Day 70- On Flush, buds getting HUGE. And some hints of purpling from the top. So much frost on this girl it’s so damn sticky. There was a gnat stuck to the wall of the tent bc she is so sticky... 🔥😎 The Christmas Video was so much fun to shoot. Got the wifey into too, was really a great family affair. Se instaló malla scrog, first time. Se riega foliar con delta 9. Entrando a floracion. Se accidentó una glueberry que mantenia un alambre en su tallo, el sustrato se seco demasiado y el tallo cedió. Quedaron buenos brazos restante por lo tanto será interesante ver el desarrolla de esa planta versus sus hermanas. Primera semana de LSD-25

Last week, first of flowering, was outstanding, I could water the girls regulary and the work paid off they stretched a lot and are looking super healthy. The girl right below the upper fan is suffering a bit with the shadows and is notoriously shorter than her sisters, I will need to rethink the air circulation for the next grow. Another concern of mine is their height, hoping they dont stretch anymore as the lights are already at maximum possible height inside tent and there is only 20cm gap between it and the plants.

Ok, I'm back and the plants seem to be doing fine. Bit dry and maybe hungry at some points but overall just dandy. Gave them a good one two and removed any dead/dying leaves and fertilized them. This should be it till the end I think. All the herbs are dead as my buddy did not water them only the weed plants, but also forgot to water the smaller weed plants in the baby containers. Gave them about 1L after 5 days and 1.5L after another 5days. wanted it to be on the lower vs the over side of things. Will know more in the next Few days once they drink everything up. the CBD and CBG plants are looking strong. the THCv ones are looking toasted and done. curious if they will need to be harvested before the rest.

On 7/25 I finally got some time to spend with this girl because my Sunday Farmers Market was postponed a day due to rain, so I got pretty wet out in the garden😅 I removed the discolored fan leaves that were't getting enough light and a few interior branches growing inward that wouldn't amount to much. I used 4' bamboo stakes and PGarden EZ Soft Plant Ties to train her main branches out for better air circulation and light penetration. Since it won't be long until they start flowering I decided to give them a bit more P&K with the Neptune's Harvest Rose & Flowering and some good old fashioned Crosby's Molasses to get that sugar production going😋 After I was finished I brought the trim leaves back with me for my horse since he loves snacking on them😉

Fo' Twenny Back with another update on our Orange Sherbert from Barney's Farm! She is looking really good this week. She did start to show some deficiencies after flushing Friday 8/28. Otherwise she looks super healthy with leaves "praying" to the canna-gods! Now, on with the deets! LIGHTING: Increased lighting at dimmer last week with good results. Was about 70k LUX on average @ Canopy. Turning it up a bit more this week. 8 Outer Boards @ 665.5w 6 Inner Boards @ 601w LUX APP MAXES OUT READING 78750 LUX @ Canopy. Lets hope its not too much! RHIZOSPHERE: If you didn't tune into the last update, I had just flushed pots due to high PPM runoff. pH of runoff was at 6.3. PPM and pH are tested using 2 separate calibrated BlueLab meters. 1/22 After some conversations I think I’ve determined the source of my issues. Using primarily coco for organics I guess has some drawbacks and it’s possible that’s why each grow has similar problems around this time. Only thing I can think of to do is top dress in some worm castings mixed in with some more Coco Loco to top off the pots, and then tomorrow I’ll water in the compost tea that I just set up to brew. After that I’ll be doing recharge in almost every watering. Going to try maxing out the microbe content for each pot as much as possible. Along with this I’ll be steadily raising the light intensity to where it should be. Current light setting is 490 PAR / 35.2 DLI. 1/23 Top dressed in about 2 cups of Coco Loco and 1 cup of worm castings to both. Since my coco medium isn’t doing a great job of handling organics I’ll just have to turbo charge the microbe level as much as I can. Both also got a compost tea that I started brewing yesterday. Readjusted the light to 600 PAR / 43.2 DLI. I wanted to go gradual but I’m also curious if they will take that hard step up in light. 1/24 Everything looks really good. I have a good feeling so long as I keep up with recharge and water from here on out it should be fine. 1/25 Both got a full watering with recharge. 1/26 Buds getting fatter and frostier. Looks good.

As you can see from the third picture on day 29 she is looking a little ugly and unkept. I'm not sure if this is a normal thing or something I need to take action on. Advice would be great. So day 30 rolling around. Decided I had to try LST again. She felt more receptive to being bent over today as well. I mainly had to attempt it for space reasons. With the current covid panic all the markets where I buy my buckets from are closed and I can't procure a new one to increase my height for probably a couple of weeks at this rate so LST was my only option. She seems to have taken well to it and I will upload a finished picture of her shortly. Day 32, watered and fed her. 500ml of water plus .3ml each of fox farm trio. Hoping to see her perk up a bit. Concerned about the large brown spot on one of her leaves which made me think she was having a deficiency? Probably a bit early to worry about buds fattening up also but I am worried they are looking a bit airy at the moment on the non main cola sites. I'm not sure if my LST was effective at tricking her into trying to have more than one top cola? Day 33. No noticeable gains today, at least to my eyes. I can spot a little nute burn perhaps but hopefully nothing too serious. Looks like a cola that isn't the original top is starting to fill out just as much, if not more, than the original top though. Hoping they all catch up at a similar pace to each other and reduce the pop corn nug potential! Day 35. She has shown a few more bud sites since last post. I am worried that she is going to produce a fair bit of larf/popcorn bud and wanted to know how to get rid of that? I am not confident to remove any growth without knowing for sure it has a beneficial impact on the overall health of the plant and the final results. Any advise is appreciated. She also seemed a bit thirsty to me. The leaves were feeling a bit thin and dry so I gave her 1L of water with .7ml each of fox farm trio. Hopefully she responds well. I will check her in an hour or so to see if the leaves are starting to point back up - fingers crossed.
