a visible difference between her foliage density in a span of 36 hours. Her root bundle is over a foot long and getting more wound up every day. I removed her LST ties in order to take advantage of the ScrOG screen apparatus (see notes below). After lights came back on, she measured 645ppm and had another notable drop in water level. Currently, I am preparing another nutrient solution that closely matches what she is feeding on now. I will be upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket. I will be aiming for 1ec of nutrients/additives (500ppm + Tap on my meter, Hanna Primo .5 conversion). Tap measured 180ppm, so target ppm would be 680. Later that same day... So I finished upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket before I actually got done writing the update. Added one photo showing new 5 gallon setup. Solo ScrOG test mk1 - In an attempt to do a ScrOG, but maintain control over each bucket, while still having relatively easy access to each reservoir, I decided to throw together this little contraption. I removed the lowest complete segment of a tomato cage, leaving a short "tail" beyond the lower ring to act as a peg to insert into corresponding holes in the lid. The lower ring is 10" in diameter and the upper is approximately 12" in diameter. Each ring is 11" apart. I would prefer to have a shorter segment, but I haven't worked out exactly how to do this yet. I would prefer to set the screen height at around 6" above the bucket instead of 11". This will have to suffice for the time being while I let my latent conscious work out a solution or one is provided by the community. Above each cage will sit a coated wire fence with grids measuring ~2"x3", as shown in the above picture. 11/5 - Uploaded short video showing Solo ScrOG Apparatus in place. So the smallest 5gal white og flipped her leaves on me. Like WHAT!!! Some research showed me cal-mag was the solution. And I know why. As I mentioned in. My other diaries - ph is off on my well water. I know this and also plants need water. So to water the hot dry plants before running Around for Work or not. I had no time for adjustments and feeding. As guilty as I feel.... well... is what it is. Got the greenhouse back on track today with a good ph water and cal-mag plus feeding. Will watch for improvement. They are all pretty hardy im impressed by their largeness. The large one has exceeded my height and is also filling out. I have topped twice and once on smaller ones. Started to defoliate some of the under leaves and other leaves that had some pest damage. No major pest issues since I battled the flea Beatles but I didn’t capture grasshopper and a caterpillar 🐛 and a white looking spider with egg sack (be gone evil beings) but these girls are outdoors and that’s where bugs live sooooo... whatcha gunna do. 🤷‍♀️🏻 Moving on. Another 6 weeks and these girls should be heading into the flowering zone. Excite to watch that phase. Hope I have enough room out there. Once temps drop around here a little more I will remove the shade screen And spread them out a bit. But I can’t yet as the greenhouse reaches temps over 100 without it.
