4/3/2023 - Day 36 Flower: Just watered yesterday so not much to report. The living soil bed makes this stage very easy. Basically, I'm on autopilot at this point. 4/5/2023 - Day 38 Flower: watered again today with 4 gallons, mixed with Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja, Rootwise Bio-Phos and Bio-Catalyst, BuildASoil Big 6 and BuildABloom, Fermented Peach Extract, and Coconut Powder. 4/7/2023 - Day 40 Flower: Plants look great and are starting to smell more. The Grand Prix #2 continues to be the stinkiest and has the most frost. Has a slight grape smell, but still too early to really nail it down. Both Grand Prix are showing some purple in the leaves as well. 4/9/2023 - Day 42: watered about 3.5 gallons today, mixed with ThermX-70, Coconut Powder, and Yah-Whey Thrive.

Heute wurden die Sämlinge eingepflanzt in den finalen Topf von Terra Aquatica, Cultimate, 15 Liter. Die Steinwoll Würfel gieße ich dann nach 3 Tagen mal,das System habe ich eingeschaltet. Die Sour Jealousy von Fast Buds ist ein Ticken größer wie die Orange Bud von Dutch-passion. Mal sehen wer das Rennen macht.. ppfd liegt bei 215, bei 20 Stunden Licht haben wir einen DLI von 15.48.

Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I did some HST bending. The branches are starting to recover and straighten out after the HST now. I still have some issues with pale leaves and a few spots here and there. I’m going to try adding some Dolomite Lime with the next watering and think that should help with the paleness. I’m also going to up the amount of CalMag and Mammoth P to see if that helps with the spotting. I’m not sure if I should see the spotted leaves recover or if the spots will remain. I suspect the spots will remain on the existing leaves regardless of what I do at this point, but hopefully no new spotting will develop. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. The little ladies are looking very good so far. The lamp height has been reduced to 60cm and the light adjusted again (Ppfd:430 DLi:27). The temperature is 21 degrees Celsius and the humidity 65%. In the next few days the ladies will also be repotted in their final 11L fabric pots. -DAY 19 The ladies were repotted today in their final 11L fabric pots and were watered with 500mL water with 5ml/1L Hesi TNT complex. I think I will now give them a week to recover and take root before I top them. -DAY 21 The second week of vegetation is coming to an end. So far there are no problems, the ladies look healthy and are growing. They were watered with 500ml of clear water. This girl is looking great! Noticeably frostier than last year so I am excited! She smells really strong right now, lotta sweet and slightly skunky. I spend most of my video talking about how my plan for a tomato roof using stuff I already had didn't work out so looks like I'm going to Lowe's on Wednesday. Gotta get it up before the cold and rain starts in so I don't get moldy buds.

Update14/09/20 - Most of the girls afe growing nicely. 1 of the blueberry's is challenged (Pictured left). From sprouting there were a few mutations to early leaves. 1 leaf began to twirl as though re-vegging, branches were very short and growth very slow. All other plants growing nicely. Ph 6.0 Humidity 50% Co2 Water temp 22c Day temp 24c Night 18c. With the Blueberry, I decded to top at the 4th node. Branches were small or really almost non-existent. I also gave it the 'Kyle Kushman' Chiropractic proceedure, by firmly squeezing the branches (similar to super cropping although no bending just popping inside of branches, as branches are way to small to properly Kyle Kushman so I tried it this way) to hopefully form knuckles and push energy up into the lower branches, and together with the topping will hopefully prove a great idea and really bush out the bottom branches and strength the over all plant. I am aware that this may push the plant into flower, although going by my previous grow (2nd Grow diary) my Auto Blueberry has been slowed in growth by 2 weeks by topping and lollipopping in mid veg, so either way it's OK which way it goes "Flower or slowed growth. As long as the plant can have an opportunity to grow at it's full potential. I know this type will give the plant the right direction to place its energy to grow properly. (The plant needs help) 14/09/20 - Defoliated and light LST bending branches out lightly. 16/09/20 - White widows, Blueberry OG & Brooklyn Sunrise have begun to show signs of sex, exactly 5 weeks + 3 days (Day 38) from Seed for the Glueberry, 1 x White Widow & Brooklyn Sunrise. 2 x Blueberry & 1 x White Widow is exactly 1 week behind 4 weeks & 3 days (Day 31) Continued with LST with bending only for training. Blueberry that was topped is progressing nicely although still very stunted. I'm OK with that as all others are growing nicely. * The structure of nodes etc on White Widow, Glueberry, Brooklyn Sunrise & the Blueberry left untouched is awesome! Works well for LST. These WW, BS strains in Kratsky are really bushing out with branching & leaves everywhere, as opposed to the Glueberry & Blueberry is well structured with the perfect amount of branching to leaves, with very little LST *
