Die Auto Candy Bubatz ist reif für die Ernte. sie hat in der letzten heißen Woche ihre Blüten ausreifen lassen. Mit dem ersten Hochnebel des Jahres steigt auch die Schimmelanfälligkeit und somit werde ich sie heute schneiden. Der Erntebericht und weitere Fotos werden folgen. Ich habe Einiges über Autoflowers dazugelernt, sodass mir keine mehr vollständig verschimmelt ist, was leider letztes Jahr geschehen ist. Die Bubatz riecht jetzt sehr süß, etwas minzig, würzig. Richtig super einfach war es jedoch nicht, sie durch die Schlechtwetterperiode im Sommer zu bekommen. Autoflower sind keine Selbstläufer. Ich freue mich bereits auf den ersten Genuss. Zuallererst wird ihr Duft beim Trocknen durch die Wohnung ziehen, auch bereits ein Event. --- The Auto Candy Bubatz is ready for harvest. It has allowed its flowers to mature during the last hot week. With the first high fog of the year, the susceptibility to mold also increases, so I will cut it today. The harvest report and more photos will follow. Many thanks to Dutch Passion for allowing me to participate in this contest. I learned a lot about autoflowers, so none of them got completely moldy, which unfortunately happened last year. The Bubatz now smells very sweet, a little minty, spicy. However, it wasn't really that easy to get it through the bad weather period in the summer. Autoflowers are not a sure-fire success. I'm already looking forward to enjoying them for the first time. First of all, their scent will waft through the apartment as they dry, which is an event in itself.

this week is a bit frustrating im having some small issue with root rot im off to the store to buy some drip clean from house and garden and ill be doing a water change today i will also topped them after fourth set of leaves day 7 system flush and cleaned. adjusted ppm to 750 i will be using sterile rez from now on as i dont want to battle with pythium. added drip clean and peroxide 30% as suggested by my local hydro store now water looks pristine onto week 5 tomorow.

The plant is thriving as it enters its 11th week of flowering. The buds have developed beautifully, and they’re giving off a sweet, lemony aroma that fills the grow space. It’s a scent that’s both refreshing and promising, making me excited for the final product. At this stage, everything looks great, and I’ve decided to start flushing the plant with clear water only. This should help remove any residual nutrients and ensure a smoother, cleaner smoke. I’m planning to continue flushing for the next one to two weeks before harvesting. I’m really looking forward to seeing how this plant turns out. The buds are dense and sticky, and if the smell is any indication, the end result should be amazing. Can’t wait to see how she finishes!

Hi all . This will be the last week of these girls now . They’ve both been flushing with RO water and I will continue that a couple more days before harvest . They are certainly ready and cannot wait to have the final result dryed and tasted . The smells from these girls is unreal . They have a strong fruity smell and are sticky as hell . It’s going to be messy when harvesting !. Couple more days flushing and I’ll give them the chop and hang to dry . I’ll update with a harvest once that’s done . Day 35: Defoliation on some of my overgrown plants. Day 40: My tallest plant is 43cm tall. Pretty good size, should double or even triple when it comes time to flower. Have had no problems so far, no issues with fungi or bacteria in my plants.

