I struggled with this plant the whole grow cycle. She still came out alright in my opinion. She did foxtail due to heat. For a first photoperiod grow in DWC I did good in my opinion. Learned a lot more, and been applying those techniques now. She grew under a Spider Farmer SE5000 light in a New Level Hydro bucket. I used hygrozyme during grow. Our journey begins as we prepare these seedlings for their future home in the controlled environment of Tent X. Germination Process: On January 24th, the Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrid Automatic seeds were carefully placed in the EZ-Plug germination setup. After a brief 1 1/2 days in these nurturing plugs, the seeds sprouted, marking the commencement of their growth journey. The uniformity in their germination is impressive, showcasing synchronized and promising starts for each seedling. To my haters: I love oxygen, so put a bag over your heads. Temps are dippin. They drink half gal a day! Hooo wee mofos so this week i got too high and over corrected ph up and down a medium bap cytokinin spray basically did what i want stunt height but also kinda burned it 😅 The trichomes did go bonkers so i dunno. Seems kush mints bottom right doesnt wanna move fast.

Always cool to see what old school strains are all about. If there’s something experience has taught me is that classics are classics for a reason, and that’s the theme of this cycle. The germination was exceptionally fast, followed by the development of a thick stalk and huge broad leafs, this Gorilla surely started strong. Humidity and temperature kept fairly high throughout the week (70%/ 24°C), with regular misting, which they love! So far so good, feels like a happy and healthy seedling. Let’s see what she’s got 💪🌱

I harvested 211,9gr wet on p2, I mostly wet trimmed her, I have around 30gr on popcorn nugs in the freezer for bubble hash, when I run out of flowers. I still have a bowl of leaves and stems, but it will be dismissed.

it's always a pleasure to do business with Barney's Farm!!! They have never let me down even once!! Even in the worst situations and conditions they have always been able to bring out the best for me!! I really enjoyed forcing these plants to see their reactions, but I wouldn't do it again as a technique because it only serves to keep the canopy low but not to increase the yields...or...at least in my case I didn't find it of fundamental importance....maybe a simple cut of the apical top and that was it! but that's fine!😋

Here we are again ready to start again, always under the sign of Zamnesia, we make our fantastic plants and we show you what we are capable of. We have 5 autoflowering strains and 5 photoperiodic ones and now we present them to you. The second autoflowering that we present to you is the Black Orchid Autoflowering. This was advised and recommended to us directly by the Zamnesia elves and we are sure that they are keen to send us refinements, we have seen some super beautiful photos of this strain. Guys, black is black as a style of beauty for me it is unbeatable. To explain my germination method which is a combination of experiences acquired in the field and readings of the right advisors, I have chosen to divide it into phases so that those who want can follow them and understand better step by step. - Preparatory Phase ---- Check the average temperature in the room, humidity status to understand if it is the case to start or wait, I decided for the end of August because the temperatures start to drop towards the 22-25 degrees recommended for germination. Then another thing more or less credible depending on the sensitivity is the control of the lunar phases. I believe in it a lot, it is a method that ancient farmers used to understand when it was best to plant depending on the attraction of the moon. To make my life easier I use a simple app that advises you on the right time to plant, harvest and put in the jar (depending on the lunar phases). - Phase 1 --- Soaking in water. There are many authoritative friends who advise against this method due to the risk of drowning, but I have always been fine and I follow the rule if it opens in water the seed is almost certainly healthy and will come out of the ground 90% normally. - Phase 2 --- Opening the seed in water. As soon as the seed opens and the root comes out a little, you have to be very very careful not to leave the seed in the water open for too long. This is why there is a risk of drowning. So as soon as the root comes out, it must be planted. Do not wait for it to stretch out a lot, you can wait a little longer in the absorbent paper, but not in water. - Phase 3 --- In the meantime, while I soaked the seeds, I prepared my pots: I use small biodegradable pots (choose the ones with holes underneath for drainage). A few hours before working with the opened seeds, I moistened the soil with water adjusted to the right pH (5.8 - 6.2) and Plagron Power Roots. The small root is now open and we can make a little hole with a toothpick, widen it and insert the seed. Not too deep with the root facing downwards. From Serious Seeds we learned the dome technique: if you put a small dome of soil on the seed the water will settle on the sides avoiding overwatering problems. - Phase 4 --- The plant emerges from the soil. So far I have not put the light, now I turn it on at minimum after half a day of soil to give direction to the seedlings. The first week the light will be gradually brought from 40% to 60% to go to 70% - 75% in the remaining weeks of veg. During the first week maximum, I keep the cycle of 24 hours to avoid stretching. -- day 29 -- Started week 5 off with watering the plants. The nutrients from the soil are probably used by now so I'm adding a first small dose of Alga Grow. -- day 30 -- Its been 10 days since I changed the lights to 12/12. Switched the lights to full capacity with the bloom mode on. -- day 31 -- I'm already seeing the first signs of flowering today. Noticed first signs of light burn so raised the lights to 55 cm above canopy. -- day 32 -- Watered the plants with 2 ml/l alga grow + 2 ml/l bloom. -- day 34 -- I think I've been too cautious with nutrients. Plants are relatively light green colored. Not sure if I mentioned this before but I chose to schedule my lights so that they turn on at 22:00 and off at 10:00 in the morning. I did this because the room warms up with lights on and keeps the temperature up at night without any heating on to save energy. Only disadvantage; I can only look at my plants in the morning and late evening ;)

Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 Finally got that transpant done. Added a bit of root juice to help out the transplant. Won't be adding nutes until next week, directly bloom nutes.. Took waaaay to long to transplant. They didn't get any growth becuase of the bad weather these past weeks. Very bummed out about that. Two of the are already in prefower.. the tiniest i hope grows a bit more.. can't really ask for much more given the bad weather and that they're autos.. I'll for sure be doing a re run with this strain with better stable conditions. Take care out there! One love!

🗓️ WEEK 1 / DAYS 1-7 (flo) 🔙 The first four weeks of vegetation went remarkably smoothly. I gradually increased the EC from 0.6 to 1.2, and the plant responded with healthy, compact growth. By the end of week 4, the plant was bushy, vibrant green, and ready for the flip after a 24-hour flush. 💧 At the beginning of this week I introduced a new nutrient solution with EC 1.6 - PH 6 and also started adding a flowering stimulator to the mix, Power Buds by Plagron. She's definitely thirsty, drinking about 2 LT/day, and importantly, isn't showing any signs of stress from the change. 🌱 With the switch to the 12/12 light cycle, the plant has started the stretching, increasing in height from 21 cm to 29 cm. It's also become incredibly bushy! Given her still relatively contained height, I've decided I won't be using a SCROG net.
