31 Aug. I start the third week of my autoflower. The plant is growing well, but I noticed small yellow spots on the leaf tips, which seem like a mild calcium deficiency. This is probably due to the fact that so far I have been giving water with a slightly low pH, around 6, while the ideal range would be 6.5–7. At the beginning, to lower the ppm of the tap water (which was around 211 ppm), I mixed it with demineralized water. This brought the ppm down to about 109–140, making it harder for the plant to absorb the available calcium. Additionally, the soil I am using, Biobizz Light Mix, is lightly fertilized but does not contain enough calcium to correct this small initial deficiency. For this week, I will not add any fertilizers. I simply want to raise the pH to 6.5 and use water with higher ppm, so the plant can better absorb the nutrients already present in the soil. The lamp is positioned about 35–36 cm from the plant and so far there are no burn issues. Temperatures range between 25 and 30 °C depending on the day, while humidity in the room stays between 40–60%. The humidifier is always on because I keep the window open, but the dehumidifier is not being used, as it is not necessary at the moment. I also have a new oscillating fan arriving to replace the current fixed one, and I’m waiting for a regulable extractor (90–145 m³/h), which will allow me to control the air perfectly during winter if needed. This week my main goals are: Increase the water ppm without overdoing it Adjust the pH to 6.5 Keep observing the plant without adding any fertilizers Everything else seems fine and growth is regular. With these corrections, I expect the new leaves to grow healthy and free of spots. ==UPDATE 31/08== To control the calcium deficiency, I will administer an eggshell solution until I reach 300 ppm (I will boil some eggshells and administer the solution in tap water).

Hi Gromies, well sometimes I can be my own worst enemy seems I defoliated ( actually I'll blame the apprentice Urban grow cat 😺) He defoliated a little to much, it's hard to get good help these days! Anyway she got a bit of light burn directly under light bulb area. A mix of to much defoliation & I also turned light up to super lumen setting & being lazy I hadn't hooked the extraction fan & ducting up to the light ( it's an air cooled light shade) pump air from outside tent through sealed light shade & exhaust it outside. I hooked that up & raised the light around 20 cm & all is good now, some burnt leaves. She is bouncing back & grown more leaves. It may have slowed Bud development a little! I changed light cycle to 12.5 hours of darkness 11.5 hrs on to try & kick her into gear , fool her into thinking the season is coming to an end with shorter daylight hours. I may increase dark period a little more bit by bit, experiment a little, I've read of other growers who give plants less light around week 6 till harvest. She is getting a faint lemony smell. Lollipoped some of the smaller secondary branches, any tips low down not receiving much light & don't look like they will get much bigger, other than that I'm leaving her alone, probably just try & seperate any close growing colas so we don't get any Bud rot. È stata una settimana bellissima e calda. Tutte le varietà sono vicine alla fase finale della fioritura e ognuna ha il suo forte aroma particolare. Tutte quasi piene di infiorescenze dure e molto appiccicose ormai stanno completando il loro processo di fioritura in maniera impeccabile. Come sempre queste varietà dutchfem seeds autofiorenti sono una soddisfazione! Alcune sono di tipo XXL mentre altre di taglia media ma sono tutte piene di infiorescenze e continuano a riempirsi quindi verrà applicata una raccolta graduale tra una settimana o due al massimo. Sparito ogni insetto nelle piante a causa della resina appiccicosa. Sono felice un abbraccio a tutti.

Helloooo good people, how are you all? I am very happy with this ladies, the Northern Light leaves are sooooo beautiful, wtf!!! :-D The roots are amazing as well! The Mimosa Auto I had to clean up all the plant, she was a little bit weak, but on the next day after defoliation, she was wonderful, full of energy again!!! A happy growth for everyone. Love!!

Hey now, so week 2 is in the books, she is growing slow but steady, I will transplant her to an airpot on Monday, top her on Friday, then again the following week. Weather and conditions are perfect for seedlings, warm and humid. First time running anything from the ladies at Tastebudz in the UK, but so far so good. I am still feeding just plain H2O in Pro Mix Seedling Starter blend, but will be transplanting to a mixture of 65/35 Coco Coir/Perlite here in the next few days and will begin fertigation at that time. Back from vacation. Gone 8 days and this is what I came back to! A lot of work ahead.