(Days 28-35) (Day 29) Everything seems to have recovered fine from topping so I transplanted into their 1.7 gallon pots. They were pretty rootbound so this should make them nice and happy. Going to start LST after recovery. Got a ton of holes poked around the rim of the bucket which should make tying down easier. I’ve been asking around on some forums and reading some articles and I’ve decided to switch out my MH bulb for the included HPS bulb. Apparently HPS bulbs will stretch the nodes out quite a bit more and provide higher PAR value for the same amount of electricity. My plants are looking pretty small for day 29. Although, that could just be from stuffing 15 plants under one 250-400w light. I’ve been powering the lights up to 400w at night and back down to 250 during the day. 400 just gets it too hot during the day (86-88) without ventilation. That temperature should be fine in veg once my co2 has really built up some mycelium. (Day 32) Just got 14/15 topped. The BCTG runt is just going to be lst’d and not topped or fimmed. I decided to just fim the plants I started later so they’d have a bit more time to recover and catch up to the others. I also LST’d all 9 quite well. Almost had a stem break but she’s doing just fine now. The deformed bbb was accidentally fimmed and as a result it’s got a very trippy looking main stem that has branched off into 6 mains. I definitely have fungus gnats. Fuckers must have got in with that coco I bought from hydro store. This has never happened to me with just promix but the benefits of coco are too much to pass up. I might order an OG BioWar/capsbennies/grubgrenade to help naturally get rid of them. I’m getting some confirmed yellowing on bottoms of the zkittlez and WW’s. They must be heavy feeders because no other plant in the tent is getting yellow like that. I’m going to feed a compost tea, top dress everything at full strength and mulch in some worm castings to help break it down faster. Will also do a foliar spray with some insect frass, microbes and m1pps. (Day 33) Got some more of that marine phytoplankton stuff to help stabilize my RO water. It’s got a good amount of soluble magnesium and trade minerals in it so that should help stop the yellowing on the zkittlez and WW. (Day 34) Things are looking great so far and they’re all recovered from topping/transplant/lst and thriving. Some slight yellowing and a few of the plants are cupping from heat and high humidity. I just put in a dehumidifier to help bring the rh down. The m39/zkittlez bagseed plant is just outpacing everything in the tent by 4-6 days. No wonder organized crime used to grow it. I hear it can completely flower in 45 days with a solid yield and very little trimming or leaf matter. It’s very weak on the high and smell though. Nonetheless it should be nostalgic to try those old terps. There is still a small chance that it’s a super vigorous zkittlez plant too. Plants should be showing sex this coming week. Hoping for 8+ fems but I can make do with just 4. 1-3 is unlikely but that would piss me off beyond belief. I’ve heard of it happening though.

