Wow what a week this has been, the plants have all undergone fair dramatic changes. A real flurry of leaf yellowing, pistil darkening/curling, and bug swelling. The smell is really coming along now, I think we're really quite close to harvest. On the assumption that pre-flowering was two weeks, this strain should be ready at the end of week seven flowering, so in the case of this diary the end of week nine (i.e. one week to go!). Pistils are about 70-80% amber, and the lower pistils on buds have started curling inward. Trichomes look to me to be something like 10% clear 80% Milky 10% White. I have smoke tested a small bud off the lower part of plant 3 today after quick-drying overnight in the airing cupboard, taking into consideration the obvious chlorophyll from the fast dry, the high was much closer to what I am expecting than the last smoke test. It came on at the normal pace, was quite effective, and lasted a good while. I am really hoping I can navigate my way through the next process, as I feel quite close now to having some home grown bud for the first time. The plants are being well watered this evening with just water, and this will be the last time that I water them until harvest. I will continue to monitor these daily, I intend to harvest at the first sign of any amber trichome. Advice and comments welcomed. P.S. Exciting news! Started some Fox Farms Grow Big this week, and they seem to have taken well. Growing very nicely, I'm tentatively trying a very mild LST on one of the Trainwreck plants, the one that is the smallest so far. I've never done any LST and am curious to see if this even works. Am normally partial to just letting the plants grow on their own.

The end of week 9. This week was a bit of a struggle due to temperatures. Airco was missing and a replacement was found after a week. The increasing temperatures caused heat stress to all four plants and slowed growth. The buds are now starting to mature and ripen. The fade is starting now. The trichomes are still underdeveloped with 50% cloudy and 50% translucent. EC will be lower again this week. I'm hoping it will be ready before day 80. Check my other diaries for the progress with the other medusa plants.

End of week 7, beginning of week 8. Hopefully I have a good grasp on feeding, if not can someone please help me. I'll post my last 3 feedings. Bruce Banner watered/fed on 8/10/22 with 5ml cal mag, 7ml flora nova bloom, 3.5 ml amino acids, 6ml fish shit, 1/2 tsp great white. Mixed together it had a ph of 5.9, 939ppm and 1.9EC. Runoff had 6.3ph, 1.1 EC and 539 ppm. Also removed 52 fan leaves 8/13/22 Bruce Banner defoilated today and watered. Watering had 6.4ph, .8ec and 380ppm. Mixed 5ml cal mag, 6 ml fish shit, 1.5tsp flora nova bloom, 3.5ml amino acids and great white. Fed with 6.0ph, 936ppm and 1.9ec Runoff had 6.5ph, 569ppm and 1.2ec 8/15/22 Bruce Banner watered with 1 gallon distilled water ph'ed 5.9. The runoff had 6.5ph, 466ppm and .8ec. I fed with 5ml cal mag, 6ml fish shit, 1.5tsp flora nova bloom, 3.5ml amino acids, 1/2tsp great white, which had a 5.8ph, 966ppm and 1.9ec. The runoff was 6.4ph, 578ppm, 1.2ec. 8/17/22 Bruce Banner water with 5.2 ph water. Runoff was 6.5ph, .8ec and 399ppm. 5ml cal mag, 8ml flora nova bloom, 3.5ml amino acids, 6ml fish shit, 1/2 tsp great white. 2.0ec, 1011ppm and 4.9ph. Runoff had 6.3ph, 557ppm and 1.1ec

Update Tag 5 von Woche 6 16.05.2012 19.00 Uhr. Belichtung umgestellt auf 12/12. Gezählt hab ich über 50 Köpfchen. Ich bin wirklich gespannt. Der 8 Liter Stofftopf ist wirklich super. Keine Ahnung warum viele damit nicht klar kommen. Beim nächsten Grow werden nur noch Stofftöpfe verwendet. Die White Widows x Big Bud sind wirklich robust und Anfängerfreundlich. Alles in allem sieht es doch ganz gut aus.

Alle drei Future #1 wurden gestern getoppt und mit Bud Candy von Advanced Nutrients und Bio Bloom von Bio Bizz auf die Blüte vorbereitet. All three Future #1 were topped yesterday and prepared for flowering with Bud Candy from Advanced Nutrients and Bio Bloom from Bio Bizz.

Well she seems to be getting along very well for her 4th week in flower. Nothing exciting done this week i keep feeding her about 5 litres of water with 30ml canna A and 30ml canna B with a ph of 6.3 on average water schedule about every 24hours.

Esa familia, nuestras crazy cookies están algo sobre fertilizadas y por ello le practicamos un lavado de raíces para eliminar los nutrientes sobrantes. Ph controlado unos días sin regar la próxima semana y veremos que tal avanzan , floración lenta imagino que por culpa de la sobrefertilización aunque tiene solución fumetillas.

En esta actualización se incluyen 2 semanas ya que por trabajo me fue imposible añadir la semana anterior. El día 15 de Agosto recibió la segunda pulverización de Bacillus Thuringiensis para prevenir el ataque de las orugas. Sigo alternando riego de agua un día con riego de Ascophillum Nodosum al día siguiente. He dejado de regar con Cannazym.
