Aug 24: starting the sixth week of flowering. I’ve added another Scrog layer mostly to help keep fan leaves out of the way and expose the bud sites. This “loose Scrog” or whatever technique works quite well. She’s fairly leafy but the buds are coming. 👍 defoliated to remove fan leaves that were growing toward centre. Don’t want to overdo it but there needed to be some removed. Aug 25: nice sunny day and had the UV lights going. Took flash pics just before using the 730 nm far red light. Don’t use a flash like this if you don’t have the red light as you might cause it to hermie. But you can get great flash pics. 👍 Aug 26: looking good. Watered with potassium silicate this evening. It’s a strong base and it takes a fair bit of vinegar to get the pH back down to about 6.4. That’s fine though because the microbiota (‘bugs’) will appreciate a serving of easily digested acetate. That’s part of why it’s better to use vinegar than HCl. Chloride would not help but the organic acetic acid does help.

Harvested at the first sign of amber, could have gone longer. I will be running a full tent of these in a few weeks so look out for that grow. Considering these ladies were all five in a 40l pot, I am pretty happy with how they turned out. My intention was to LST them away from each other to give them room, but unfortunately a combination of moving house and lack of space meant that plant didn't happen, so they were certainly restricting each other light. I am really very excited to give them a proper focused grow in the upcoming series. I will add more to this when I fill in the smoke report.

The three plants are doing well. Fat Banana with topping has recovered strongly and continues to grow. Fat Banana without topping is unstoppable. A little defoliation applied. Alright gents, it’s the 2 week homestretch!!! Gonna start flushing with RO water and that’s it. Want to get rid of all the nutes I’ve been feeding for that nice smooth smoke. pH of 6.2-6.4......temperature usually 72-76 F on the water. I only have be defoliating the bright yellow/white leaves. Today was my last feeding with nutes and I’m excited to see development without nutes. Really happy so far with my first grow. Spent so much time on YouTube, reading articles, and scrolling through so many friggin forums.

FastBuds Tropicana Cookies Auto on this run, slightly different tent, same size but 1ft taller than the last one just to give me abit more room,.. got an extra fan going and a couple of cool feeding bottles that drip into the trays save me opening the tent every feed, these are 7 days from breaking soil, one obviously has taken of more than the other but both seem fine, roll on next week 👌

During week 9 the twelve AK-47 plants continue to thrive. All of them have a healthy green color and grow more and more flowers from top to bottom. The plants start to form HUGE colas and I am astounded by the speed of the new flower development. The trichome production is in full swing and the pants get stickier every day. I still feed them following the mills nutrient schedule and they seem to have all they could wish for. The SANlight Q5W-Gen.2 LED lamps are dimmed to 100% (=3 green lights on dimer ON) without the SUNRISE-FADE (=orange light on dimmer OFF) and are at a distance of 50 cm from the top of the plants. This ensures that the whole canopy gets the maximum of light. The air stone clogging up a week and some ago stopped this plant in its tracks when rot set in. Another lesson learned to change air stone mid way in grow. Especially for photoperiods. She still has some bud on her. I switched her to water and she is ripening. She grew well under the Spider Farmer SE5000 light, in a New Level Hydro bucket. My Gorilla Cookies seedling is off to an amazing start! The stem is thick and sturdy, promising strong growth, and the leaves are already nice and wide, soaking up all the light. I'm excited to see how this one develops. The genetics on this strain are top-notch, so I've got high hopes for some seriously frosty buds down the line. Stay tuned for updates as this little lady grows! The weather has been absolutely gorgeous this past week! We've been hitting that sweet spot of 70 degrees during the day, perfect for getting outside and soaking up some sun. Then, it cools down to a comfy 50 degrees at night, which is ideal for sleeping with the windows open. I've been loving all the fresh air! I finally got around to building that little wooden planter for my windowsill. It was a fun project, and now my regular plants have a nice new home. It really brightens up the room, and I'm thinking of adding some herbs to it soon. Maybe I'll even try growing some basil!

Had one with a bit of iron deficiency, slowed down the growth quite a bit but had no problems during flower

Finally done, one of the girls could have probably gone for another week or so, but she was not getting much fatter in the last few days. I think this might turn out to be very nice buds, but probably lower on the overall yield. Have to give them 1-2 weeks to dry and hopefully end of July I can smoke them

2 of 3 plants are females, Others are still unknown, females r hst ed and topped. I will repaet training with fimming after stress. 1 of them is a male ruderalis, I took him from the pot he lost around %95 of his roots but still alive and moved in quarantin to harvest his pollens to cross new combinations for the future, I broke a flowered stem :( and I dont want to say good bye to that small piece so I will try to make a clone with it, the chance will be less because of her flowers also I have not root hormon so the only chance is aloa vera gel and honey to protect her from infection . 2 fresh cuts from topped girls and 1 broken stem are in a box now (which they borned in it, the destiny :)) . Looking a chance to survive, Im supporting them with foilar spraying 2 or 3 times a day which includes B52 and Revive. Good luck girls God bless u,

Day 56 from seed( 16 in flower): Merry Christmas Groomies , Sponsors and Grow Diaries Crew. Another amazing week of growing and developing has given me some of the most beautiful bud colours I have seen in a long time. Their singular structure on us is amazing and they look very psychedelic!!!. The smell coming off them at a touch is a very potent varnish and sweetness. They leave my hands tacky too now. Seeing their quick bud growth against my usual photoperiods is a shock too. I forgot how young they were and had my worries over their close finish time and current size. This was very short lived as from talking to other auto guys , it seems that Autos usually flower for as long as they are in veg period for before their actual flowering buds start , i.e 4 weeks veg-4 weeks flowering. These girls showed real flowers at day 38 from seed which would mean Day 76 for the finish potentially.That means another 20 days to get fatter and more frosty for a Jan 20, 8-9th finish. I expect from seed is a good start point but can add a week if seeds take their time to wake up ect.. I know it isnt an exact science so let's see. #1 This girl is stunning up close. she is covered with buds and her Los has been feeding her plenty with just water added. The pot is mulching all her old leaves too now so she will be helping feed the next plant in this pot ( fast buds fast flowering tester!!). She is very bushy but I love her look and am resisting the urge to defoliate her at the moment. I will do some at flowering day 21. #2 Is doing well next to her huge sister and certainly looks as many sites too. The coco and Mc are brilliant. her vibrant green will be pulling all that light in and working wonders towards her bud building too. # Is an oddity and looks like a cuckoo baby in a nest of blackbirds!!! She had none of the colours or psychedelic look at all but some of the smell . She is a good size and was a pale girl initially so I didnt train her much.