Hi everyone 🤗. On 07/23/20 the time intervals of the lights were changed to 12/12 h :-). Now you have some time left to grow in the network that has been installed. This time I deliberately gave less vegi phase because they grew a lot after the time change in the last run 😅. You will still get Canna Aqua Vega A + B until the correct flower production begins, after which a complete water change will be made (as every 14-18 days). From then on she gets Canna Aqua Flores A + B and Canna Boost 😃. I am very excited to see how the gelato from Zamnesia to Aero develops, because I have always grown this genetic on Soil :-). Otherwise, they look beautiful, and all parameters except the water temperature are in the optimal range. Since the grow cooler for the 0.8 system is unfortunately too big and I don't see any problems with the 23-24 degrees water temperatures, I won't need a water cooler for the time being. Greetings fellow growers 🖖 and welcome to my first grow ever. This adventure actually started several months ago when I decided to stop buying flower from dispensaries and just grow my own bud. How hard can it be!? This is actually my second seed of this strain. The first bean sadly died due to over watering (sorry girl, RIP). I was literally watering the cube to the point where water was dripping from the bottom, then heavily sprayed the humidity dome and tray with the vents completely closed. Everyday. Multiple times. I never let the dome or try dry out. So after about 8 days of not sprouting, there was a funky smell of rot. So that was that. Later I learned that rockwool retains a lot of water and can easily drown seeds. So a wet/dry cycle is best for rockwool germination. So even after hours of researching and digging through forums and tutorial videos, I was still under prepared for this journey. Did not consider how delicate the germination phase is. Oh well. Lesson learned. Reset and try again! I hope everyone is safe and stoned during this corona crisis. Just like everyone else in the world, I want this pandemic to be over with. But in the meantime, let's grow some weed! 🖖 [START OF WEEK 01] Day 01 - Monday - 08/03/20 - Total Days: 001 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Light Schedule: 24Hrs/0 --- Soaked cube in 5.5 PH water for 10 min. Did not shake water out. --- NO NUTES! Only PH'd down to control the PH levels. --- Did not use the default hole (way too deep). --- Flipped cube upside down and made a shallow hole for the seed (less than 0.25" deep). --- Placed seed in and pinched hole close. No additional water added. --- Sprayed the tray and dome with straight water (5.5 PH). --- Vents are cracked opened a for ventilation (about 1/4 opened each). --- Distance between the light and tray was 53" --- AC was set to 80 °F --- Exhaust fan was set to 86 °F --- Room average temp was at 85 °F --- Dome humidity was at 85-99% when sprayed. --- Allowing to completely dry before respraying. - [2200]: Dome and tray were completely dry! Sprayed only tray and dome with more water. Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/04/20 - Total Days: 002 ----------------------------------- - [0845]: Sprayed dome and tray in the morning. Everything was dry. --- Hoping for the best! - [2130]: Everything was dry again, so sprayed dome and tray at night along with a light spray on the cube. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/05/20 - Total Days: 003 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Everything was dry again. Resprayed dome and tray. Slightly sprayed cube. - [2125]: Hooo damn!! She popped! Am little stub is visible! Resprayed dome and tray again. --- Still going 24/0 for lights. - [+0033]: Just checked up on her and I swear she grew a bit taller! Getting excited! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/06/20 - Total Days: 004 ----------------------------------- - [0845]: Wow! Went from a little stub to fully sprouted overnight! Everything was pretty dry again so resprayed dome and tray. - [2200]: Tap root is visible! Over 1" long too! Just resprayed dome and tray again. -- Going to prep for hydroton transplant tomorrow! Day 05 - Friday - 08/07/20 - Total Days: 005 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: She keeps growing! -- Added a bit of CalMag to the spray bottle (8 drops to 650ml of distilled water). Resprayed dome and tray. Water was at a 5.4 PH with 141 PPM. - [1045]: Prepped the bubble bucket with 4.5gal of water. Water is high enough to reach about 0.25" above the bottom of the net pot. --- Added 3 drops of Superthrive --- Added 3.5ml of CaliMagic --- Added 2ml Hydroguard --- Then PH'd down to 5.6 --- Solution Strengh: 120 PPM --- Water chiller is set to 20 °C - [1100]: Transplant time! --- Filled the net basket 1/3 with hydroton. When placed in the bucket, air bubbles are not visible, but are slightly below the surface (slight digging will reveal the water/bubbles below). --- Removed plastic on rockwool cube and placed in basket, then filled around and covered with hydroton. Making sure to block any light from passing through the net pot and into the nutrient solution. --- Covered with a half-bottle dome sprayed with the CalMag water from earlier. --- Hoping for the best! - [1300]: Raised Bucket 5" higher. Now light distance is 48" to top of bucket. - [1820]: Lowered tent exhaust temp to 76 °F --- Lowered AC to 75 °F --- Raised bucket even higher so light distance is 30" to top of bucket. - [2300]: Looking good! --- Sprayed dome and surrounding hydroton with more CalMag water. --- Attached timer to light! So new 18 Hrs On/6 Hrs Off light schedule. --- Lights On: [1600] (4pm) --- Lights Off: [+1000] (10am the next day) --- Decided to go with lights on during the evening/night and off during the later mornings/afternoon (the hottest part of the day) to see if temps can be controlled better. --- Please survive girl! Day 06 - Saturday - 08/08/20 - Total Days: 006 ----------------------------------- - [0800]: Everything was dry. Resprayed hydroton and dome. - [2000]: Here first night cycle seemed to go well! Get'n taller! --- Dry again. Removed the dome. --- PH went up to 6.5 so PH'd down to 5.7 --- Ran the top feed drip ring for a bout a minute to wet the hydroton and rockwool with the nutient solution. ---Too scared to leave the top feed on 24hrs (I don't want over water her and cause dampening-off). Day 07 - Sunday - 08/09/20 - Total Days: 007 ----------------------------------- - [0800]: Water dropped a bit (mostly due to evaporation) so solution strength was at 190. --- Checked PH again. Was still at 6, so PH'd down to 5.4 --- Ran the top feed for a minute to wet the hydroton a bit. - [0915]: Since she's looking perky but still a bit yellow. So decided to up the nutrient concentration even more before lights out. --- Added 2ml more of Sensi Grow A --- Added 2ml more of Sensi Grow B --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 199 PPM --- PH went up to 5.8 - [1700]: Checked nutrients. --- PH: 5.9 --- Solution strength: 202 PPM --- Added 4ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- PH after adding more nutes: 5.9 --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 238 PPM - [2130]: Decided to make a new foliar spray to address the continued yellowing. --- Started with 500ml of distilled water. --- Added 3 drops of CaliMagic --- Added 3 drops of Sensi Grow A --- Added 3 drops of Sensi Grow B --- Added 3 drops of B-52 --- Added 1 drop of Superthrive --- Solution strength: 164 PPM --- PH was at 5.9 and did not adjust. --- Gave her one spray. --- Also sprayed the surrounding hydroton. I was in the process of getting my plants ready for flip, and realized I never posted my weekly update yesterday. Last week: I did notice some light intensity issues starting to show so I raised the lights up and adjusted back to 50%. I did get overzealous with my training and broke a main stem last Wednesday. Taped her back no real issues or anything (yet) with the break the branch seems to be fine sofar. This week: Ill do a small top dress this week. (some compost, ewc and bloom fertilizer.) I plan on Flipping Mid / late week, unless the branch shows any stress signs then I'll wait a week. Any advice, tips or tricks are always welcome.
