20/02: The plants are overall reacting well to the larger dose of nutrients especially the ignitor - there are lots of bud sites throughout. I was under watering some plants which has resulting in wilting stems and leaves - will move onto 1 litre of water every other day from next week. 1 OG kush and 1 White Widow is lagging behind but we'll get there. Good strong stalks mostly for all the plants. Gave the a hefty defoliation this week also trimming the fan leaves and letting light penetrate the lower branches and bud sites.

Hey growmies, Growth has been okay, however the growth is all variegated and funky looking. My environment has been spot on and the only nutrients this girl is getting is calmag, so I am left to assume this weird growth is a result of being snapped in half. Every node looks better than the last, i feel like she'll grow out of it. I just hope she doesn't enter flower right away as a result of the stress. I'm experimenting with a camera in there, see if it can provide me with consistent timelapse footage, if this week's timelapse is a bit weird, that's the reason. If you are wondering what the Hypochlorous acid in the nutrient list is, I'm using Calcium hypochlorite to combat pythium growth in my growbucket, as well as providing free chlorine for the plant to uptake. It's a very cheap and effective way to run a "Sterile" DWC run, although you have to be very careful when handling and dosing, if you want to know how I calculate my dose, leave a comment or send a message, I'm happy to help out. Week 5 everything was on par with week 4 however, girl #1 seemed to start slowly pulling away from girl number #2. They were almost the same height week 4 but towards the end of week 5 girl #1 had a noticeable height difference with girl #2. Also it seems I have 2 different Phenos. Girl #1 looks at the end of week 5 as if she is starting to move towards flowering. While girl #2 is just getting bushy and not very much height. I did do some defoliation of the big fan leaves on each girl and any leafs blocking the light of potential budsites. also I removed the more undeveloped lowers. Hopefully I didn’t stress them out too much removing as much as I did. I really didn’t feed them to to much This week. They are recovering from very mild nute burn from week 4. Also I think they grew closer to where i had the light so I raised the lights up a few more inches. I barley turned the lights power up that’s why it’s been a littler warmer than usual.
